Mate, thanks for posting this. Just what I wanted to see. Your bike looks so much better with these on instead of the Contis. I read that these blow up larger than their intended size. Is that your experience ? I’m thinking of the 25’s in that case.
Cheers mate. I personally never ridden 28s before and now that installed these I’d never go back to 25s. My wheelset is staggered so I just measured them with a Caliper for you. I have the 17mm inner on the front and that comes to 29mm at 90PSI. The rear is 19mm inner rim and that measures 30mm at 80PSI so I goes they do inflate more than 28! But not causing me any grief. Hope this helps 😉
Oh mate. You’re a champion. That’s absolutely awesome of you. My issue is an Enve 2.0 road fork. Calliper brakes. So I max out at 28. I’m also running 19mm inner. That’s fantastic, specific, info. Much appreciated. Safe riding 👍
That’s interesting. I’ve actually just ordered a new set. They ended up lasting me around the 6000KMs. The front tire still looks very good so I only replaced the rear for now. Overall I’m happy with the performance and looks of the Michelins Power Cup TLR👍🏻
I actually have ridden the new tyres for 150Kms, one ride was over 125Km long and I found them to be quite comfortable offering great stability especially when cornering and leaning into the bend. Also in terms of rolling resistance I gave no concerns there at all having been riding Contis before they seem to be comparable in that regards. The bike itself is very lovely. I have now clocked ever 13,000kms on it and it still feels like the first day I bought it. Great quality frameset and components. It’s actually quite comfortable to ride for an Aero bike and it’s light weight. So I have no issue using it as an all rounder, great on the flats and when climbing in the hills. And as an added bonus very easy on the eyes. All in all great value package from Giant.
power are nice tiers they just need to update there fit for wider rims I currently cant use them
That's a nice bike man.
Thanks mate 👍🏻
I have the same tires that are great but I got the all black ones because the whitewall tires show dirt very quickly.

1300km is insane! Mine just did 900km and I feel like they are destroyed 😂
