All the guys complaining about getting a "guy version" need to get over themselves. Do we really need this advice when the world basically caters to us and tells us this from day one? Most Women don't really get that, from early on they're told how they should look and how they should act instead of giving them the choice about what they want to do with their bodies and giving them the ability to think for themselves and do what they want. So yes this video was needed. If we get a version for us guys then so be it but if we don't then just shut up sit down and straighten that meninist hoodie. I could be wrong but that's how I see it.

I'm a guy and I'm fine if there is not male version of this, because men don't get cat called, harassed, beaten, and oppressed as much than women. It's a harder life for women in todays society than it is for men. I think it's fine if girls get more help or benefits, since they have gone through a lot. And to all those guys who say men are oppressed by women, that's BS. The only time a guy is oppressed is by another guy, so don't get mad at the girls, get mad at the guys, if you think guys are oppressed.

I think she means think bluntly but feel beautifully. When you stray away and and fantasy and unnecessary creativity to thoughts, a spade doesn't become a spade any more, it becomes a distorted figure that you over analyze when all you needed was to call it like it is and do what you think is right, sort of thing

I love this so much. I'm so happy people are taking the initiative to spread this kind of message, because even though we say it all the time, being confident is not easy, and at the end of the day, it's just a butt. It's just hair, it's just a shirt, legs, feet, a nose, eyes, boobs and abs. What really matters is the brain, the strength, the capacity to be yourself and to be happy with who that is. These are all such inspiring women, thank you for sharing!

some people don't seem to get what Zoe Saldana said. I think that her advice is that you shouldn't make appearances the only thing that matters for you and judge people according to that only. What she said seems to have a double purpose b/c it is a good advice for women in general to stay grounded and be passionate about what they want to do, but it can be read as an advice for young woc, specifically, too: she is not saying that color doesn't matter, she says that that feeling in color is beautiful..just, not let people who only see color stop you from being yourself and doing what you want to do with your life.

I really loved what Anna Faris said!!! I always thought that she isn't the brightest because of her roles in the Scary Movie type of films. But actually I loved her advice the most! It spoke to me in a way the others didn't! I really love her for that! Respect, Anna, you are great!!!

I think the biggest misunderstanding is the phrase, just be who you are. It should really be, 'Be what you want to be'. Strive to be the best you, that you can imagine. If that means to you going to school for your PhD, do that. If it means taking acting classes, do that. If it means training to participate in a particular sport, do it. If it means getting plastic surgery to even the playing field with those who were born naturally beautiful, do that. Don't be satisfied with being average. Even those who start out average can become outstanding if they try hard enough. Don't let other people's limitations become your own.

I don't actually know who any of these celebritites are but the message is still very inspirational, I'm struggling at the moment because I wan't to go to art college but due to my grades have been pigeon-holed into more academic subjects. The whole concept of living life how you want to for you is something I really need to work on right now.

I thought Anna's response was the most thought out, she understands that just by saying "be yourself" won't get any results, and real results take time.

I don't know how to be myself because I haven't discovered myself yet. I've been so influenced of other people and social expectations that I don't know myself anymore. I have a hard time deciding who I am as a person. That may be because I am still young and my personality is still changing, but I've heard all Of these people tell me to be myself. I dot believe society will get to the point where everyone is their own person and everyone respects each other in my lifetime. But the path to acceptance is a long and hard path, and I'm willing to try and discover myself, to greater being it everyone around me.

I'm really insecure, and I've become a lot more than before after I realized I didn't fit up to the "beauty" expectations: a big butt, small waist, big hips, big boobs. My friends would joke around with me, saying I had no ass, thighs, boobs, (I'm naturally skinny) and it really got the best of me. They didn't know it hurt me, only because I faked a laugh and a playful hit. After I watched this video, it opened my mind. I'm still not "little miss perfect" but I am something. That's me. ❤️
