Thank you! I just turned 58 and am divorced (twice now) from the same woman. I have little to no desire to try to please another person just to not feel lonely . I retire at the end of the year and am searching for the right vehicle to start my new adventure. I decided to start working on self care while enjoying other types of relationships. My children and friends and family are my rock. Single/Married or divorced should not be a label that defines us. I am deeply inspired by your zest for life and I enjoy watching your adVANture unfold. Thank you for sharing!
Married her twice….man that was stupid. NEVER EVER rechew your gum. I retired at 50, found I didn’t need a woman or her baggage. If I find one who has MY same interest that I can tolerate, I will let her into my life, otherwise for company - I’ll get a dog!
I am single also and very content with myself. People are always asking why I am single. So many are miserable with who they are with. I am open also for a healthy relationship that adds to my life. Thank you for your beautiful self!!
Many who have children suffer. Many also enjoy though they have to suffer to some extent bringing them up. All their problems are your problems. Life is so short, how much time have you spent your time on them by the time they grown up? So if your child is healthy and a good person, you are lucky. So being single per se need not mean it must be a bad thing
I got divorced at 23 and knew I would never marry again. I raised my daughter and have enjoyed my life. I dated off and on. Back in 2015 I tried living with someone ..... it only lasted two years. Now at 62 I am content with my life. Inner peace is worth so much. All of my friends are divorced and they don't want to remarry.
Hi Tracey. Just found your channel and agree with you 100%. I married very young (18) to a Navy man thinking I couldn't stay single and accomplish anything with no real money. I thought I could get to travel and go to school and start a business etc etc. Three children later I was trapped into family life and small attempts at school and business did not work out. Then he retired from the military and suddenly was home with me for the first time and I learned he would never be the husband I wanted. I stayed in the marriage, had two more children, and worked plus had a small business. He disappointed me many times but was a good person down deep and I could have done far worse. When I was 55 he had a massive heart attack and passed away at 58. Suddenly I was single for the first time in my adult life. My children thought I would remarry quickly but how wrong they were. I have many friends both male and female but have no desire to ever remarry. It just did not happen and I have no regrets. I have been an avid rver for many years and still a solo full timer in Florida. I'm 91 years old now, drive my motorhome and do all the necessary chores of daily life on the road or in a campground. Need more tech help now but still do whatever I can still do. I am happy and contented in my RV life and keep in touch with my children and grandchildren back home. I sell on Ebay, play with a few Stocks on Robinhood and am addicted to UA-cam channels about RVing, Reselling, Geopolitical news and the stock market. Never a dull moment and many decisions to make every day as you mentioned. Keeps my mind sharp! LOL! Just subbed to your channel. Stay happy!

On the full timers I watch aren’t able to address this because most of them are couples or families. I find your videos fill a void in the puzzle. I know realize it’s OK to just be me, and not worry about falling into the norm or stereotype that others feel I should fit. I still hope she comes along one day in my life but I’m OK right now. @@AdvanturesOver50 i’ve had a chance to watch a bunch of your videos now, although I’m not caught up yet! Lol just know that your videos are more than entertaining and more than informative. There’s a lot of UA-camrs that do those things very well. Your videos are impactful. That’s a whole different world, but I appreciate. Safe travels.
Good Morning. I loved your whole video. I’m 54 & am trying to start my own VanLife myself. I’m divorced (4 years) separated at 6 years. I was curious how anyone dated on the road. I am really looking forward to just going to places that I have always wanted too. All the historical sites. Just to finally being alone and in my own head. I’m tired of trying to figure someone out. Especially, if I don’t know who I am. Yes, some of the choices I make are part of me. When you guys started with the pop rocks, I laughed so hard that I almost fell out of my chair. Thank you for sharing. I’m glad the rooster is okay.
52 here. Been single for 10 years. I had a horrible divorce from a Narcissist. I chose to raise my child instead of dating. Now that she’s 18, I’m open to dating, but like you- I need a real man! A partnership! someone who is happy for my growth, my victories and successes!! I hear you loud and clear 👏🏻👏🏻♥️♥️
They say there are few high-quality women left. Tracey, you really and truly are a rare one. Someone is really missing out. As I start my new adventure of being single at my age I can only hope and pray I meet someone like you if that is what is supposed to happen, either way I am truly happy now, truly beautiful and God Bless
Heck yeah, sister. There's a difference between being alone, and being lonely. At least when you're alone, you can do what you want...explore your passions!
You enjoy your peace and quiet, I'm 38 and I'm already annoyed with loud music.i love music but I love peace and quiet More. thank you for sharing your perspective on dating on the go.
I was married two times, fifteen years each time. That is more than half of my life. Both of these marriages were horrendous. Full of deceit, manipulation and betrayal. I've been single for four years now. I am just now getting to know myself. Focusing on myself never again will I be held responsible for somebody else's happiness. I will often start the think I'm lonely, and then bam I will have a flashback or a nightmare. And then I'll spend the next few days feeling extremely grateful. I'm grateful I have anything left including my self-respect. It turns out I actually like myself best company I've ever had.
Well said Brian. God, I wasted 10 years trying to make myself believe I could make that bitch happy. Thank God I finally woke up and pulled the trigger on that dead horse. lol Life is good!
New subscriber here. Thank you for your insight. I am a 57 yr old artist, and I am saving for a vehicle to start my Van Life this Summer!! Safe and Fun Travels To You!!
Tracey! I've watched all your Advantures and love each of them. I appreciate your transparency and honesty so much. You are wise in your views about dating and meeting the "perfect" one...or near perfect! God willing, you'll make an exciting and loving companion one day. Love you and your Mother and looking forward to your reunion. Be safe and always know how valuable you are to so many. Your friend...Bo Baker
You are so spot on, I'm 58, and was a divorced single mom, for many years, to an abusive man. I'm so content now, to no longer walk on eggshells, and to be at peace in my life. I love living by myself...and all the freedom that entails. Society seems to imply that woman are not complete without a man, where as, I'm more complete living on my own, than I have ever been while in a relationship. I totally agree with you... stay true to yourself 😊
Oh, I can relate to knowing you don’t want to mold yourself into what someone else wants and not being willing to work so hard for someone to love you. I am 58 and newly divorced, and I did spend so many years trying to be what he wanted. I have no desire to date for a long time, and I am afraid of falling back into people pleasing in a relationship. So I am focusing on me and what I want. You sound very grounded and content… Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
There is more to life than being in a relationship, it's nice to spend your time with someone but like you it's also nice to spend time alone, especially as a van lifer. You are like a breath of fresh air, keep doing as you do.
Tracy I hear ya, you have described my life and marriages/relationships as I was more lonely in those relationships. Again, I'm 52, happy and content with my life. I might be alone but, I'm certainly not lonely as I have many people in my life who truly care about me🙂 Keep on being you and be safe on your travels home.
As a fellow 57 yo long time single adventurous woman, I so relate and appreciate what you’ve said. I’m ok being single. Too many equate being alone with being lonely. Not the same. Thanks for sharing your ad-Van-tures with us. Hope to see you on the road one day. I’m in NM and currently travel weekends and the occasional longer road trip until I retire in a few years. Hit me up if you’re ever in Northern New Mexico. Lots to explore and it’s beautiful.
I'm watching you for the 1st time, just got divorced and just turned 60 yesterday. I'm debating on getting on the road and I'm intrigued by you. I'm not a "wing clipper"! Maybe 1 day we'll meet somewhere. I wish you nothing but the best!
On the more serious side, I’ve had both types of relationships. I’ll never mold or diminish myself to be what someone wants me to be ever again. In the end, I ended up with the love of my life who loved me for me. We said until death do us part and that’s how it went. I know you’re right. If it happens organically, fine. If not, your life is good. Keep sharing your adventures. OMG!😂 I can visualize the T-shirt! All that and pop rocks! You made my evening. Thank you.
Thank you for the simple, true wisdom about love and life. You are a real Van Philosopher! Too many of us, me included, spend too much time (even at our age) chasing a some ephemeral love instead of focusing on living our very best life. This video is a great reminder ❤
It’s good to see that you have someone around, it would be cool to have you as a neighbor, my town is only rejects mostly,,, not even kidding, it would just be cool to have a person that understands things to hang out with 😎Loves Girl!
Nice comments on the ethos of being single, finding a good partner. I appreciate there was zero misandrist comments - just human issues on solving that existential conundrum of finding a good relationship. You have a good head and heart Tracy. Best! Mike
It’s always been my mindset that I don’t need a significant other to define me. It’s fantastic to be involved with someone that enhances your life but it is not where your root of happiness dwells.
Iam 60yrs old,and iam single. I just got so ,tired of being, Summoned by the dark side. Lol.well I have my puppy mollyand that's all I need for companionship
I just recently completed my 78th trip around the sun, and have been single for the last 32 years. I finally stopped all interpersonal relationships in 2014, and since then I've become very protective of my simple, single, unencumbered life. It takes a while to adjust to the loneliness of not having someone to share time with, but eventually we all adjust, and I'm fine with that. I've crossed the Atlantic 36 times, and it's a hell of a lot cheaper and more fun when you travel by yourself and have no one to ask permission of. Life is good
Stumbled upon your videos recently as I'm looking into van life a little more so I'm catching up on some of your past videos. As a single dad who's son is a freshman in college, I really connected with what you said about being lonely. When you said, "I'd rather be lonely alone than be lonely with somebody", I said yes out loud....that really resonated with where my heart is at. Thank you!
Tracy, just do what you're doing in your van life you're doing awesome you don't want a guy coming in try to tell you what to do, but you never know who going to meet or who can trust on the Dating site not what they seem to be never know who behind the computer screen be safe Tracy this is your friend Dave from Massachusetts
I'm 50, live full time in my van. I'm from upstate NY now in Arizona. And yes as a single man, especially living in my van, it can get lonely at times! But... Finding someone that is right for you is NOT as easy andike it used to be! Especially with internet now! And it's amazing, so much of what you were saying about living in apartments and now vanlife, and living by yourself and all that is so much my story as well! Thank you!
I love your little saying about lonely alone or w/s alone. My picker has always been broken. My only relationship advice ever is this " Don't be with the wrong person, when you meet the right one."
I was watching van life videos and came across your chanel and wow I just think you are them most positive, interesting, beautiful person . You have definitely inspired me. I think your great ! God bless and keep it up ❤
You should absolutely do things that make you happy 🎉 Don’t worry about what anyone thinks, you are beautiful and life is great, enjoy what you do, knock off all of that worrying shit!!!stop analyzing things and just be happy 😎😎♥️
Thank you for posting! You and I have tons in common, same age, single, happy, etc. I cannot wait to retire to join you and all the others in the nomad life. My hopes are that I will meet many new people while seeing our beautiful county. Hopefully you’ll still be on the road enjoying life. Wishing you many new great memories! --Michelle
Thanks, Michelle! Yes, lately I’ve been getting a lot of questions about dating. I’m at the point that I’m happy being single and enjoy doing anything I want without having to check with someone else😁
Very relatable. Always great conversation! Contentment is priceless, so choosing who we get close to is super important. Thanks as always for sharing your journey and adventures! ☺️
I woke up to you this morning...I guess one would call me " pre van life "..I'm in a camper..my job just got blown away by a tornado..I'm ok..so is my camper..I'm ready for a change..you made me feel good about it!thank you much!!😊..I'm Ray by the way..nice to meet you!!
Just became a new subscriber this morning...catching your video while perusing UA-cam on 'van-life' albeit I have a Class A at the moment, I've often wondered how desirable a van would be, so I will have to catch many of your previous video's when time allows! Interestingly, I ride an e-bike as well, and have over 2,000 miles on mine now, and enjoy riding it very much, albeit in residential/city limits, it can be more difficult if there are not bike lanes of course. Thanks for taking taking the time to be open with us all, and as mentioned, I'll catch your other video's one day soon. On edit: Also, just as you know, many of us are lonely whilst in our relationships, wondering what the answers are for fulfilment of happiness we once knew! Late on in life, many choose 'companionship' not marriage, with the ability to just walk away if it's not working, and I feel as we age, we should all use that sentiment of freedom.
Now where too? I am headed for an extended weekend at Aune Osborne Campground Sept 5-9 in Sault St Marie Michigan …. Just gonna lay back in the gravity chair and watch the 1000 foot freighters go by. And eat well. 😎 Have a great trip wherever you go Blessings.
In my eye, you hit a home run on this video topic. Im retired and had planned on travel in the van with my wife the powers to be decide otherwise with her passing just months from her retirement. So Im now into the van life solo and can relate to what you are talking about. I do have a home base to start my road trips from. So, having a home base. I joined three dating apps and am trying to meet someone while im at my homebase but then leave for months just doesn't work out. So now im looking to meet another van'ers. Maybe then that connection will happen. Being a seasoned male, im not about to change my ways at this stage. But being happily married for 37 years, i did learn how to treat a woman. So i have that going for me. Spent some time this winter in Arizona and did meet a couple of incredible younger women in their vans, but if i were only 30 to 40 years younger than maybe. For now, like you said, im finding peace in travelling solo but keeping my opinions open.
My philosophy is that life is to be enjoyed, not endured, so do what brings you joy, for me its being on the road too, so I completely understand your thought processes. Happy travels!
Although I’m older than you, I can relate to your life story. I was married for 22 years. Been divorced for 22 years. I have tad years alone and years dating. Last year I bought a small class A and have been wanting to hit the road ( not sure if I’m running away or running to) but I just don’t want to be living like a hobo with no purpose. I wish you well. Safe travels
I hope you find your purpose, as there truly is a lot of beauty in the world, both scenic wise, and many many wonderful people in the world to get to know, albeit not all of course would be a good match, but friendships should also be desired, as they tend to complete us in a positive manner. Best of luck!
This is my first time viewing your channel and I was nicely surprised. Contentment is a gift most people don't take advantage of . From what I could see here you're attractive funny and easy going and that combination is short supply so I wish you well!
I learned a lot from my last relationship. Enough to know that two people need to be happy when they are alone as much as when they are happy together.
I'm 57 aswell. I live in Scotland. Done plenty of tours in UK. Going to Europe Next week for first time. Your a lovely lady. I live near Glencoe Scotland. It would be nice to find someone special to share the adventures. Thanks for your insight Happy touring x
I love my peace and solitude so much! Relationships are NOT on my spectrum. People lose themselves in them all too often. I have tried them. They weren't for me. I'm open to one but that person will have to be authentically sent from heaven. People don't fulfill me, especially a man in my life. I've learned to fulfill myself. Great video Young Lady!
I'll be 63. I have the most fantastic life I've ever had in my life at the moment. I'm not wealthy, I'm on ssdi but through the veterans administration I live in a beautiful community in clearwater Florida. Everything is perfect. I can create my abstract art, my time is my time now. Only when you are at peace with yourself and know yourself, which takes time to live alone, can you then have a healthy relationship with someone (unless you get lucky). Too many people rush into marriage and don't keep their vows because they were not really ready yet, they thought love would carry them through. Anyway., I'm delighted you're happy with you're life now, its an adventure so enjoy it, with or without anyone else. Peace and love too you.
Love your relationship with John and Keith! Pop Rocks taste off - drum roll - grape wins! The mean rooster may have to go! And, there needs to be a secure roost to shut the chickens in at night for them to survive the night predators.chickens are so good to have around to eat insects.
Your story is similar to mine. My son is out of college now though and on his own. Like you, when one gets a certain age, it's not like you feel like you just need a relationship or you're going to die. If it happens it happens but I'm happy with or without someone. Door isn't closed but life can be fulfilling either way. I must say, you look good even when you just wake up in the morning. lol Safe travels wherever you go!
We should all give each other the space and freedom to be individuals. I appreciate when people tell me their negative thoughts on tattoos. They are letting me know right off the bat that they will judge me because I am different then them. They are forewarning me. Thanks for sharing.
It's better to be alone than be with the wrong person. You can always get a dog.😊 Dogs will always make you feel loved, they like to go and do everything you do. Im a firm believer in the Devine will bring the right relationship directly to you. Who knows, in your on the road adventures, you may cross paths with the perfect man.
Thank you for your inspiring life style! I'm at a cross roads with my life at this point being 59 yo! I'm looking to be able to do what your doing at this point in time! I love your outlook on life, relationships, etc! Maybe see you on the open road at some point! Be safe and safe travels!
Just got thru a breakup . We tried vanlife together and it didn’t workout. I am also from MN. I loved being on the road and moving from place to place. I bought a minivan and sold my roadtrek. If you ever do a meet up in MN would love to join and meet like minded people like you. Drive safe.
I'm just entering my 1st week of van life. 95 ford conversion and a Phatmoto all terrain motorized bike that my Chihuahua rides with me. Safe travels 🙏

I am so glad it could help, Steve! Now, go out and make that adventure! 😁💜
Don’t ever change, I’m 47 and been divorced twice because they tried to make me something I’m not. Be proud of yourself.
Completely agree. I don't get why people always think you need to have someone. Good for you!
Outstanding! I love your perspective and priorities!
Being on the road is the greatest education ever, at 65 and recently retired can’t wait to hit the road RVing 😎👌
Enjoying your videos and your personality.
Thanks, James 💜
I'm 34 and I hope that when I am over 50 I have a life on the road and seeing different places. You are an inspiration
Thank you! ❤️❤️
Tracey, you have a lovely spirit and I love seeing you happy. Just keep being you.
Thanks, Glenn!
Oh for heaven’s sake. Your closing statement always tears me up. LOL! More power to you and YOUR adventures.
Fabulous outlook on your life, great spirit and soul, continue doing what your happy 😊 with, totally with you.
Thanks, Eddie!
Thank you.
Hahahaha! Thanks! 💜
Thank you for the simple, true wisdom about love and life. You are a real Van Philosopher! Too many of us, me included, spend too much time (even at our age) chasing a some ephemeral love instead of focusing on living our very best life. This video is a great reminder ❤
I really do like the way you phrased that thought about 'having one's wings clipped'. Your whole perspective on geting entangled is refreshing!
It’s good to see that you have someone around, it would be cool to have you as a neighbor, my town is only rejects mostly,,, not even kidding, it would just be cool to have a person that understands things to hang out with 😎Loves Girl!
What a joy you are .
Looks like so much fun. I'd love an adventure like that 😊
Nice comments on the ethos of being single, finding a good partner.
I’m a 63 year old artist and appreciate your honesty. I’m planning to move into my van within the next year or so. Where’s home?
I just recently completed my 78th trip around the sun, and have been single for the last 32 years. I finally stopped all interpersonal relationships in 2014, and since then I've become very protective of my simple, single, unencumbered life. It takes a while to adjust to the loneliness of not having someone to share time with, but eventually we all adjust, and I'm fine with that. I've crossed the Atlantic 36 times, and it's a hell of a lot cheaper and more fun when you travel by yourself and have no one to ask permission of. Life is good
Tracy. Very nice area your visiting at that time. Keep up your adventure. 😀
So straight forward and wholesome and …. honest and present …. and love your hair … it expresses your nature and freedom 🌟
Thank you!
Women could also judge you ugh
Fantastic video. I was nodding my head in agreement throughout!
Just found your channel I'm enjoying listening to your stories and your travels. If your ever in Buckhannon Wv don't be a stranger 😊
Very brave, however so honest of you. Yup, I get it. “When it’s time, it’s time” . Safe travels and exploration.
Maria i am inspired your way of life i have also a mini van and i had convert it to camping van
Hello from Bloomington MN! Just came across your channel. ;)
"Lonely and with someone" vs "Lonely and alone"....Thank you for sharing. Have a Blessed evening. C
Now where too? I am headed for an extended weekend at Aune Osborne Campground Sept 5-9 in Sault St Marie Michigan …. Just gonna lay back in the gravity chair and watch the 1000 foot freighters go by. And eat well. 😎
Have a great trip wherever you go
Blessings.
Cheers Dove! You being you is not such a shock. Keep safe and dinner is one thing we should do in Calgary Alberta.
Your channel is going to blow up, you are special. Thanks
❤️
Great message❤ Pop Rocks were notorious for sticking to hand. Lol
Community is so important! I love tattoos and also have a nose ring, variety is the spice of life!
I have been watching your video. You are a wonderful person. Be blessed.
Love your relationship with John and Keith! Pop Rocks taste off - drum roll - grape wins! The mean rooster may have to go! And, there needs to be a secure roost to shut the chickens in at night for them to survive the night predators.chickens are so good to have around to eat insects.
like your video:) You so down to earth, honest and amazing personality. Hugs from Denmark..
Hello Dennis from Denmark!!!!!! 🇩🇰
Oh wow I use to love the pop rocks. I didn't think anyone still sold those.
You can always get a dog.😊
Dogs will always make you feel loved, they like to go and do everything you do.
Im a firm believer in the Devine will bring the right relationship directly to you. Who knows, in your on the road adventures, you may cross paths with the perfect man.
Great life lessons' blessings' safety' and best of health to you always.🙏
Thank you for your inspiring life style! I'm at a cross roads with my life at this point being 59 yo! I'm looking to be able to do what your doing at this point in time! I love your outlook on life, relationships, etc! Maybe see you on the open road at some point! Be safe and safe travels!
WTF.....I am not alone....lol The world has changed so quickly in my lifetime. I admire your courage, young lady. Stay safe ❤
Just got thru a breakup . We tried vanlife together and it didn’t workout. I am also from MN. I loved being on the road and moving from place to place. I bought a minivan and sold my roadtrek. If you ever do a meet up in MN would love to join and meet like minded people like you. Drive safe.
Friendship is the treasure. Subscribed. Looking to learn more bout vanlife.
I'm just entering my 1st week of van life. 95 ford conversion and a Phatmoto all terrain motorized bike that my Chihuahua rides with me. Safe travels 🙏
New subscriber here, such a nice channel and show, I'm 65, lost my wife of 40 years 3 years ago, don't think I want to try again, just bought a decent used RV, also am a retired over the road truck driver, time to meet new friends and make me happy
Pure Beauty ❣️🤗 Thanks
I know this is an older video, but I can relate to so much of what you said. I'm going through a third divorce and learning so much about myself. I'm finally diving into who I am and am ready to embrace it.
Safe travels Tracy😊 can’t wait to see the Tracy & Joy show! Hope you’re mom is doing well. 🌺
I think this is an awesome life your making. ❤
Puppy 🐕 cuteness & fun at end of video - loved it ..... Admiration for all you endeavor & with endearments in Van life. Plus added real good friends you made (John & Keith) & maybe some more on your road route back to Minnesota. **Also maybe you'll be on a ship sometime in the near sharing your craft of skill! 🙌🙏👌. ☮️✌️
Great video.....Feel the same way. Safe travels pretty lady!
Hearing anything on the love boat? 😂❤ Tracey you got a great personality and way too good looking 👀 to be just friends because what happens is your going to have too many drinks or you will try some stuff at the fun store and there goes the friendship?? 🎉😮😂 Safe travels!!
Nice video Ad van tures, I am a first timer in your channel. I myself am 59, I lived 25 years in US, how is my second home country doing these days, you are a very beautiful girl, we are both still young, trust me, van life is okay, rgs❤
Hi fellow 57 yr older 😁
I'm captivated listening to your every word for some reason - how chilled are you!
I'm single and happy to be, but I'd jump at the idea of meeting you.
I have a lifestyle property in New Zealand so I guess that's not going to happen in a hurry lol
I like you a lot - i will be a regular watcher from down under ❤
