Kia has become the brand that destroyed Europe. It has especially shaken the famous German cars in sales. Kia has done an excellent job and as far as I know, it is the only brand that gives a 7-year warranty to its cars. I have started the purchasing process for Kia Ev9. and Kia Thank you ❤❤❤

I had purely BMW’s for years prior to buying Kia two years ago. You will miss build quality slightly, it’s not quite up there with some material quality. The greater problem is the dealers and service, at least in my experience. They are not very clued up and still act like they are knocking out cheap cars. It’s been a solid buy overall but come in with your eye open.
@@TheKwambus A good car should keep you away from the dealership - no service necessary. And "material quality" is way overrated. I don't find myself randomly fondling the dashboard so doesn't need soft touch materials or premium leather.
I'm going to say it.... Kia, since the 2020 redesign, has the best looking vehicles on the road. They look better then luxury brands today. Seriously every vehicle in the line up is unique, aggresive, sleek and stylish. Very futuristic, these cars catch your eye and stand out. The rims alone are huge statement. Plus I love the color options, my favorite is definitely the Souls Undercover Green. I had a 2018 Sportage that I traded for a CRV. It's a okay vehicle, but it time for something new and I'm thinking the 2023 Soul EX is calling my name.
Soul, the car that's getting all the love in the world except in its mother country, Korea 🥲 If you ask me why, box cars just don't survive in Korea. Congrats!
Hyundai/Kia are masters of failing to deliver their EVs in a timely manner. If they don't correct this, regardless of how well designed their EVs are, customers will be turned off purchasing them and go with other companies that can deliver.
Well, now the group has to keep quality high, offer good services and go through production hell like Elon said. It’s now or never to get market shares from people never buying Korean ‚premium‘ before in their life. I am so happy that I did and have no problems with most EV out there, only the software for preconditioning battery in winter time and routeplanning as well as the graphical design in my EV6 AWD 77,4 kWh need to be improved and modernized! It still looks like in some former ICE models from another world! But this should be an easy task to futher improve my beloved car 🥰 and to stay with the brand. My S3XY car friends do not need to ask for constant improvements even on the first roadsters and model S, so that is the way to do it!😎🇨🇭

I like that Kia does not copy German models. Korean cars should feel korean. Giving original design to the new models is the right choice. Looks phenomenal, modern and technological

People have been wanting japanese SUV's such as nissan patrol and the toyota land cruiser, but walah, you've got a proper suv which fulfills the needs of a traditional suv

My Sportage PHEV was a lemon and returned back to Kia, USA after the new transmission gave it more issues. My Sportage HEV SX Prestige in Matte Gray/Red Interior has 3,000 miles now and it's flawless! I'd definitely consider the EV9 and see what Matte colors will come with it. I got my Matte paint ceramic coated and XPEL PPF film to protect it. Once my Jeep Rubicon 4XE Plug-In lease is up in 2 years this will definitely make sense with three kids.
It's awesome ! If it drives as good as it looks, I'm sold. The only thing I would change is the glossy black trim around the wheels and lower trim....color-match to body and it's perfect.

Good luck getting one in Europe. Waiting time for EV6 has so far been 18 month and still waiting. I believe EV9 would be similar. Or even more if made in the same factory.
I cannot see the point of this, I love it, but if you need a big SUV for long trips, have a max range of 500km coupled that with charging infrastructure that is 10 years behind the curve of EV builds. I mention that as this weekend I have a trip across Europe, first day 1400km, second day 900kms, cannot do that first day in one day in an EV, probably not even the second day. I admit I am the exception not the rule, but that's my criteria for a car/SUV. BTW, I make 1 refuel stop for the first leg, also several 10-15 min stops, EV requires at least a 30-40min stop to reach another 200-230km range. I speak on experience as we have an EV too.
Love it. I kinda wish they did the digital tigernose grill on the entire front of the suv instead of just the sides, so it's not blank and you could change the design to your liking. Maybe next year?
As an EV6, I have to say that their HDP is the best. It’s smooth and not scary to use at all unlike the HDP on my Aviator. That thing terrified me and other drivers too. I’m sure that I made more than one motorcycle rider need a change of underwear when I used that HDP.

The heads-up display projected on the windshield is an awesome feature and I wish more cars had them. Was disappointed to hear the CyberTruck won't be shipping with one.
I wish you showed yourself sitting in the third row seat so we could get a better idea of knee room and how high the floor is back there. Also do the third row and second row seats fold completely flat? Does it come with a spare tire of any sorts? Personally think the suv’s got a great design, but would have preferred if the third row window was a square instead of a triangle. Also think the swivel seat is a bit of a gimmic, and for children. Grown adults wouldn’t enjoy bashing their knees into each other. Oh and finally I wish they went with a single large panoramic sunroof that goes from the first row to half way into third row like the old Hyundai santafe. I really don’t care if it opens or not, could be fixed like in my Tesla model y.
Question to seats, yes, they're fully flat. No spare tires, but puncture kit - been this way for some time now with HMG cars. I agree with you on the sunroof :) I did manage to capture a bit more about the 2nd and 3rd row seat in Fully Charged Show video: ua-cam.com/video/MwP2xyCsRG4/v-deo.html
good looking car. A bit big for European cities. And if imitation is the sincerest form of flattery than the Volvo designers must really feel very flattered by the rear look of this! ;) I really need to get an electric vehicle for the daily chores... (and before anyone feels the need to comment, I live in a city in the mountains with sketchy to non-existent charging infrastructure coming in or going out.)
Some parts of the globe + cities just aren't ready for electrifications yet. The costs (in various forms) could be very high. I might be in the same shoe as yours, so kinda know what you're saying. I really want an EV myself as well!
Not bad, I've been waiting for 3 rows EV altough I am not impressed with the leg room specially in the 3 row neither the fact that it is only 6 to 7 seats... not impressed with this being called a full 3 rows. I wonder how it would compare with the Honda Pilot. What are the towing capabilities?
It really is a nice car. Just the lenght is leaving me a bit unsatisfied. Why it has to be a full 5m car? I drove a KIA Carens over years and it was a perfect family car on 4,5m. The EV6 even a bit longer than the Carens has much less space inside and lacks enough space in the trunk and on the backseats. So I hoped for the EV9 it can replace the Carens, but besides the much higher price it disappopints in the question of lenght - space relation. Carens had full 3 seats in backrow, EV9 just 2,5. Looks like KIA still lacks an affordable spacious family car for the use in a city since Carens disappeared.

Hello from Germany.. i know EV9 coming to germany its Beautifull Car i have the KIA Sorento Diesel 2.2L and so happy but the EV9 looks very beautifull for me i think to changed to EV9 its come to Europe... but why only Electric Engine? Petrol engine or Diesel would have been good too
The model that did not have swivel seats, did it have the 3rd row of seats? Do you have any pictures/footage of the boot/trunk of that model with the fixed second row seats?

I think it looks absolutely stunning. Pretty much everything I want from a vehicle. But the fact that it's an EV is a deal-breaker for me. I've got nothing against EVs generally, but I live in a sub arctic climate where charging stations are sparse. Cold weather destroys range, and I don't like the idea of a car being worthless in 7 or 8 years when the battery dies. I desperately wish they would offer gasoline or hybrid options for some of these beautifully designed modern vehicles. Without some kind of breakthrough battery technologies, there are many parts of the world were EVs are not going to be feasible as a replacement for gas vehicles anytime soon, but manufacturers seem totally oblivious to this.
*This vehicle will give you range anxiety with less than 300 miles that it has, even worst knowing it would be better not to fill it 100%* EV is a big no no for me, it if was gas, I would concider it.
@@yeonichannel Since it is not suggested to fill it up to 100%, it should give more than 400 miles so when it reaches 80% you are up to 320 miles at least.
I am considering buying one, but in Europe many option have been capped, like the lights in the grill, onboard dashcam, etc. If I do, I will open a channel dedicated to the car. I am not a youtuber, but May become, lol

I didn’t have the time to play with infotainment systems, there are two cameras on side mirrors alone that I found later. I will go shoot EV9 again focusing on those points I’ve missed on this vid.
It’s not a direct competitor as one is an SUV and another being a mini van. If Carnival (Sedona you are referring to, right?) is fit for a family, I don’t think EV9 could replace Carnival.

Nice. Provided pricing remains competitive and battery range in real world utilization = +450km then they have a winner.

ADAS & HDA work really smooth and best with EVs I think. They sure are different from ICE cars.
what i want kia/hyundai to improve is their Nav. they can barely make "Route Planning" work. It's one of the most important feature in an EV
EV9 comes with OTA, hope that would be included in future upgrades!

Question to seats, yes, they're fully flat. No spare tires, but puncture kit - been this way for some time now with HMG cars. I agree with you on the sunroof :) I did manage to capture a bit more about the 2nd and 3rd row seat in Fully Charged Show video:

good looking car. A bit big for European cities. And if imitation is the sincerest form of flattery than the Volvo designers must really feel very flattered by the rear look of this! ;) I really need to get an electric vehicle for the daily chores... (and before anyone feels the need to comment, I live in a city in the mountains with sketchy to non-existent charging infrastructure coming in or going out.)
Some parts of the globe + cities just aren't ready for electrifications yet. The costs (in various forms) could be very high. I might be in the same shoe as yours, so kinda know what you're saying. I really want an EV myself as well!
Not bad, I've been waiting for 3 rows EV altough I am not impressed with the leg room specially in the 3 row neither the fact that it is only 6 to 7 seats... not impressed with this being called a full 3 rows. I wonder how it would compare with the Honda Pilot. What are the towing capabilities?
Compared to the EV6 It seems a lot cheaper in construction plastics and design~
It really is a nice car. Just the lenght is leaving me a bit unsatisfied. Why it has to be a full 5m car? I drove a KIA Carens over years and it was a perfect family car on 4,5m. The EV6 even a bit longer than the Carens has much less space inside and lacks enough space in the trunk and on the backseats. So I hoped for the EV9 it can replace the Carens, but besides the much higher price it disappopints in the question of lenght - space relation. Carens had full 3 seats in backrow, EV9 just 2,5. Looks like KIA still lacks an affordable spacious family car for the use in a city since Carens disappeared.
Seems like it has enough for families with 3-4 kids which should satisfy a lot of buyers.
@@razoraz KIA Carens did have the same space at a full length of 4,5m. Additionally I guess the EV 9 will cost double the price.

Hello from Germany.. i know EV9 coming to germany its Beautifull Car i have the KIA Sorento Diesel 2.2L and so happy but the EV9 looks very beautifull for me i think to changed to EV9 its come to Europe... but why only Electric Engine? Petrol engine or Diesel would have been good too

Not any time soon. No IONIQ 7 test cars under camo are being witnessed just yet, meaning it will take some time.

I think it looks absolutely stunning. Pretty much everything I want from a vehicle. But the fact that it's an EV is a deal-breaker for me. I've got nothing against EVs generally, but I live in a sub arctic climate where charging stations are sparse. Cold weather destroys range, and I don't like the idea of a car being worthless in 7 or 8 years when the battery dies. I desperately wish they would offer gasoline or hybrid options for some of these beautifully designed modern vehicles. Without some kind of breakthrough battery technologies, there are many parts of the world were EVs are not going to be feasible as a replacement for gas vehicles anytime soon, but manufacturers seem totally oblivious to this.

EV is a big no no for me, it if was gas, I would concider it.

@@yeonichannel Since it is not suggested to fill it up to 100%, it should give more than 400 miles so when it reaches 80% you are up to 320 miles at least.

I am considering buying one, but in Europe many option have been capped, like the lights in the grill, onboard dashcam, etc.

It’s not a direct competitor as one is an SUV and another being a mini van. If Carnival (Sedona you are referring to, right?) is fit for a family, I don’t think EV9 could replace Carnival.
