Did a normal thumbnail show up for you guys or was it a vertical type thumbnail? Was it just a pic of me or was it of bakhtiari? Trying to figure something out.

Their line is set bro. Lol. Do some research. There’s NO way the Jets pick him up. He’ll most likely go to the chiefs.

The Jets could sign Bahktiari to a one year contract. If David would not be able to play a game the 2024-2025 season, New York could let him go. IMO, David should retire from football, and, search for a career outside of playing football.

Bakhtiari was a truly great lineman, and 'was' is past tense which is the proper tense to use in referring to his career. And that career brutalized his knee. He won't make the Packer lineup unless it's on a 'show me' contract because it's most unlikely he can play at his former level... Players who are past it often have a reach that exceeds their grasp, and there's nothing wrong with that, but it's not a good reason for a team to sign him...

Not if you were unable to work due to a job related injury... there are these thing called workers rights protections that protect your employment and or the majority of your wages.
Also, he was working... I'm guessing you've never had to rehab an injury let alone the same injury that required multiple surgeries... he was in the building rehabbing and handling his business like a true professional, only for know nothings like yourself to proudly display their ignorance by not understanding basic workers protections and equating your 9-5 normal job with the NFL.

@@chenzomutumbo9140 He could always get an ordinary job like the other billions of people on earth do. He's made millions the last few years without hardly playing. I shouldn't have to explain the difference between not being able to perform at the highest human physical level and being so disabled you cant do an ordinary job. Bakhtiari does not deserve sympathy. He is a multi millionaire in his 30's.

He was one of the best LTs in the league when healthy. If he was 100%, he'd be worth signing. But after 2 years of his knee not holding up, I'd say the odds are kind of low. Between that and how many years he'd have left to play even if it were 100%, it probably wouldn't be worth it. It would just delay the development of the guys we have. So I would have let him go also.
Sorry his feelings were hurt, because I did like him, but the team has to be concerned about the future and Bahktiari would be to much of a risk. His feelings are not more important than the team. They gave him 2 years to recover because they believed in him.

If he ever plays a full season again I will be past shocked! He and Aaron need to open an exclusive bar on the beach, with a high dollar driving range, mini yachts to charter for water fun/fishing……of course top shelf and only for millionaires…..probably private.

Bakhtiari had an experimental surgery to try and re-grow cartilage. It's excruciating and it's bone on bone. I had a Doctor TALK to me about this surgery a few years ago...but I was not an athlete any longer(never was an athlete that was going to make any money, I was a Wrestler, so really didn't make sense).
BUT...I've heard this has really come a long way. I'd very much be in favor of bringing back Bakh on a deal for a year and the VSB which is..probably 1.4 this year(but counts as the minimum) plus 250K in a SB and then load it up with incentives.
Games played, PB, All-Pro, etc...but I don't expect we'll be interested(and I know fans will be so against this given the way the last 3 years played out).
But...the guy is still elite when he plays. It'd be a HUGE boost to this team. Let Morgan play OF, Walker is your swing...but it's not going to happen.

David Bakhtiari sounds bitter to me. You certainly didn’t get this kind of drama when Brian Bulaga knew it was over. But then again, maybe that’s why he and Rodgers are best buds. If I were him I’d focus and my long term health and not trying a comeback that’s lasted three years now. To quote McCarthy “that train has left the station.”

The Green Bay Packers parted ways with their former offensive tackle David Bakhtiari this offseason, and while he remains available in free agency, he doesn’t appear worried about his chances at an NFL comeback. Given David Bakhtiari’s comments, he should be generating some interest from NFL teams in the coming months as training camps are in a full swing. If healthy, an NFL team could be a star left tackle. It’s been a nightmare road to recovery for David Bakhtiari. Fortunately, it appears he’s nearly out of the woods. David Bakhtiari became the highest-paid lineman in NFL history in 2020. The Green Bay Packers signed him to a 4-year deal, $105.5 million extension in November of that year. Just a few weeks later, David Bakhtiari suffered a torn ACL that ended his season just before Green Bay’s postseason run. Playing without David Bakhtiari has been tough for the Packers, but they have a couple of plans to replace him in 2024. Rasheed Walker played admirably as the new starting tackle this past season. Despite early-season struggles, he seemed to find his footing later in the year, particularly in the playoffs. David Bakhtiari looked ready to go in 2023, playing in the regular season opener. Sadly, an other knee surgery ended his season after just one game. The Packers released him this offseason as he continues to recovery from his latest surgery. At 32 years old, David Bakhtiari only has a few more seasons left in the tank. However, a team in need of offensive line depth could be willing to take a chance on him and his knee for 2024. The Packers are keeping competition at the offensive tackle position, however, Brian Gutekunst took a swing on Jordan Morgan with the team’s 1st-round 2024 NFL draft pick in this year’s 2024 NFL draft class. Jordan Morgan has been struggling during offseason workouts for the Packers. However, that could be part of being a rookie getting acclimated to the NFL. He could end up starting at a different position, but will continue to give Rasheed Walker some competition at left tackle heading into training camp. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

He could offer to play for the Packers at league minimum and they would not resign him. For as great as he once was with the Packers, He had a little too much Aaron Rodgers of rocking the boat with passive aggressive texts, tweets, and social media. They were more than happy cutting ties with Rodgers best bud. The Jordan Love youth movement is here.
