- Created a video with Nasadiya Sukta and HiranyaGarbha Sukta from Bharat Ek Khoj. The chants were stuck in my head for the past few days, and finally decided to do something about it. Pictures are taken by yours truly from different parts of Bharat.
This chant what we hear as title track for ' Bharat Ek Khoj ' is called "The Nasadiya Sukta",.. also known as the Hymn of Creation, is the 129th hymn of the 10th mandala of the Rigveda. It is related with cosmology and the origin of the universe. As you are aware the hymns start in Sanskrit,.but after a couple of lines it is chanted with hindi translation.
A master Creators like Shyam Benegal ji only can think this way, as to how this serial can be presented in a best way.
A Legend in the music world, Shri Vanraj Bhatia sahaab, who is the original composer of this title track had done a marvelous job to gel with concept and presentation of this epic tv series. It's sad that Vanraj Bhatia sahaab had passed away on.May 8, 2021 at his apartment in Rungta Housing Colony in Mumbai. Our salutations to this great composer and heartfelt condolences on his demise, which is a Great loss to indian music.

Su-uktha is from Vedas. Music director was a Bhatia. Producer was a Bengali. This was a real time of national integration and people had respect and pride in their Hindu heritage. In today's date, these kind of surnames have drifted far away from their fundamental belief. Bengalis are atheists or librandus, Bhatias... Less said better.. 😠
