  • So this guy is proof u can come off the street.. no experience and beat a national level guy. There will be likely a ton of videos to follow with this guy as he will undoubtedly become Larry's armwrestling training partner and a guy to watch for as he gets savy.
Keep in mind with the videos that follow on Larry's channel.. I took 2 complete burn out rounds to failure and beyond out of him before he armwrestled anyone else.
Dude is a total freak natural - introducing:

Devon must feel special when he sees potential talents like this that will probably never give it a good try, just because life decided otherwise.
In so many sports the true geniuses those sports would have will never actually practice it ever. Those guys with insane genetics staying unknown.

I agree. There are probably some potential 'monsters' out there who just never got into the sport of armwrestling. They might just lift weights but armwrestling may not interest them. Also, just like the sport of bodybuilding, many top armwrestlers have used PEDs. I mean, look at Denis Cyplenkov. I find it hard to believe that guy was clean of PEDs in his prime.

Just a lil' story. My Dad is retired now. But he was always insanely strong. He was raised in Mexico in the sticks. His floor in his hut was made of bamboo in the desert. Worked in the fields from sun up to sun down. Then came to America in the 60's and worked all his life as a welder with shaping/ welding steel. So he just kept getting stronger. He would literally crush your hands in a handshake. Just painting a back drop. He said in the town near him was a really small Mexican guy. Never worked really hard or ever lifted weights. But the guys would play knuckle wrestling. It's kinda like armwrestling but soley locking up middle fingers. Anyway, he said this lil' bitty guy would crush everyone, even my Dad. And yes, he had killer crushing hand grip. Who knows how many pontential poqerhouses are out there in this amazing world. The few years I was in steel fabrication I rivaled my Dad in strength. Anyway, GOD bless you sir and sorry for the ramble. John 3:16. Jesus is returning!

Devon you remind me so much of my Martial Arts teacher from a decade ago. I've learned so much from him and he used to talk and teach very similar as you are.
It was a constant balance between building confidence and beating my ass. Between showing + explaining and letting me struggle on my own.
There's humility that often comes with learning how to fight and actually having had a fight (sorry for my english at this point). It bugs me that there seem to people all around pissing on kindness, telling everbody to be tough and beat others in all areas of life. This destroys every oportunity for people around them to flourish.
You and my former teacher encourage growth and I value people like that.

Then I would snap my wrist which no one could stop and slam them. I had one guy not admit defeat so on the 3rd one I just brought him back and forth until his wrist gave out in pain. • @robertwilson3866

+Kilurz - you have to realize lifting cars/engines/car parts is more exercise than lifting weights because you are lifting them very heavy objects at weird angels - not controlled or in a straight in a line like in a gym. I worked as a furniture-moving guy and we had to lift these huge cabinets at odd angles (to avoid hitting things), often with only a couple of fingers on a small ridge on the cabinet. And we were doing it all day not just a 2 hour workout in gym. One guy who joined us for a week had a heart attack. I had to stop because i got a small injury and it got worse and worse because never got any rest. Only the fittest could keep doing that job
