MSFS - Ulrichen Airport - LSMC

- This little video introduces my new MSFS Ulrichen scenery, which can be downloaded as freeware from here flightsim.to/f.... The video shows some of the highlights, such as:
- The spectacular canyon approach where the pilot has to literally throw down his aircraft the steep flanks of the Minstiger-Valley. In real world this approach is documented in this video: • Hawker Hunter à CH-Ulr...
- The airport has two shelters on the other side of the Rhone (up there called Rotten). These shelters are connected to the taxiways with wooden bridges (see above video a bit later)!
- Very unique is also the railroad crossing, which has to be passed by the aircraft coming directly from the Rhone/Rotten bridge!
Other highlights regarding the Ulrichen airport:
- Time from the eternal snow of the Aletsch-area glaciers to the circuit of LSMC: 30 seconds
- Highest fighter air base in Europe
- While the airport is closed today, the scenery resembles the airport in it's 1970 shape.
- Good place to take off with Swiss military airplanes, be it the F/A 18, the PC-6, the Ju-52 or even the upcoming Hawker Hunter.

In Ulrichen habe ich sehr viele WKs gehabt. Auch in Gluringen. Ober Goms isch mega ❤️❤️❤️ Danke für das Video. Schade das all diese Flugplätze zu sind. 😥 Grüsse aus LSMD. 👍

Da kann was nicht stimmen. Die Lufteinlässe da sind nicht von einer F/A18 Hornet sonder von einer Superhornet. Die aber haben wir gar nicht in der Schweiz.
Ja, das stimmt. Trotzdem gut gemacht.
Sehr aufmerksam! In der Tat ist die Hornet Version im Simulator die Superhornet. Das kann ich leider nicht ändern.
