I have 4 in total and each has a small issue😅. But the slim I have over here is the fully functional one. I really need to get my hands on more games for it
Can't tell you how much this means to me. Thank you for giving me a shot and it paid out in the end. It's a struggle, but comments like this make it all worth it
Such a great generation for survival horror. Resident Evil Remake/ Zero/ 4, Silent Hill 2-4, Eternal Darkness, Fatal Frame 1-3, Haunting Ground, Clock Tower 3, Siren, Rule of Rose, Kuon, and so many more!
This right here is one of the main reasons why the PS2 was amazing! And not only talking about the horror games. But it had something for everyone and still remember to this day
Well if you think about it, the game prices for the PS2 were a lot higher than now. But it was a lot more fun back then. The games just worked, no updates, nu micro transactions. It was all about gaming
@@weston407 Each generation had great titles. And for me the PS3 ones are my all time favorite, Uncharted and The Last of Us. And the PS3 was also my first Playstation console. But the PS2 was pretty special and will remain in history as one of the greatest
I intended to add it but in the end I didn’t for several reasons. First of all, I don’t have it😅. Also, it is a bit older and decided to keep it for the 3 main producers that are still around. I should’ve added as a quick mention though
xbox was so strong, it's 2.5 times stronger than ps2. for me every multiplatform games are xbox exclusive, especially Splinter Cell games, because it look way better on xbox
You right. Any game that dropped on both consoles i always got it on the Xbox. It was just stronger. PS2 had a deep catalog to its advantage. GameCube exclusives were insane. Metroid, Zelda,Mario were at their best on this console at the same time. Mannnnn.
@@vincentcraig306 indeed, PS2 has great catalog, especially ''Godhand'' and ''Urban Reign'' these games are my gem on PS2. but yea, if the game also available on xbox, i'll get it for xbox
I’m in the same bucket as you. PS3 is my first console and was a fan of their games ever since. But I missed the PS2 era and that’s why I had to buy one a few years ago.
I still think the ps1/n64 era was better and brought more unique/innovative games than this era and it's not just because I grew up with them. The ps2/GameCube/xbox era had too many ports amongst all of these consoles and ports on the pc as well.
Still got my PS2 😊💪

incredibly well produced video! deserves more than the 62 views it has

6th gen consoles era where gaming peak, so many new and creative games were made, it puts modern consoles to shame
Simpler times, no micro transactions, no unfinished games but technology still good enough to develop great looking and strong games

Still got my Ps2 👌👌👌
Just got Fifa 07 for it. My favorite Fifa game and can't wait to play it
I feel like peak gaming was playstation 2 times. After that there was minimal innovation but with a massive increase in prices

I feel like the 360 and PS3 were both a HUGE jump from the XBOX and PS2 but beyond that I agree (look at Gears of War and Killzone 2)

i still have the xbox
Awesome you still have yours. I had to buy mine a few years ago
U forgot the dreamcast

XBOX was an amazing console, especially for a first attempt. The competition made things a lot better

Great video!
Since I skipped this gen, I’ve always felt like the 7th was the best, but it sounds like it was a mere continuation of what started here.

ps2 sold 200 million units not 158
Actually, just yesterday we had an official number directly from Sony during their 30 year celebration and they mentioned 160 milion

And, lest we forget, many of the best ps2 games originated from the ps1 like gran turismo, resident evil, and others
I get your point and can’t contradict you there. For me, the PS1 was still the starting point and PS2 took it to the next level
