Lmao exactly what I was thinking, so its just absurdly clear that they're (Azi and Crow)so painfully in love with each other that their key of enjoying life wud be just a date with the other n spending time together.

I love when Nina and Maggie unanimously agreed David is an angel and Michael's the devil.
And when you've watched several interviews of the two together, you can't help but agree. 😂
once you've met them, they're both angels. though I do agree, michael might be a bit more on the naughty side than David 😂

dont even need to watch the interviews look at the roles theyve playes. david is a vicar, a detective, a lawyer, a dr, a traveller etc and michael.... well serial killers and mad kings are more his thing lol
@@deli5194 david played killgrave whos a villain and played him really well plus i believe he has played serial killers aswell ;) same with michael but ive not seen many of his roles. plus in doctor who 10 (davids original doctor) is more of an antihero whos morals are all over the place but is showed and portrayed more often as the hero then an antihero

I am not a native speaker of English, but I understood "Watch each other" "Like every good marriage". Are you sure David said "torture"?
@@sarahkoe1903 A comment higher up heard "want to be together", but I'm pretty sure the joke is that they want to (good-naturedly) torture eachother. "Plan the evening, then I complain about it."
I'm also not a native speaker, but we get a lot of British TV, nothing is dubbed, I started learning it the same time as my native tongue and the bastards make us decipher spoken scottish for our english exams. xD Can't be sure though, of course! ^^
I love David's "I'm sure the real heaven's great" because he delivers it like some offended angels might me tuning in.
I can't stop cooing over how David and Michael talk by directly looking and leaning into each other with smiles
Davids "Lets put everyone into heaven" is the proof that he is absolutly an Angel, just like everyone says.

Like this interview was the longest I've seen Michael and David look at each other and be able to really discuss with the other

@@aperocknroll88 oh absolutely. But it’s doing quite well and Amazon is good with continuing their shows so I think it’s pretty much guaranteed once the writers strike ends.

Don't sweat it, it's coming. Season 2 is just an original story meant to fill in the gap between the first book and the story of the proposed sequel novel that Neil and Terry had planned to write called "668: Neighbour of the Beast". Neil is determined to make it it in show form. Our story will continue.
David's answer just makes me love him even more.❤
David is a pure Angel-baby 24/7 unless he turns his Kilgrave or otherwise on and even then, I tend to forgive him easily.
Michael is a real life angel because he does a SHITTON of good when it comes to charity, more than people will ever know, but as soon as he turns on the charm...oooh boy. tempation CITY!
So, actually really like in the show. they both can do both - perfect casting :D
I've heard he helps some small local ones. Can't confirm it now though.

@@tymondabrowski12 to make that abundantly clear: AMONGST OTHERS, he brought the homeless world cup to wales, paid 2 million out of his own pocket, went basically bankrupt for it and is now a pay-forward actor.
He's never been a celebrity who just lent his face and didn't get involved, quite the contrary.
He spent the whole five days at the homeless worldcup, talking to the press, introducing, moderating panels, being amazing to everyone who was there (including me, so yeah, I can attest firsthand and I learned a LOT from it)
He set up petitions, met up with mps, he really gets involved.
so,yeah..not just a pretty face throwing a bit of money around
i love how they just start planing a date for crowley and aziraphale and say "me" "you" "i" like these two would go on that date!:)
Neil Gaiman dresses like Crowley every day but he is a nice decent guy.
I loved this interview. This and the one on Black Girl Nerds were stellar--original, interesting questions, an attentive interviewer who actually listens to what they say (as opposed to interrupting or cutting them off).
So yeah we can all collectively agree that Michael and David basically just swapped roles in real life👀
Yet they played opposites roles brilliantly
I don’t know how I’m gonna watch season 2. I started crying out of excitement from just watching this interview.

Han’t seen it yet due to the reviews, which are mostly awful. Plot sounds painfully thin and boring.
@@GingerPeacenikthe season is amazing. You should definitely watch it for the acting alone. I have to admit that the is absolutely gut wrenching and you will have a lot of feelings after it. But it was spectacular and absolutely lovely

@@noneed4me2n7 I was at first bc I went into it thinking that would be it when it’s actually meant to be leeway INTO the plot that Neil and Terry had planned for a sequel. Not exactly filler but it’s actually s3 that’s meant to be the big plot we all expected. I enjoyed it a lot more on the rewatch.
@@GingerPeacenik It’s funny, I had actually expected reviews like that and haven’t seen a single one yet (tho I’ll admit I’m not seeking them out). I was disappointed at first and then I learned it’s meant to be more of a bridge between the books (if there had been a sequel) and rewatching it knowing that made it a lot better. I think people were just annoyed at the pacing (and I will agree the gabriel plot could have probably be 3 eps instead of 6)
Such a great team , natural chemistry together.. good feeling , not often seen or felt nowdays , I hope Amazon gives them more series ...crime-drama or comedy fantasy.. anything!

I actually think Nina is playing the Aziraphele side of the relationship (always saying "no" because of fear), and Maggie being Crowley not backing away despite being rejected time and time again.

Aziraphale pissed me off! How dare he leave my man Crowley like that!
I can't really blame Aziraphale because I'm sure he has been influenced, his decision doesn't make any sense
If you rewatch the season you can see the whole season leading up to this and that it is inevitable that that's the decision they both make. It's like Maggie and Nina, where they can't get in a relationship since Nina is still working over how she feels about her toxic ex. That's how Aziraphale is with heaven it's so toxic how they treat him all day long and he knows it, but not as clearly as Crowley, he didn't see how heaven never gave him a trial and were just so gleeful to kill him in hellfire or why Gabriel got kicked out of heaven. Aziraphale still thinks angels and heaven are the good guys, and it just may be a few rogue angels mucking it up, then at the end of season 1 he sees that even the metatron wants the apocalypse, so his beliefs about himself and the world and what being good is for 6000 years are coming apart. But when the metatron comes back in this season at the end, he is quick to relapse in his previous beliefs and think " I must have misjudged heaven" and when Crowley rejects coming to heaven Aziraphale is still in shock as the metatron coaxes him into the elevator and takes advantage of his confusion in that moment. It's the same story over and over, Crowley says they should run away together, Aziraphale rejects because he thinks he can do good and fix things/ get angels to fix things and Crowley knows that is never going to work and just has to leave Aziraphale to realize his own mistakes. They haven't grown enough as characters yet to be able to be together properly without outside forces driving a wedge between them. Seems like Aziraphale will be forced to realize how bad heaven is and hopefully will grow as a character and come back to Crowley extremely apologetic

Officially I suppose they were created as angels and then they were flung to the earth. Did god turn them into demons, not so sure. In Dogma they were two angels through to earth with no power, but they were really pissed of angels
