I’ve never been on one before
There was random crying and a view of her hoarding stuff filled apartment. Also, she was secretly a smoker. I could deal with the emotional swings and hoarding for one night. But, I can't do a smoker.
A girl flew from Virginia to Oregon to see me, and didn't tell me beforehand. And I was seeing somebody else. The dinner with the 3 of us at Outback was quite awkward...
Went to a show in a small auditorium. Had 1 beer. Got light headed. Passed out. We went home.

I actually kind of get where Michael’s coming from, he wants to start a family, and she’s already had one, so there at different points in their life… But he went about ending it in the worst way possible
The issue is that he already knew all of that about her long before they ever got together. He never should have started the relationship, he knew she was 20+ years older than Pam.

😂 Unfortunately that's the magic of Michael Scott. His good (or pathetic) side sometimes makes us forget he has a bad side, and how he broke up with Pam's mom was definitely his bad side showing up in all its horrible glory.

Tbf, Pam’s frustration wasn’t really out of concern that Michael would hurt her mom. It was the grossness of it.

Michael dates Pam's mom, you all are against it. Michael breaks up with her mom giving you exactly what you want, you all are against it. Did you miss the part where they were super impressed with how much effort Michael put into her birthday? All the comments before were about how terrible Michael is with women and treats the poorly. It was tactful to do it at the table, but he literally gave you EXACTLY what you wanted. That's on you
@@IDiggPattyMayonnaise Oh, don't pretend Michael broke up with her to appease Pam's wishes. He did it because he freaked out about Helene's age, something he was somehow completely clueless about after dating her for weeks. And this is exactly why Pam didn't want him to date her mom; she KNOWS him. She knows he's impulsive, immature, tactless, and indecisive enough to dump someone so cruelly over something so shallow.

In Michael's defense, there's a huge difference in thinking about wanting kids and realizing you could become a "grandpa' before that happens (if ever). Yes, it was the worst possible timing, but he's not the type to think long before doing something. Also, he's thinking he's got maybe at least 20 years before he retires, and she has 7! I feel bad for Pam's mom the most.

Michael should not have broken up with her on her birthday, but he wants to have his own kids. There wasn't going to be any in that relationship.
See the blowback (Pam's hand) would be slightly less bad if he wasn't impulsively jumping into relationships without thinking long-term. Or maybe find a better reason to break with the woman other than "it's because you're barren."
Yeah but in typical Michael fashion, he didn't think ahead when pursuing the relationship, and then when he realizes his mistake (his girlfriend's age) he immediately decides to break up with her and does it in the worst possible way. Also of course when it comes to having kids it's not something to compromise on in a relationship, but also given Pam's age, it was very likely that her mom wasn't going to want a kid at that point, biology aside.
my issue is that's michael's fault he should know given how old pam is, that her mom was never going to be able to give him children, but he somehow thought she was younger lol
