How to get the "Kill 'Em All" GUITAR TONE - James Hetfield (Metallica) - Bias Amp & Bias FX

- Using Bias Amp 2 and Bias FX 2, I show how to accurately get the guitar sound from James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett (Metallica) on the "Kill 'Em All" album.
IMPORTANT 2023 UPDATE - Some users have reported they can't find my presets when searching Bias FX 2. This seems to be a glitch in their search system. To solve the issue, type in the search field "DMO -" (yes, just DMO followed by a space and hyphen) and choose "Sort by Popularity" in the drop-down beside the search field. You should see all of my presets.
Please note many users have taken my presets and created their own versions with similar names. To make sure you are downloading my original presets, my user name in Bias FX 2 is "Dan Oliv". Also, my original presets have a lot more downloads than the non-original versions.

. Bias Amp 2 and Bias FX 2 guitar modeling software - metal distortion and Mesa Boogie Mark IIc+ amp simulation
. Line 6 UX-1 audio interface and M-Audio monitors
. Reaper Digital Audio Workstation
. iMac with El Capitain OS
. B.C. Rich NJ Deluxe JR. V guitar with original Floyd Rose tremolo and active EMG pickups
My guitar medley features these songs: "No Remorse", "Jump in the Fire", "Phantom Lord", "Whiplash" and "The Four Horsemen".

The tone itself was great but I've never seen anyone get the picking pattern so wrong in phantom Lord lmao
The jump in the fire part was a bit hard on the eyes aswell

As far as I knew, James used a flying v copy with Gibson dirty fingers pickups on this album, so I didn't expected emgs to sound so accurate to the original record.

Hey if I get Bias FX 2 and Bias amp 2, which versions do I get from each? Standard, Professional or Elite?
Hey, how did you get bias fx 2 on Mac? For me whenever I download it and then try to open it, it says that it doesn’t have the correct files to open it, but then I deleted again and downloaded it again and it did the same exact thing. Can someone help me please
Missing the slight reverb.
It was actually intentional. I decided to remove the reverb for a more "in your face" tone.
Can you do Overkill - Years Of Decay tone?
I remember that tone - very bright and thick. Some other really amazing underrated tones are Celtic Frost (To Megatherion), Morbid Angel (Altars of Madness) and Exodus (Bonded by Blood).

Are you using Bias FX 2? It won't appear on the tonecloud of FX 1. If you're using FX 2, it's probably the apostrophe in 'Em when you search. Type "dmo" in the search box and all my tones should appear.
