  • I purchased a Fimco ATV boom sprayer kit from my local TSC. It wasnt until a few days later I realized the box said it wasn't compatible with my sprayer. But, all is well and with some tweaks, it works great.

That's funny. We just bought a kubota rtv and I was looking for sprayer options. Then your video popped up.

if you were closer ,I have an old homemade sprayer that I would have given you. It has a 150 gallon tank and a 16 ft. boom, I believe. I am one that avoids chemicals of all kinds. They have always freaked me out. Especially Round Up. Where I live, farmers use tons of chemicals on the fields for weeds and for insects. There seems to be no way around it.
I just sold the 2 Fimco sprayers that my Dad had. He had the one like you have that mounted in the bed of the Kubota RTV 900. The other one was the 25 gallon trailer type. Both just like new. I had no use for them.

I appreciate thr thought! I try to avoid them when I can, but starting a horse pasture on what used to be overgrown thicket for the last 35 years, I didn't want any surprises.

Literally just bought the 25gal spot sprayer and the boom kit yesterday and installed it on my wheeler today. making a couple small modifications for ease of use and storage and will be using it for the first time next weekend to start some summer food plot work. I'll let you know what I think post use but everything looks good so far. Thanks for the vid.

Thanks for watching. I used mine again yesterday. Still need to rig it up with the valve so I can use the handle too. Forgot all about it until I went to use it. That's how it works for me usually haha

I usually run clean water through my FIMCO tank sprayer after I'm done spraying chemicals so it does not mess up the pump, lines, and nozzles. Mine has served me well.

I've read of some neutralizers, but I figure if I run enough water through I'll be OK like you said.

It's always on one. Take it off for a day and this happens. Only shows 3.4 volts

Put a trickle charger on the quad.

It's always on one. ThGs part of the problem. Unplug it for one day and it says it's only putting 3.4 volts.
