which is the best Elvis era? comment below
Besides his starting years in the 50s, which was fabulous and new, the years 68-73 were great! Voice was mature and his choice of material changed greatly. He wasn't singing to little teeny boppers anymore, but grown women who had grown up with him. He chose songs that had meaning and seemed to reflect his mood and state of mind he was in at any given time. His gospel music is exquisite, and in fact the only 3 Grammys he received were for his gospel records. The saddest album he made was 1976s From Elvis Presley Blvd. Tho his vocals were still so rich and strong, you could hear the desolation and sorrow in his voice and choice of material. Moody Blue, his last had a happier tone. I have loved his music and the man himself since I was a little girl. I was blessed to have saw him twice in concert. Wish I had instant recall for those memories. ✌️❤️😊
I love them all equally ☮️💜
You cut out the I'm a napalm bomb part
@@joannedungan8381 YEAAA lol funny you mention it. i had made a comment bout it but copyright 🤷♂️
1968-74. Elvis at his best.
I Loved Elvis throughout his career! He had it all!
Loved Elvis 1956 until his death every single year. He only got better
Elvis Presley the King of music forever,,, Elvis Presley the best singer all times... artist of the millenium
Elvis was the best❤
If you could understand the enormity of this concert. This was the first live broadcast ever via satellite. A new era and they chose Elvis to take the world into it
Elvis Presley still the King of Rock and Roll
Elvis had the best band, orchestra, gospel quartet, and female backing of any artist in history. Hand picked by the greatest performer.
Elvis did not pick out his band. James Burton did that
@@cptathensjohnclaba8705 Elvis picked Burton too.
@@cut1986 yes he did, but he didn’t pick the rest of the band. Burton did that so your initial statement is still 100% inaccurate
This 73 performance was the best graceful show of all. His earlier years were fast and furious but by this time he slowed down but kept the charisma and power as part of his show. He never looked or sounded better. IMO
❤ the 👑of music ❤💯 The GOAT. thanks again for sharing God bless you Young,👍☝🎅🌹🙏 amen.
You put it on silence just when Elvis WAS ABOUT to take it to a different level. You left out the BEST PART
yep copyright
@@FortWorthFabian good to see you respond to comments still with nearly 10,000 subs. Most reactors stop after they get a few thousand subs. I imagine it would be difficult to keep up with that many comments. The fans appreciate feedbacks..keep doing your thing bro (you're really good at what you do) Check out KENTUCKY RAIN if you haven't as yet..or "DONT STOP LOVING ME" both by Elvis.
Copyright had absolutely nothing to do with it. It was lousy timing, then not making the small effort to go back a few seconds to catch what was missed.
yes i agree -- u didnt play the complete video
@@johnbattles1002 Yes, you can avoid copyright stuff with fewer interruptions, and at least replaying the previous 5-10 seconds.
Ohhhhh that smile💞💞💞💞💞
I like all years of elvis .but im with u .I love early elvis .the best.
my favorite Elvis, 68-73 after aloha it was all down hill...(mentally and physically) Just visited Graceland last week-my fourth time there, every-time I go, I feel closer to him, did the ultimate VIP tour-worth every penny.
o wow cool
No it wasn't , he still gave some great performances!! You obviously haven't seen them.
Even when his health was failing, his performances were so powerful. Check out Unchained Melody & How Great Thou Art from his final concert just 6 weeks before his death.
I am probably in the minority here but I loved every era of his career. From the first time I heard him when he was 19 until his last
recordings when he was 42 . His voice always pulled me into his songs.....always.🌻❤
My man Elvis beautiful inside and out. This was the first worldwide satellite broadcast
1968-1973 was an incredible period for Elvis. He was at the top of his game. The 1973 Aloha from Hawaii, was the first live concert to be seen Worldwide and was seen by more people than the landing on the moon He also gained a new generation of fans.Moms took their children ,particularly daughters to see him
I love this
He didn't do any concerts in the early 60's. It was all movies.
He also didn't drink alcohol.
My favorite time was 69-73
dope 😎
68-73 was best imo
@@jancril7505 That's what I meant thanks. I of course wanted to include the 68 Comeback Special.
@@richardeidemiller6739 😁
I Say The 67-71 Era Was My Favorite Some Of His Best Work Is From That Period
Love this.
‘73 Elvis was polished to a shine.
The Aloha Elvis is my favorite. He had the best musicians and backup singers in the biz. He and Ali were the two most famous people on the planet in this era. Great review!
I saw the Sweet Inspirations at a NCO club in Germany. Great show and wonderful singers. Was fortunate enough to see Elvis a year before he passed. Thrill of my life
Different times in my life i love Different elvis....seems like there is a season for all elvis's
Great song , great lyrics by the one and only , it's water he drink , Elvis didn't drink alcohol , in every song he sings you have to listen to the LYRICS , this one is fantastic . IN this concert he had the Sweet Inspitatoins and DJ Sumner and The Stamps as vocals .
Sweet Inspirations.
As a professional Elvis started in July of 1954 when he was 19 and a half.
👌 👌
The Goat did another great performance a great bluesy song What now my love same concert is awesome from 56 to 1970 because he could still really move in 1970 I'm like you though I love Elvis from the start to the end he never lost his unique talent humour and incredible smile thank you Fabian Marvin Gaye What's going on plus Jackie Wilson Reet petite are 2 great songs also stay safe 😷✌👍💖 oh yes Elvis had the Sweet Inspirations JD Summers and The Stamps quartet as his back up singers who were probably the best at that time plus he had the best musicians in the world backing up also at that time had to be the best to be with Elvis what talent he had ☺
You cut out the best part when he was screaming the blues toward the end
Amen
yep copyright
Let me see you do his karate moves.Yes indeed he was very flexible ...doubke jointed .He was outrageously gorgeous and talented.
No entertainer had back-up singers like Elvis did.
The Sweet Inspirations sang with him, Aretha, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan...you name it, the Sweet Inspirations sang on it.
Elvis
I love your reactions man especially Elvis reactions you are the best in my opinion
Elvis only performed this song on stage, no studio version and while he did perform in multiple concerts this was the only professionally filmed performance. Also, Elvis never actually drank alcohol, he drank Gatorade on stage. As for when he started, he actually started in 1954, my favorite time period of Elvis was 1970, top of his game and before the prescription medication abuse started to take any toll.
Elvis 1956 was when Elvis started on Ed Sullivan & movies
THIS 1973 ELVIS STARTED SINGING IN
1953.... THIS IS FIRST
MUSIC CONCERT THAT WENT VIA SATELITE TO ALOT
OF COUNTRIES. HE RAISED ALOT OF MONEY FOR CANCER. AND SANG OUTSIDE TO TO RAISE MONEY TO HELP FINISH MEMORIAL FOR PEARL HARBOR. DO AMERICAN TRILOGY. 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Loved this.
I saw Elvis several times I work for Jim Pagnol productions I was very blessed saw him maybe 14 or 15 times and I can tell you right now he called up the agent for the Sweet inspirations who just came off a big hit with a song called “sweet inspiration “and said I want them to be my back up singers and sign an exclusive contract and they said hell yeah!
the coolest Elvis was 56, no question.
1968-1973 wow
Congratulations. Again, you left out the best part of the song. You seem to have a special skill at that. Fact is fact, not bs !
The reason Elvis did not move here is because this was a live satellite show. The satellite feed was on for one hour.....No more...that is what NBC had rented it for......one hour...In that one hour, the concert took place and was beamed around the world. If Elvis moved around, pulled a muscle, ripped his suit....it would have been a disaster.....because he would not have had time to change.....unlike a live concert in some auditorium were he could have gone back stage and changed. This is why he was pretty much stationary. Just a few months earlier than this he did his historic shows at Madison Square Garden....and there he was moving around and dancing quite well.
He can roll all over me ANY TIME God damn son 😣😩
It was water. He also drank Gatorade. It wasn't the late 50s it was the mid-50s when he started, 1954. He also didn't move in this concert that much because he wanted to put emphasis on his vocals.
I love this & concerts. All his concerts. Over a billion people was watching. He possibly toned it down for that.
Hi Fabian,
I absolutely love 😍 this song. Elvis is so sexy singing this. Sooooooo exciting. Thanks Fabian xxx 💝
Best era for Mr Elvis was the 1950's, the sixties and here in 1973...the GOAT...just like his good friend Muhammad Ali...the greatest of all times!
Killin me with the pauses
Sounds like you haven’t watched his love me tender live in Vegas. He kisses a lot
Of girls.
Elvis is the only artist that I know of that is in three halls of fame - Rock - Country - Gospel
Elvis didn’t drink alcohol. He drank water or Gatorade when performing.
Elvis didn’t drink alcohol he had always bottled water with him his favorite was Avían I think. His blues were awesome Reconsider Baby R&B version is another good one. My favorite was 60 to 70
1956 is when he was getting big
He didn't drink, he always had water on stage and off, other than that it was come or Pepsi.
Gatorade baby. We all know he took his pills but he wasn't really a drinker.
Elvis never drinked
Elvis is the only person in 5 Halls of Fame: Blues, Country, Gospel, Rock and Rockabilly....
He is actually in 23 halls of fame. Inimitable!!❤️
@@jennyjorgensen9935 Can you name them?
Best Elvis era: 1968-1973. However you can find great performances all the way to June of 1977.
You can not give an '' unlike '' to this unless you got a serious problem, man...
Elvis did 2 sometimes 3 shows a night. Anywhere from 20 to 25 songs per show. For 5 weeks straight. To do this superhuman schedule he would take sleeping pills to fall asleep and uppers to wake up. Before each show before going on stage he’d get a shot of amphetamines. Given all of that, I will always be an Elvis fan his talent was through the roof and he always gave his fans his best. Ultimately, I think he worked himself to death.
Elvis NEVER did three shows a night that is hogwash
@@cptathensjohnclaba8705 I suggest you investigate further.
You cut out the last part of the song. Having said that I liked all eras. Pigeonholing parts of Elvis's career is distracting from the whole. He moved plenty in this time; refer to Suspicious Minds 70, and he moved in other parts of this concert. Be aware that this show suit was encrusted with real gems and weighed at least 75 lbs
He had definite impact at least 40 years later, one of back female was related to Whitney Houston
Please react to "Elvis Presley And Johnny Bragg". It's a long story but worth every second.
Elvis drank water on stage,,ONLY
He did drink Gatorade sometimes, too.
I like these just as well as any. Maybe better
Yes he said cement mixer
Yeah backing singers sweet inspirations one of which was Whitney Houston’s Mom
Checkout Reconsider baby by Elvis with Boots Randolph on the saxophone great blues tune. done in 1960 or so.
The things around his neck is what all the girls wanted to get lay 😎🎤
Great reaction, but you have a habit of playing a song's build-up, then cutting the climax! 🙄😃 My favorite era is early Elvis 1954-60, followed very, very closely by 1968-73.
Water
Ed Sullivan. 1956
It was just part of routine
You cut the video in the middle!!! Why?!?!?!?!!@😢
those are Hawaiian leighs, this was from the worldwide Aloha Hawaii worldwide satellite special
Leis
You interupt very often, i know copyright!
But why is it that some only speak a few words whithout any interruptions?
And some don't say a word during the whole video!
Just asking!
He did not drink
You missed the best part of the song.
Hey man! You cut out the last 2 verses!!
Just so you know, Elvis did not drink
I agree he had the best backup singers ever. IMO Lisa Fischer’s stint with The Rolling Stones would be second.
Elvis never drank...it was water.
Elvis did not drink alcohol
A cement mixer
Elvis doesn't drink Alcohol.
Elvis was very nimble lol he just didnt do it as much ....his outfits weighed up to 20lbs so that in itself wud make u sweat...he was athletic from a young age...good at football..he swam...rode horses...karate expert...very fit but obviously as anyone gets older their body changes...he stayed very slender yet muscular most of his life...it was only the last 2-3 yrs he started to put on weight and as a slender figure it is ALWAYS more noticeable...even a few pounds shows up...a larger person can absorb it an its hardly noticed...Elvis did his moves but also by this time he was doing so many performances every day and night it wouldve been impossible to do all the moves at every concert...would b like running a marathon every day!! Cant do that ..he still gave his all & it killed him in the end. He played racket ball and another sport the night before he died...so he wasnt the total slob who couldnt move some like to say he'd become...he was very ill & very tired...but noone gave a toss...kept him on that treadmill to make money for everyone.
He never drank btw.
His jumpsuits averaged 50 pounds. The one he is wearing for this special weighed 70 lbs.
He didn't drink anything but water. He was addicted to pils
Yes they really did randomly pick girls out for him to kiss. And yes he probably had the same thoughts you did. 👀💁🏻♀️
68-73 best era to me.
You want to see him kissing women check this concert video. "Elvis Presley - "Love Me Tender" (Live 1970)" on UA-cam
ua-cam.com/video/BeTurYZuY4A/v-deo.html
Drinking same as you water.
Elvis didn't like alcohol. Some of his relatives were alcoholics.
"I'm a cement mixer."
Not "I'm a semen mixer".
Nope…..most likely water.
You ask us to put in the comments the answers of the questions that you have while watching the video, but man, you pause way way too much that we’re forgetting what the questions were because of your constant pausing and yapping
You should lessen your pauses, it becomes annoying to watch.
Yep!
That’s called a lay so basically Elvis got laid LOL as he gave a kiss to a female fan which she does it all the time Elvis is RSL blasphemous but he is my God he’s the best thing are the best entertainers the best of the best ever
The best part of the song you silenced and spoke. Why didn't you pause it and then continued playing from where you had paused it. The best part of the song was silenced. This reaction is unfair...
You missed the high notes dude..you ramble a little..check out the song, the performance etc. Half the cut is missing. Can't grade you well because of these errors
😂
you talk to much bro missed most of the song but love your enthusiasim
You skipped the best part of the song!!!!
you stopped at the best part. too many pauses and you ruined the video, one couldn't even watch it.
