I grew up watching Tom Dugan vids. Definitely my fav rider and his personality really connected with mine and allowed me to act how I felt around people. Dude was monumental in my childhood and it was so sick to be at house park and see him pull up. Super chill dude.
I hope Tom reads this. He said he was worried of what people would think of him after this. Always been a fan of his riding. And I think these sorts of things make you more relatable. I legit laughed so many times. Awesome. Young and dumb Bmx life. Love it.
Don’t know if Iv dropped a comment for this cast? It gets to a stresspoint I’m my to bring me back to this and it definitely helps change my mindset. Dude Tom is brutal! It helps me so much and 10yr time I’ll still hit this up a couple times that year and I’ll be fixing up staying sharp. Always remembering to check for typos, making my directions significantly worth going down. There’s a couple homies you’ve had on here which are inspiring enough to spend hours with and the outcomes always benefiting. Thanks Tom and all at our
Man tom dugan was such an inspiration for my personality and riding. My friend bought a 2014 tom dugan complete all red it was the best thing at the time and i bought his old bike which made me start riding properly. Havnt lost any teeth but a few concusions later i always new you were joking around even in the workout vids 😂 mad respect to you and every ome else for shaping and holding down all this time
Love this ep, Dugan is such a character! Side note, someone I'd really like to see on the podcast is Stevie Churchill as I feel like he's become a bit of an enigma in the last 5 years.
Awesome episode. Wheres the link to buy shirts and coffee mugs ? It's not selling out 😅 Selling direct to consumer is the future !!! Dope Logos and some cool actual photos Fudger n yalla taken and BOOM ❤ Let's Go
DEAR FUDGER! Thank you for providing an incredibly adult viewpoint on cops. We're all just people out here and that is an incredible thing to recognize, I know and have met several totally dope officers and thanks for giving (unfortunately a unique) perspective on what cops deal with every day. JUST BE NICE, KIDS. That could be your classmates father, or your friend's fun-ass neighbor or whatever.
I try. I've had my own very negative experiences with cops, but also had lots of situations that would have been much worse if the cop wasn't a relatable human.
@@OurBMX I worked at a sketchy motel in my hometown for six months during a difficult financial time and was dealing with the police 3/5 days of the week minimum. Attempted suicides, successful suicides, drug dens, abused children, weapons, human trafficking, prostitution, etc. any crazy drama you can think of, it happened there. Even sent an old classmate to prison on accident because he broke into a room with the wrong people doing the wrong shit with a warrant (didn’t know it was him until I saw him in handcuffs). Seriously wouldn’t have made it through that place if I didn’t have the ability to call and rely on local PD, totally changed my outlook on cops. Just recently at that motel, someone spun around in circles in their room hearing meth voices and emptied their 9mm through the walls in every direction lol.
another good one, Tom is like FIT 's top rider now. i know he has his own channel but a Scotty Cranmer interview he changed bmx. i believe he would be a great interview
So my old apartment in SD had this alley behind it. There was a parking block and then an overhang above a window a bit further down the alley. I used to sit out there wanting to hop onto it or wonder if it was even possible. Then years later Dugan pulls it. I was mind blown
This is crazy because I just brought up the trail nazi video the other day. Any chance someone knows where it's at? I search Vimeo and no luck. Great show dudes! Love that this podcast is a thing.
I've ridden most of my bmx life by myself, it's good for a lot of things, but it's tough for me to "push" myself when I'm alone, I'm way more likely to try new stuff when I'm with people..
Swoop the dang lol. But Joe is seriously the nicest dude ever, I was in Austin alone on vacation for a few days, knocked up and we caught up but having Joe say he likes your style is definitely a “fuck yeah” moment. Great dude.
Someone please get this comment to Tom Dugan on 0.5 speed and make some sound blacked out drunk it's one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time or turn him on 1.52 to listen to coked-up Tom Dugan I go really crazy and go 2.0 I'm here Tom Dugan on speed
anyone got some links to his early youtube stuff ? I did 2 google searches already, and clicked like 4 links, that's already driving me insane that I cannot find it
I remember Dugan as a counselor at Woodward. And it was funny when people would be like “who is this shit talking kid?” And is staff just laughed. Always loved watching him ride in the demos.
also whoever asked about the toilet paper thing has Tom mixed up with Zack Gerber. Correct me if I’m wrong but he had the how to video on using one sheet to wipe.
30:30 Dugan talks about pulling out a knife. I keep a sharpened shovel in my car. When anyone fucks with me at a spot or tries to fight/road rage I just pull it out. You wanna really scare the frak out of someone, a shovel beats a gun or blade hands down. They have no idea how you plan to use it.
@@claydoggsbikes8230 he took his fkn channel down on UA-cam for a reason, I said the platform it’s on, fkn use google! Maybe Tom wants to distance him self from the original content! Maybe you should respect my respect for that

Haha, glass half full outlook! I do try to drop 'em every other Monday at 10am PST, but other stuff gets in the way.
Um, can't pin down riders on the regular like that!
Always surprised haha

True
These interviews are the best thing happening in BMX. Getting to know the pro riders personality and stories is awesome.
Such a good point about bmx being a lonely sport. 15 years riding and maybe two years spent riding with another human. Rest of it was all on my own
Can relate
That’s how u really get good tho !
20 some years later and I still hang out with the handful of guys I ride with.

Great to have a Tom Dugan in the sport.
Tom Dugan always was one of my favorites. first bike I built I basically just copied his setup. Dope interview, didn't know I needed it!
Thanks y'alls, another great chance to hear the perspective of a rider I think rips. Fudger, you rock man, keep doing what you do!!!!
Tom's perspective is awesome! This was a great watch/listen. Please interview the OG Chase Hawk when possible. As always good work!

Bit late, but being a cop is a very, very hard job. That's why I think they should be paid and trained more.
Hope you can get ryan guetler one of this days. Think he has a lot to share specially about mental health.
