Can I just say, I LOVE how Gaz didn't so much as blink when Ollie switched in. He just rolled with it so naturally and I think that truly shows just how comfortable he is with Jess DID. I found it really sweet how normal it all is, this is unfortunately not represented well in the media. Just wanted to shine some light on that little highlight 🤗💖

I cried during your letter too! You most definitely are your own person! I don't have DID but I have bipolar disorder, and sometimes have thoughts that aren't really my own. So I can kinda relate. There is such a stigma on all mental health disorders. I wish people would realize we are all just trying to do our best to get through this life, just like every one else! Much love too you, to Jess and the boys, and to everyone else who has ever felt alone! 🤗

Ironically I actually came across this channel due to split. As I'm sure many open minded people thought, I wanted to know more about the real world equivalent to the disorder and understood that it wasn't a realistic depiction. I'm so grateful for you being such a fascinating, respectable and entertaining channel, keep it up!

Alice Wilks I think it was very noticeable, it just wasn’t a shock. Jess has a different voice, different mannerisms, and different personality is general. Ollie gets more bro-ish for lack of a better term and even Gaz shifts in response to the switch. He moves slightly away, still affectionate and playful but slightly less romantic. It’s really quite fascinating.
It’s incredible how easily Gaz switches along with Jess’s system. I wonder how long it took him to get to know Jess and her Alters enough to know who he’s talking to and adjust along with her system.

I know you all boycotted the film, but something good came out of it because I can say it allowed me to be more educated about what DID really is. Best wishes to all of you!

Our close friends saw the film and they aren't afraid of us at all. They find it enjoyable, kinda cheat with the "Beast" and kinda relatable by moments

@@12layerdonut I have two friends who have DID. I met them long before Split was released. I rather enjoyed it. It made me become fascinated with DID and people who have it. I believe that each alter is their own person and should be accepted as such. ❤️
When you read the letter from Christopher.. I cried. It was so touching! Our system only has one child alter and she has experienced a lot of the same feelings towards wanting friends her own age. Fortunately, we have a wonderful man in our lives who makes sure that he caters to her whenever possible and makes her feel comfortable in being herself! It is helpful to know that it is a common feeling in child alters!

I'm not a system, but growing up I made friends with mostly adults as well. My grandma, Mema, who was the loveliest person I've ever known, was the one that took my sister and I to all these church events and we made friends with all of the older church people. As a kid, though, I had a hard time making friends with people my age and I always resented that I didn't have them to relate to. Now, as an adult, I am so thankful to Mema because I feel like a better communicator because of her taking us everywhere. Don't worry, Ollie. It gets easier, dearie. We all love you!

In America, we do have a physical location to pick up our mail from a PO box, but there is a difference from a PO box versus a regular mail service. There ARE some mail services that deliver from a PO Box to a physical home address, but that isn't necessarily the norm.
