I restored my 348 to concourse . It was a fabulous car with no power. So sad . If I had it now I'd do the following .
1- HC pistons and cams .
    2. Gas flow head
    3. Get new crown wheel and pinion cut to give her longer gears .

It's not a GTS, it's a Spider. The GTS is the Targa top. The 'G' at the beginning of GTS also denotes its the updated model of which very few were ever made. All Spiders were the updated model.

Nice review. I enjoy so much too, with this car. These is a gorgeous Ferrari, low units built and the first modern Ferrari being last Enzo era Ferrari.
Head turning for people with 50, I have seen hands on heads for people with 18, that even doesn't know the model.

Great video. I've never driven a Ferrari 348 but I did hire a 355(which replaced the 348 at the end of 1994) for a weekend trip to Dorset and loved it. The key differences are the engine which increased in size from 3.4 to 3.5 litres, the adoption of a 5 valve cylinder head which gave 375hp at an amazing 8250 rpm and updated styling which is just that bit prettier. The suspension was also re-worked giving a more comfortable ride and more forgiving handling on the limit and it was generally easier to drive with the option of power steering and a slicker gear change which was the best I've experienced in any car and a lighter clutch. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the steering, now power assisted but rather lifeless and lacking in feel. I did consider buying one as they weren't megga money back in the day but was put off by potentially high running costs which was a particular concern as was around the time I started to get into track days.

I have owned a 348TS 1993 for the last 15 years. It's not you, second gear is a pig for the first 3 or 4 miles. Go from first to third for the first few miles, then its OK. The weather is standard when you take out a 348, Rain within half an hour.😂😂

As a 93 model that will have had all issues that plagued the earlier cars fixed.

Nice one mate. A down to earth and enjoyable video presentation of a Ferrari with an awesome soundtrack! Does it get any better? 😎👍

I have only driven a California it felt like I was driving a van on the track (but I did not mind that) I am not that experienced with fast cars I drive an Aygo and in almost 30 years driving never had a car that would do over 120. A Mercedes SL of that era may have had an airbag but Ferrari was possibly not at the edge of tech. I always like the look of the 348 and 308 even if they don't drive like a NSX of the era or even a modern golf I would not care about that
