Hi lovely, I just found your channel you’re pretty awesome! I just lost my career and I’m so wanting to do this and live on the road… thanks for the clarity as physical fitness and healthful eating is so important to me❣️
I am new and saw your age and can relate as thinking of Van life sooner to retire in 2025 and single and 63 year old woman and been researching a lot on UA-cam and you popped up on my feed and decided to check out you travels ☺️
Thanks, Maureen! Yes, the timing for me was perfect. I couldn't have done it any sooner but I'm so happy I didn't wait until retirement to do it. I wanted to do it while I was healthy!
I sm your age (lady) and looking to go out byy New Years from Ohio. I want to go first to Quartzite and them up through Cali to Oregon. Just discovered you. I follow a lot of van lifers on UA-cam but you are my age and living my dream. I am going to be a subscriber. I am disabled and have medical reasons why I wouldn’t be able to do this. So I will live vicariously through you lol. And again you are my age and you look fantastic. Thanks for the tour, you're courageous doing it yourself out there. I'm curious about the cruise ship job. I got that idea myself a couple of years ago. I retire in a couple of years and thinking about it. Can't wait to follow that adventure. Be safe out there!
This came up in my UA-cam feed. I enjoyed your video. I really liked your candor about the good and not bad, but sometime difficult parts about being on the road. It's definitely more work than living in a home with a shower, toilet, running water, electricity, & a washer & dryer....... I find that being on the rode seeing other parts of the US & Canada is exciting and really recharges my batteries. I've met so many people along the way in my travels. I'm a part-time vanlifer, typically about 3 months a year in the Fall. I love the Fall colors. I live in the US Virgin Islands, so there's not a whole lot of road-tripping going on here!! The island I live on is 14 miles long. I can see myself doing a 50-50 split between the USVI and vanlife touring during the summer & fall. I too am 57yrs old. :@)

Hi, you came across my feed. I've started looking at van life for about 5 or 6 months now, and I didn't know that this was a thing. One thing about staying in Fl for too long. That's the development of mold from all that humidity. You get it in places you can't see...like behind your walls or in and under your mattress. Hope you have a plan for overcoming this. Have several friends who experienced this so they don't spend to much time there anymore.

And back to Minnesota for spring and summer, caught my attention right away!!! Lived in Minnesota my whole life, only small vacations out of state. I am 57, just lost my husband of 19 years unexpectedly and we talked of seeing America when our baby graduates at the end of this school year. Now I will have only his spirit with me, but still we gonna do this somehow!!! I need to get into some online remote type work, so I can support this type of lifestyle. 💜💜💜

God watch over you darling for doing this at your life and pace!!!
I comment you on you taking a leap of faith of being by yourself and maintaining your freedom
I love it. I'm almost 53 and I'm looking to get into having a van life
Oh Nice! I love finding new vanlifers closer to my age to subscribe to. Glad the YT algorithm recommended this video!
Thank you for talking about the mail, medical, rx’s, and dental concerns.
I know a lady that was from my area (2 states to the east of your home state ;) and she moved to FL and then decided to chuck that as well and now travels the beaches and such. She too is a beautiful Mature Lady and now it makes me wonder just how many of ya'all are out there doing this. Awesome channel. Enjoy! Peace
Pretty. Sweet personality. I drove for 2 years @ 59 on the road . Enjoyed all of it. Understand you totally. Alabama.
I'm from Minnesota too. This has been a very hard winter !
I'm thinking about doing trips during the winter. I want to be home to garden and explore Minnesota in the summer.
That’s exactly what I do! I’m heading back to Mn soon 😁
@@AdvanturesOver50 . Take your time . The snow's deep and it's going to be awhile before it melts . Temps are slowly moving up .
Thank you for sharing your home on wheels with us. You want for nothing, what a great build. Plenty of storage too.
I love that you can just drive off in case of emergency.
Please stay safe on your journey. 😊
Respect, thanks for the inspiration!
Now I have to binge the rest.....
I haven't watched van videos much for a while but I gotta tell you girl, you look soooooo much younger and happier than you did on the first video you did. I love it. Glad van life has been so good for you. :)
I’m 47 and want to be a van lifer so bad!! I’d be more than happy to babysit your van while you’re working the cruise ship😊!
I like looking for a community recreation center with a pool and hot tub. I get to relax and have fun and it's usually cheaper than the truck stop showers.
That's so great and sounds so nice!
Wow your gorgeous for 57 year old good luck on your journey
First-time viewer. Hot damn I love your van. Feminine, and just beautiful. Inspirational, as I get away several months out of the year. This may be a new way to go.
That’s a vantastic van! I’m impressed! I’d love to live like that, …. I did one summer, but not in something like THAT! It’s very well done. Great job! And you, are an absolutely amazing 57 …..
I WORKED AS A WELDER AND WORKED OUT OF A CAMPER FROM SEATTLED TO CAPE COD, AND ALASKA TO CALIFORNIA IT WAS❤ FUN AND EXCITING TO SEE WHERE SOME OF OUR HISTORY WAS. i WOULD DO IT STILL BUT I GOT OLDER. STILL GOING SOUTH FOR THE WINTER THOUGH. GOD BLESS THE VAN LIVE AND THE PRACTICALITY OF IT.
Sounds like your doing OK. Have fun and be safe .
It's nice to see a tour of how it really is. So many tours are of empty vans!
I’m new to UA-cam and I am thrilled to see a single woman over 50 on the road. I’m in my 60’s and fit. Watching your video gives me auto get out there! Thanks for the info you shared.
Yea, do it!!! The only regret you will have is if you don’t at least try it. I can’t imagine my life any other way now. It’s brought me really great friends and such joy! Keep me posted!

Thanks for the videos and inspiring my future van life! I'm going to be a Wisconsin snowbird.
Thanks, Jimmy! Nice! You won't regret leaving WI, especially in the winter :-)
Great motivation talk, especially for women. God Bless and thank you
And back to Minnesota for spring and summer, caught my attention right away!!! 💜💜💜
El Paso here just saw one of your videos when you were on our city always welcome
Good that you are going to different places, and you have a nice Van to travel in
I love your van and you don't look your age. I am 57 as well and I have been wanting to travel like that and live remotely.
Thank you for sharing this video 😊
Be safe!!
Beautiful beautiful beautiful you're an inspiration :) glued to the channel
Very cool, I have the same thing as in a cooler with a that very center console container thingy. I like that contact paper too. Nice job all around.

Thank you! I know! I can't believe it's still snowing SO much. Happy to stay in Florida until it's over!!!
@@AdvanturesOver50 I'm a Minnesota gal too, living in South Florida. Going to a Harvest Host location to be a weekend warrior. 🎉😊❤ PM me if you'll ne anywhere near Port St. Lucie.
Thank you for sharing your journey ….peace BC Canada
Make sure the R.V.. battery is charged (,not the chassis ) the disconnect switch is ON, the generator oil is not low , AND make sure u hold the on & off generator SWITCH for a few seconds on OFF 2 or 3 times TO PRIME IT ! BEFORE u try to turn it on . Those 4 things USUALLY make it work ! Good luck !
Great vid! Brought up a few points I hadn't thought about: Mail and prescriptions... Would never have guessed your age though. Keep doing what you're doing!
Oh my Lord! Selling my house and buying an RV soon. I really hope I'm blessed to get to say hello one day! Jim from Tennessee!
