It used to be much deeper compared to now, do you still sound like that when you're not recording, or was it always high and there was just a difference in mics and such? I'm just more expressive now, everyone will notice weird voice changes if they go listen to 15 year old them as a 25 year old. Its normal as you become more confident :) The current $2000 setup for audio vs the built in laptop mic with a fan distorting it isn't doing my voice any favors either.
