The sheer amount of dedication is astounding. Secondly, not only what's showcased, but this is a great trailer. I wasn't expecting synching with the music, but it was hype, and twice as good as any game trailers you'll see nowadays. Not only an amazing update, but a great trailer.

Since the release of thaw, I've been dreaming of seeing New Orleans from thug2 on the thaw engine. Seeing what is happening with the game now, I'm sure that one day my dream will come true THANKS to the creators of reTHAWed, thanks to everyone who takes part in this, you guys can’t even imagine what emotions this causes!
I like the inclusion of the slim Jim guy as a playable character. I know that model was exported from Dave mirra's freestyle BMX 2. Another game I love.
@@ImUzis I can vouch. I replayed the entire story in ReThawed and it works. The only thing is, since the original textboxes are gone, sometimes the text can appear above something bright in-game, and be illegible. I think there should be an option to have a textbox background so it doesn't happen.
Are the online servers for this game secured by VAC? Also can you play as any of the TF2 mercs in this game? (of course this is a joke, saw someone say they wanted cs 1.6 physics in reTHAWed)
I'm confused here so they're making another mod game like thug pro but using the American wasteland engine but using the American wasteland engine wait why not just buckle down and improve thug pro more was the engine of the pro 2 limited to do anything new?
- THUG2 uses garbage .snd format which leads to pops / crackles, THAW uses nice .wav - THUG2 uses paletted textures HEAVILY and 90% of images have max of 255 colors, THAW uses DXT with much larger palette - THUG2 is missing bank drops, adding them properly or faking them would be a nightmare, something THAW already has - THUG2 engine is missing features like boned ollie, BMX, bert slide, spray on ground, lots of things that would be near impossible to implement - THUGPro uses a closed-source DLL to modify the application, making expanding upon it and doing actual engine modifications impossible THUG / THUG2 are dated, restrictive engines and trying to backport things into them is a fruitless and silly endeavor
There should be a folder inside the zip of the music pack you want to download. All you need to do is drag that folder to data/mod/usermods/musicpacks in your games folder. Load up the game and it should be automatically working if done correctly!
Anybody wondering I managed to get a safe download ( as far as I can tell ) from oldgamesdownload. Its the second one to come up I think if you type in Tony hawk American wasteland torrent/download
