Yeah running a pedal in line going DI is cool. I went over everything in the video but if you tell me exactly where your having a problem, I can help you. First thing is you need an interface with more than 2 outputs.
Spent two minutes telling us what you were gonna tell us then didn’t tell us any of it! But yeah many pedals use the R on the jack shorting to the S via the barrel of the TS plug to complete the power supply connection so the pedal will turn off (save battery) when there’s nothing plugged in.
You dialled in a really great classic rock tone on that first track! Very convincing - really great mix overall. I'm sold!

how do you add a pedal in post? I've also ran my instrument through a pedal in the DI of my interface in real time 😊
