On the night of December 21st, 2023, 18-year-old Savanah Soto and 22-year-old Matthew Guerra left their apartment in Texas to sell marijuana to 19-year-old Christopher Preciado unbeknownst to their families. Then, two days later Savanah missed her appointment to be induced into labor. She and her boyfriend Matthew were expecting their first child together, a son, named Fabian. Their families reported them missing and a CLEAR alert was issued. Sadly, just 3 days later their bodies were found murdered in Matthew’s car. Thanks to surveillance footage, San Antonio police detectives were able to determine 3 persons of interest. On January 3rd, 2024, 2 suspects were arrested. 19-year-old Christopher Preciado and his father Ramon Preciado. Then, a week after their arrests, a third arrest was made. Christopher’s stepmother, Myrta Romanos was also arrested and charged for her involvement in concealing the murders. More information is expected to come out in the coming weeks.

They want to be 100% sure that these ppl will be convicted & that the defense won’t be able to challenge anything. Even the "he came from a stable home, we never saw it coming" cases wind up being from neglectful and emotionally abusive toxic family systems. That doesn't mean they don't love him or can't or haven't been changing themselves, but don't drag their child and absolve them of any accountability. So many things happened here that shouldn't have. How did her family allow her to be with a 19 year old at age 15? There is a photo of him holding a stack of money, they knew he was dealing, they just lost their son due to gun violence, why let your minor daughter stay with an abusive man? It doesn't seem like she ran away from home or lived with him, as far as I can tell she lived with her parents and they just allowed it?? He goes to jail for abusing her and you just let him back in your home?

I hate to say this but it’s very “normal” in their culture (Mexican culture) they literally allow their daughters to date grown men… or even allow a grown man which could be a family friend to date their daughter… it’s so insane…. When the girls turn 15 and have “quinces” that’s basically celebrating they’re a “woman” or of age even though they’re legit kids😐… I use to know a girl years ago that was a freshman with the rest of us and she was dating 26 year old which happened to be her brothers friend.. it’s insane… i knew a few others with similar situations or a bunch of cases where the teenager is dating a grown man and tragedy always happens. 🙄

Maybe this could have been prevented but pointing fingers isn’t going to change anything. These parents have been through enough without strangers telling them it’s their fault.

I used to be a supporter of the death penalty, however, my views have changed because my uncle was killed in May of 2007. He was a police officer and he and another officer were killed in the line of duty. The man who killed them was given the death penalty. That was almost 17 years ago and he still hasn't been executed. He has been given two stays of execution, the last one being over 5 years ago and no new date has been set. It has caused my aunt immense mental and physical pain. I say all this because so many families think the death penalty will bring closure. They think that once that person is gone, they will finally get justice. What they don't realize is that inmates sit on death row for years. They are given appeals and stays of execution. It is not a swift punishment and in the case of my family, it has brought more heartache than closure. I truly hope that Savannah, Matthew and Fabian's families are able to find some healing and peace regardless of the punishment these murderers receive.

I’m sorry hold on… 19 and 15? Did they start dating then, or that’s when they met? Because the way the timeline is laid out, it sounded like Matthew dated Savannah when he was an adult and she was a minor. I mean neither of them should have faced the fate that happened to them, especially not Savannah. But a 19 year old dating a 15 year old… yikes…

i understand that none of them deserved to be murdered, but i can’t help but think about the fact that had this drug deal not happened, fabian would’ve gone through SO much childhood trauma given the fact savannah and matthew’s relationship was already so toxic, which in itself really fucks up a child. not to mention that matthew was a drug dealer, so who knows what fabian would have been exposed to?? that’s probably just the tip of the iceberg, but at the end of the day it’s just sad all around.

Hey, you swine. You should started off with “None of them shouldve been murdered” and left it at that. Proceeding to add “but…” ruined it.
You cannot predict the kind of life an UNBORN CHILD wouldve had. My parents had a toxic relationship and were drug dealers and I’ve NEVER been exposed to drugs or been “really fucked up” by their relationship. Some people change after having kids, but obviously you wouldn’t know that.
No, instead felt the need to share your unwanted opinion based on no evidence at all. Realistically, you shouldve left no comment at all. All 3 of them were VICTIMS. They were KILLED. Have some fucking respect for their families.
You and the people like you are the scum of the earth, and I hope karma eventually catches up with you.

A drug dealer? He was selling weed. That’s hardly a drug dealer. Plenty of people do this medicinally, where I live there is literally a weed shop on every corner. The economy that we are in creates an environment, where fast money is very hard to let go of. It doesn’t sound like Mathew had very many options. Shame on you for being judgmental of them. Dropping off a bag of weed to some kid is like grabbing a Starbucks to u, no biggie. He wasn’t selling 700 pounds to the cartel. He was selling a half ounce to an acquaintance.
