  • In this video I take you along as I replace the engine oil cooler on a 2000 Ford Excursion 6.8L.
    The oil cooler failed on this vehicle and introduced oil into the cooling system. This is why I’m replacing it.
    Note: A visual inspection of the oil cooler must be performed after repairs to check for oil and coolant leaks. Repair as needed.
    It's my opinion that vacuum filling the cooling system is the best way to fill the cooling system.
