In today's episode we emptied the van, prepared the firewood for the heating and cooked an amazing authentic Vegetarian Italian Lasagne!

Lasagne/Lasagna Ingredients:
250gr no-boil lasagna noodles (I used Emiliane Barilla
14 ounces artichoke hearts chopped
garlic
onion
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
evo
Bechamel Sauce
100gr butter
100 gr flour
1 liter cups fresh milk, heated
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes (200C 390F)

I look forward to seeing more recipes! It is wonderful to watch you living a simple life - I think many of us crave a simpler life surrounded by nature and beauty. Move your house battery inside the house for the winter. They become destroyed in freezing weather. Shelves in the cupboard, with little lips to stop stuff from falling. Dewalt battery tools. I have small chain saw, leaf blower and hedge trimmer which all work better than I expected. Have had all of their battery powered hand tools for years. Lasagna my FAVORITE!!👍

My goodness, you've come so far since your days in Alaska! I find a certain tranquility getting all those little household chores checked off the list. Clean the house, burn some incense or a candle and sit back with a cup of tea knowing things are in order. The lasagna looked delicious and you're right Sara, bechamel is easy and necessary!

This couple belong to each other and so patient esp. Vaccuming the beetles!!!🤗 Unfortunately, with some varmints you need to get rid of them because they all breed and then you have quadruple more problems esp with mice, rats etc. I so enjoyed watching all your videos. Life!!! ❤🦋🕊🌈🤪💌💋

I think you two are the beautiful people and great job on the build, not sure if you realize
the potential of a shadow over your solar panel as I just watched that build episode.
I have a work around solution for you if your interested, as you modified your roof rack
by cutting out rail braces that gave the rack stability. If you further modify that side and
rotate the top rail so it lays flat along the edge of the solar panel you will remove the
shadow effect and also help protect the panel edge from possible tree damaging the
panel corners.

I like the show just as much. I liked the addition of olive oil to the lasagna. I put olive oil on nearly everything but never thought to do that. Great Show.

Sara. A small tip. Put lemon juice on your artichokes when you cut them and they will not go brown.

Lucky Land seems so peaceful. We used to get the ladybugs like that when we owned a farmhouse in the country - harmless but annoying - although we liked them in our vegetable garden during the warm seasons. The lasagna looked delicious :)

About the lasagna... It's by far my favorite pasta! Only this year, with the pandemic, that I decided to make one myself.
But mine has ham, bolognese sauce, and lots of mozzarella cheese...
The best lasagna I've ever had, is made here in Rio, in a very small shop called La Veronese.
They won't give away the recipe, but I told the guy that once I move away, that I will go there and demand that he teaches me how to make that lasagna!!

My great-grandfather, Perrone, was from Calabria, a small town called Diamante.
My great-grandmother was from Mestre, Veneto. Her last name was Scagnolato.
And they met here in Brazil.
One day I'll go visit these two places...

So long as it's not snowing or raining, can still dry clothes outside ...freeze-drying. Really! Know several older folks that have done that back when they had no dryer. When there's no moisture in the air, the moisture in clothes evaporates. 👍
