Great Video man! I just bought an 883 as my first bike and it has been a lot of fun so far. I'm definitely a newer rider(and verrrry nervous), so it's awesome to see how far you've come in a short amount of time

As a new rider I bought a used 2021 iron 883. Denim black no chrome. Love it. I agree with everything you said. Perfect first bike, manageable,not intimidating plus as you said you can make it into pretty much any thing you want!!
Came over from Doyle's channel and subbed. Like the content. Gonna have to check that 883 out. I love my 2020 RGS but sometimes think I would like something a little smaller and lighter to run around on. Not to replace the RGS. Love that ride. Just another option in the garage. Ride Safe!

I really like early 2000, Sportsters. We just picked up a cherry 2014, 883 Iron to train a new rider on. Bonus, we can turn these bikes around in a hot second too bro.
The Iron 883 and 1200 are not just good starter bikes...they are great bikes for anyone who likes to ride. I have ridden the 1200 before and I loved it!!

Nice..yep. first bike is a 883 2022.. I jumped the gun..should of bought a used but I wanted the warranty and possibly trade it in some day. Can't go back..but I enjoy it

Bilt Blaze 2 jacket, It's pretty lightweight and mesh for good airflow
Just my two cents. After a couple of weeks riding and 1K miles riding my 15' iron, I'd call it a decent second bike to keep around for hopping around to run quick errands if you're staying off the highway. But I'd encourage others to look into HDs larger bikes seriously as well. The iron is ~550lbs wet whereas the others, granted significantly more expensive, are only ~650lbs wet and are more dynamic. Grab one as a starter bike (USED and USED ONLY) to get your feet wet, but expect to either trade it in for something bigger or keep it as a second bike. The iron is fun and cheap though if you buy well. Love the content! Keep it up!

Thanks for this video as I have been on the fence about getting the 883 vs the Rebel 500 as a new rider getting my first bike. I did take the MSF course recently and test drove both of these models. I am leaning towards the 500 because it does seem more manageable as a newbie, but deep down I just really love the look, sound, and feel of the 883. I am thinking with engine guards the 883 might be the one for me since, Im guessing I will drop it in practicing slow speed maneuvers, and who knows what else. Best regards..

I bought a 2020 iron 🤣 I do feel like I overspent, but I love it. I plan on keeping my iron forever, so me being the only owner adds that deeper connection.
I bought a 2020 iron 883 too! Love the bike so far and just starting to customize it the way I want it. My dad’s first real bike was a Harley Sportster, so I kinda wanted to follow in his steps. I’d really like to find that skull gas cap GETWRENCHD has though lol...can’t find one online that says it fits the bike.

I bought it at a Harley dealer, it was part #61100103A. Not sure why it won’t fit a 2020 unless they changed the tank specs for 2020

how bad is the vibration? I went and sat on one today and I like how it felt. I'm 6'1" but the said they could move the controls forward for me. I also go for my MSF next week so it would be my first one.
