We Made A Carbon Fiber Ripsurf for Ricky Glaser

- Ricky Glaser from Braille Skateboarding asked for a carbon fiber ripsurf (like a ripstick) and we delivered. We use epoxy resin, carbon fiber, maple veneers and a vacuum bag mold to make the deck. Then Andrew bends and welds up some trucks to mount the casters. After that it's off the the laser cutter to engrave some crispy graphics on the bottom of the deck and do some finishing. It was a super fun and challenging project. We hope Braille has as much fun skating it as we did building it.

Thanks Ricky! Let’s talk version 2!
You have no idea how cool I think this is
Adding Carbon fiber to the wood was Genius
I thought that a carbon fiber Ripsurf would be interesting, wrote it down, and then found your video. Awesome!
I just learned how to ripstik the day this came out. I would be really grateful if you chose me for the giveaway.
It was sad to see one break on their channel. Amazing work!
Nice work guys! It looks beautiful. Stoked to see Braille skate it!
Wow!! This build was pretty satisfying to watch!! The trucks were simple but effective! I’d love a ripsurf like this!! Heck if these were for sale id definitely buy one!
Omg I love my ripstick surf I just I recently learned to 360 shy it so this would be such an upgrade. Great work👍
ripsurfs are the best!!!! my wheels are down to the rim from shredding
You know it's a Braille related video when you hear "Rio"
You guys made a masterpiece! Excited for the giveaway!
woohooo! I like Sk8
This is so sick! I never knew how much work went into making this. Amazing work guys!
This is Very Interesting
i love watching people build something
And we love building things! Thanks for watching.
I love the ripsurf you made it looks amazing and even more then that I love seeing the process of making it! Keep doing what you are doing and keep making videos I love to see them.
This is a really cool ripsurf. I have been ripsticking for over 5 years and never seen a ripstick of this high of quality. Good job I would love to be able to ride it.
Cool build, you guys definitely went above and beyond on designing this waveboard. At 14:07 I though you were going to just bolt on the chopped Ripstik trucks, which would have been cool enough for me :).
Just watched the braille vid think that a layer or two of plexiglass might as a lil more flex for the grinds (no clue but an idea i had)
I love what you guys are doing. I always thought it would be cool to make a skateboard or even know how to make a skateboard. Now that I've found this channel I'm excited to learn any tips you guys have. It's going to be interesting to see your channel and the support for your channel grow.
I really liked the process you guys went through trying out new things to get it perfect. Really Impressive.
Cruising in one of those boards here in Hawaii would be sick!
Beautiful work my guy!!!
Super dope process. Rip surf is actually my favorite board to skate around with, awesome to see you all make one so quality!
Fantastic job! It looks amazing!
This is dope dude
I got my son the ripsurf and we go back and forth on it; would be nice if we could run together
Satisfying process and the end result is amazing, nice work! I would love to have one of these to rip around on!

Awesome job!! It looks amazing!!
This is so awesome!

Ah yes definitely🤣
I love my ripstick but this thing looks awesome!!! I hope you start selling them so i can get one!!!
Thanks! Selling them isn’t really our thing and it wouldn’t be economical - but maybe you could make your own from our video:)
if you take out the gap in the middle a bit it will stay together better
We spent nearly a week engineering the specific amount of material to get a balance of strength and flexibility. We might have some tricks up our sleeve for a version 2 :)
Magic Carbon
😍
Try ripping off the peel ply in the dark when working with carbon 😜
Where do I enter the contest to win one of those? Do not see a link...Great looking board!!!
Where can I buy this caster wheel???? I can’t find it👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
