Four hours went by damn quick. Let me know your guys' opinion on doing an occasional out-of-studio episode with someone otherwise unobtainable. Oh, and sorry for a bit of an echo at points...the audio tracks wouldn't sync properly over the course of the four hours. Technology, eh?
If doing interviews on the road is the only way to talk with some people then that's how it has to be. if you would stick to 'only in studio' interviews, we wouldn't had that one which is awesome!
Honestly like this more than the studio. Please keep this travel format going and get more heavy hitters! “500 bucks?! Bring me the fuxking Ferrari” 😂😂
I enjoyed this and I think doing one on one podcasts like this will not deter anyone from watching going forward. Like if traveling/last minute conversations are the only option, 100% send it.
I really enjoyed this interview. I am also glad it was at the time in his career where he is 0 fucks given. The romantic twilight of an amazing BMX competitor. I think if you did this 4 years ago it would have been a much different interview. This interview is not much different than in your home studio. with the purpose built set you have just the same amount of audio glitches. I think if we can get you a 6 pack of Dales and you can get a interview on you down time I am all in with this new format. I am sure that you have more opportunities on the road than in SD for a good podcast.
Watched 4 times already. Absolutely love what Dhers has to say. What a guy 👏 so much in depth BMX perspective. Had such a good time with this guy at BMX masters in cologne 2008 🤟
Exact words when Daniel showed up at Jaycee that day for the first time… “Who the fuck is this guy?!” He was ahead of the times with his tricks and style 😊
To have to return the clothes is INSANE. I wonder how many projects got started that never actually got finished. Not the LEFT crank arm and no spindle LOL
Dhers may be connected to an unfortunate turn in the entire direction of park contest riding, but it just goes to show his success and massive influence. He innovated tricks and came up with strategies to maximize 60 seconds on a course. It’s unfortunate to see the state of these big Olympic events but he was only the kindling and ultimately it’s grown the industry and all the while he’s been a cool dude who really cares about BMX.
We need Scotty Cranmer on the podcast!! Surprised he hasn't been on. maybe distance is a huge factor but like I see him as the face of bmx at least after 2016.. he has more passion for the sport even off the bike than I can see in most riders today. He should start his own podcast but the market for bmx podcast is pretty much filled with this one I guess. Ask for him to come on again if you have already!!!
It's almost happened a couple times over the years...the most recent 'almost' was a bit too close to all the Big Boy/Trey drama and Scotty just didn't want to see all the comments about why we didn't discuss it, etc. But yes, a damn good reminder. I will send Scotty and the Monster TM a text tomorrow about making it happen. Thank you!

As long as you can perfect the audio to studio quality.
Run it! I would love to hear from riders in unobtainable locations, this is a sick idea🤘
Great idea, You should do it for sure
For me was awesome!
