I do not see the link you mentioned in the video in your description, it'll be easier for me to follow if it was in your description. I watched a video a couple times to get it so not a big deal, just a suggestion. Just trying to help.
Defence and escapes. Don’t go for too many subs for the first match. Just work positions. My first tournament I burnt out because I went too hard trying for subs. Lost in the second match. So definitely work positions and attacks that don’t burn energy
Strength and size definitely are a huge advantage. But dont underestimate someone smaller. Their skill may gap your skill more than your Strength gaps their strength.
No, this does not mean smash the 140 lbs guy you are rolling with, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE LMAOO
Learned that one in Gracie Combatives! Super effective, and super simple. Great tutorial 👍
Perhaps I'm too nice with 'the crush', will try being meaner when doing this next.
Yeah, I'm always worried I'm gonna do something to some guy's neck.
Same, im strong and heavy so i try to be a good training partner but often results in me not performing as well because im nerfing myself

@@benjamindelfs2718 Thanks dude!
There’s a reason most gyms are filled with big guys. Because jiu-jitsu is easier for them
When you are big and strong you don't need jiu jitsu. 😅
😂
Yeah no
Grow up.

I am a 83 kg guy. Today a 60 kg purple belt made me a "botinha" and i had no chance to escape. Of course you need bjj to win.
