Ah, the two characters before and after the Races are known as Stadtler and Waldorf.
They actsully have some amazing shade, I'm sure there is some supercut on here of them from the shows/movies.
Worth a watch if so.
I love the idea of two senior characters cracking bad jokes at the "kids", if it's anything like this game I'll love the movies

@BlooTeg only sad from me and no mention of how many videos i commented on for you to do this. Im glad you enjoyed the game. Imagine being 5 and trying to learn how to unlock stuff in this game. Honestly the gripe of the one task at a time may have been intentional to encourage more exploration and to help younger minds stay focused on a task.

The Muppets were in sesame street in Brazil. The Muppet show used to run Saturday mornings in the mgm channel. Very few kids watched that channel because not only was it part of the premium cable channel packages, but also most of that channel was old movies from the 60s and 70s.
Jim Henson Company is a classic and iconic thing,
and Sesame Street was part of it, but the Muppets was it's main, and they do cross paths.
(like in films or episode's specials or cameos or Easter eggs)
One is for kids and parents, the other show was kinda was for older teens and Adults.

The Best Kart in the game is Zoot's Supercharger. And the Worst Kart is Bunsen's Hovercraft. They have the Best and Worst Stats in the game. There were 3 vehicles that had middle stats, they were Rowlf's Bulldozer, Sam's Plane, and I don't remember the third one.
i think the other one is the Swedish Chef's Hotdog.
Although iknew that Supercharger is the best kart, i always use Floyd's Sporster is also very good (and his race its the hardest one)
I see that you're covering my childhood game, I played this game so much that my copy is loaded with scratches, and I'm surprised that it still plays, and it does. I think some of the "cutscenes" don't play right anymore though.
I guess I'm one of those grumpy old men because not only did I watch the Muppet Show but I also played this game on my PS1. Granted my memory is super hazy, all I remember is that the game had frustrating cart handling and that I enjoyed the music - I was a music guy since an early age. Speaking of the handling, I think the issue was with the game modes which required precise controls, meanwhile the actual controls were floaty and somewhat overly responsive.

I don't think any child with half capacity brain would be interested in the Muppets after 8yo, so you didn't miss much or anything at all.
Sesame Street had cool artistic sections or guest artists, Loretta didn't have squall.

Haven't played it, but I can't wait for them to show up in Disney Speedstorm. Kermit & Miss Piggy have apparently showed up in the datamine. Miss Piggy is going to be one of my mains 😂. Tbh, it would be cool if there was a possibility for the developers of Disney Speedstorm to bring over some of the tracks from Muppets Racemania. It would be neat to see them fully remade from the ground up.

@BlooTeg I think it would be crazy if they started adding characters from Fox since Disney owns the company now lol. Family Guy, American Dad, and King of the Hill aren't kid friendly, but I can see The Simpsons showing up. Hopefully they think of adding Marvel characters into the game. Spider-Man would probably bring in way more players. Would love to play as him & Bart.
Ok, I was not expecting Michael Giacchino as creator of the OST in this game.

How about Walt Disney Magical Racing Tour? This game came out in 2000 for the PS1, (a year after Crash Team Racing was released in 1999) and there's 3 characters to unlock, so I bet you'll do a review on this one because this one takes 105% to complete 😉

I played the hell out of this and do not remember the time limit on adventure mode, nor do I remember the blinking "special move" for characters specials. It has been years admittedly
time to play it again!
The special move message was definitely not in the PAL version of the game. There are many differences I've noticed between the two! Only the first tracks for each movie are available at the start of the game, for example.
I guess you can say it's some rest from your usual racing...XD

They actually are. At one point the Jim Henson Company owned the rights to the Muppets, and just about every puppet character they created were called "Muppets," which includes Fraggle Rock (but not the latex "Creature" puppets featured in Drak Crystal/Labyrinth, etc.)
Long story short, Disney now owns the rights to the The Muppet Show characters, and Sesame Street is allowed to still use the name.

hai Blu i was wondering if u reviewed Getting up? it was first out for ps2 and i think on PC but i heard PC version was very buggy
people asked me for that one and I'll probably play it! it sounds weirdly funny and fun
@@BlooTeg it's a graffiti based arcade fighter with nice storyline and style to it, it for some reason reminded me the NFS pro street (even tho they're completely different games) with all the vibes of street graffiti and music but it's fun you should review it
