- I go over how to do the ECU reset in a 350Z or G35. Skip to the 6:00 minute mark for the procedure.
1. Ignition ON, (dont not run the motor) count to 3 seconds.
2. Press/ Release the accelerator pedal 5 times hard and fast.
3. Count to 10 seconds and fully press the pedal.
4. Count to 12 seconds (S.E.S. light should be blinking), release the accelerator pedal.
5. Count to 10, press the accelerator pedal
6. Count to 10, release the accelerator pedal
7. Turn off the ignition, then start and run the engine.
8. Take the vehicle for a long drive to relearn. 1 HR+ on the highway if possible.
*Do not use this procedure as a band aid fix if you have a S.E.S./ MIL indication on. Address the issue why the check engine light came on by an experienced technician.

You guys ROCK!!! Your instructions were clear and concise!!! I cleared the ECU with no problem. Today I replaced my driver's side camshaft position sensor on my 2003 G35 sedan with 230,000 miles on it. Not only is the car idling smoothly it did not konk out after I started it. Purrs like a kitten!!! Many thanks!!!
Glad to hear it worked!
Was that the camshaft timing vct solenoid? P1111?
Does this work for the HR?
Great Vid worked like a charm! Recently got test pipes and a xpipe. Set off the SES after my battery died.
I just had a touch Radio, head lights and running lights put in and yes the ck engine light came on. Straight panic. Haven't tried this yet but I'm glad it's a quick fix. Lunch is on me the next time your in GA.
Did it work for you?
03 g35 sedan: plenum spacer, shorty headers, stillen CAI, Motodyne 5/16 spacer, FI HFCs and 73mm TB bore...now the check engine lights are finally gone! Thank you!!
Paul Molina Keep us up to date in a couple months!
Hey after you installed all this did your car start popping
Bro you are a lifesaver I’ve been restarting my battery for a few months now😁
Glad to hear the video helped!
it wasn't working until i realized that i waited too long after the 5th press-depress..
tried again.. counted 10.. count 12 and voil!a.. flashing light..
i had changed the mass air flow sensor and the maintenance warning was stil on..
thank you very much for your video.. it worked..
klepetar Awesome glad to here it helped you :)
took a few times to get the timing right to reset the light, but it works. Thanks for the video!
Glad to hear it worked!
I would want to learn it too
thank you I've been trying all other videos on my 2004 350z and I followed all your steps right and worked ! thanks a lot
That's great! I think I add a couple seconds in one of the steps and we tried to demonstrate what it looks like more to help people get the timing down. I'm glad it helped you.
Hey Anthony, thanks for posting this. I just bought a 2006 350Z recently. 53k orig miles, 6spd manual, Motordyne spacer, titanium cat back exhaust w/H pipe, Jim Wolf Pop charger, 19" wheels all around. Pioneer head unit driving the bose system plus Python alarm and remote start. It had the check SES light on and I was told it was due to the exhaust mods. The low miles on the car eased most of my worry with this unknown and I bought it anyway. I just did you reset method and poof, the light is off. I only got a 20 mile drive in as I did this on lunch. I will be checking again when I drive home from work and in the morning tomorrow when it's cold to see if the light comes back on and if I have anything to investigate. So thank again for this vid. I was told the suspension was altered but I don't see how as the shocks all have Nissan stamped in them. It could be the 19's just give it a lower appearance. The owner I purchased the car from stated it had the best suspension you could get. I assume that would be track in stock form. This car is an Enthusiast and does not have the dual cover on the timing so it's not a revup motor. Please correct me if I'm wrong there. Anyway, if you could comment on the suspension and revup status of my car I would appreciate it. I did watch your video on that subject but I have also read that all 2006 manual cars are revup. The timing cover on mine contradicts that statement.
D Juhasz What's the month and year of manufacturing of the car?
Based on the carfax, it says manufactured and shipped to original dealer 6/30/06.
sequence number 312206
D Juhasz I'd just call a dealership with the vin and they can verify.
thank you worked like a charm, i did a car delete was running bad now runs good
Glad it worked!
Thank you so much! I was able to reset my ECU and get rid of P0603 error code.
That's great!
Bro you’re a money saver appreciate ‼️‼️‼️‼️ thought something else was wrong after replacing the af
Glad it helped! Make sure to take the vehicle out for a good drive.
Thanks. It took me 5 try but got it cleared. Just had to count my seconds slowly.
Glad you were able to make it work!
up, down, left, right, A, B, select, start
Gabriel BG Haha ya it's like the cheat codes you put in a videogame.
AnthonyJ350 I tried it yesterday a few times on my EX35 to no avail. Next step is to do again watching your video. I really don't understand why they went overboard in the complication department. I get they don't want people accidentally resetting but this is rediculous lol. Thanks for video! You'll get an easy 100 views from me alone before I figure this thing out lol.
The service manual gives 2 options to reset the ECU, the pedal dance or the easy option. Resetting the ECU requires just unhooking the neg battery cable and pumping the brake pedal to discharge the ECU capacitors. I just uploaded an easy idle relearn video to help people out and I'll be uploading an easier ECU reset video. Even easier, is using an uprev cable to do it from ROM editor, but unhooking the battery cable comes in 2nd place for easy.
konami code?
OK so lets get this sorted .. Its the English language and over here we say Zed
My 350z 2004, and have Phlenum air intake, made a right turn and the Z stalls and cutoff n restarts but now the check engine light is on, any ideas?
You are a life saver thank you! Worked on my 2003 tour 350z
Glad to hear it worked!
Congrats 🎊.....Damn it didn’t work my 04 convertible : (
mine don’t work
My serpentine belt and the socket harness to the variable timing solenoid ripped off. I replaced those two and now my Z won't start. It cranks but feels like its missing a spark for ignition. Would this reset work?
Best and easiest tutorial ive watched! Even if i felt my counting was too fast or too slow, i was easily able to get it on my third try!
Glad the video helped you 🙂
Thank You!! This totally worked for me. I had to do it twice, but success!! I had replaced the positive battery terminal connection. After doing so the car through a "malfunctioning ECU" code. I tried a couple of hopeful fixes , but NADA.. I called the dealer(no shops around Nashville were interested in repairing. Said "take it to the dealer"). AAARRRGGGHHHH.. So I went to the ol' standby UA-cam. I found this sequence you have awesomely described. Shazam!! It Worked!! Of course this problem had to happen the same month I was due for emission inspection for my tags. I passed! Whoohoo! And without having to spend $1200.00 to $1500.00 quoted by the dealership to replace ECU. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Saved the day~ : )
So glad to hear the video helped you!
After cleaned throttle, my 05 Xterra having code P0507 ( high idle). I went thru research UA-cam and all, but still no luck, even I've tried pedal dance over 20 times. One of the relearn procedure said : "Turn ignition switch ON then OFF, wait at least 10 seconds. MAKE SURE THAT THROTTLE VALVE MOVES DURING THAT 10 SECONDS by CONFIRMING OPERATING SOUND".
The problem is I didn't hear any sound at all from throttle valve. Any input will be appreciated.
Danny D.
Mine has no limp mode light and I just disconnected the battery (planning in leaving like that untill 1 30 pm I disconnected it at 6 53am.) I've never had this problem untill this morning I have a cold air intake and long tube headers with a stock cat back. Could it be I'm low on oil??
It took a while to get it but I did a little trick I did I took a second off the counts like instead of 10 I did 9 seconds but I have a 350z HR so it might be different for other people idk but this is what helped me
Thanks for sharing
thanks for this, before I replaced my clutch and transmission to aftermarket the SES light wasn't on and after it turned on, I'm guessing it just needs a reset because the car runs fine
Unless something is unplugged?
GREAT HELP, thanks buddy
First try And it worked!! Thanks man!
Glad it worked!
What code did you have if you could let me know I would appreciate it a ton
Here is what actually worked for my '08. 07-09 are different engines and mine had a slight difference and timing had to be spot on for this to work.
Turn the ignition key to position “ON” without starting the engine and wait 3 seconds.Fully press and release the accelerator pedal five times within 5 seconds.Wait 7 secondsFully depress the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and hold for ten seconds. until the CEL starts blinking. At this point the light CEL should start flashing error code stored in the system and you can release the pedal. If you only get five flashes slowly or not flashing at all, then it is time You went on one of the above steps and you have to start from scratch.Fully release the accelerator pedal (while the CEL is still blinking) and wait about 10 second.Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds.Fully release the accelerator pedal (The CEL light will continue to blink).Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
I have 07 hr and the 7 seconds work also hitting the gas 5 times after 3 seconds and not waiting for fuel pump to prime
I recently just changed my valve cover gasket and tune up..When I put everything back, my vehicle went into "limp mode" I assume but the car has a rough idle and my check engine light is flashing..do you think this may be caused by the limp mode + vacuum leak?
You would have to scan the vehicle and see what codes got tripped to help diagnose the issue.
The initial blinking is a code. 10 blinks = 0....there are pauses in between, so like 10 blinks, 5 blinks 10, then 7...is 0507. 11 blinks = A, 12 = B and so on...there's a video on it somewhere I think.
Thanks for the comment!
would this fix the oxygen sensor codes? p2a00 and p0462
Greetings, Anthony from the mile-high city of Denver! Great video and especially its simple format. However, since I just dropped $1,300 on a full performance tune (w/ HF cats) for my 2008 HR, I was wondering if resetting the ECU would also erase/interfere w/ the data from the tuning. Aside from that concern, I was wondering if resetting the ECU would help w/ restoring the Readiness Monitors for the Catalyst (CAT) & the Catalyst Heater (HCAT). FYI, after installing a new battery, I ran twice the recommended Nissan Drive Cycle, and initially cleared the blinking Check Engine light; the ODB-II showed all the monitors as complete, except the CAT & HCAT. BTW, the car failed emissions twice (slightly high NOx). To add to my luck, Colorado adopted the CARB Law 😞. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Exhaust: Shorty Tomei Extreme Headers; Berk Technology High Flow Cats (DE); Z1 Resonated Y-pipe; Single-exit Tomei Extreme cat-back exhaust. Engine: Injen Long Tube Cold Air Intakes; Z1 Ported Upper & Lower Manifolds; Z1 High Energy Coils & Denso Iridium Spark Plugs.
I don't believe it does, I would call the tuning shop that did the tune and ask to verify though.
worked like a charm
Matthew Lewis Nice!
Would this procedure be the same for automatic transmissions as well, I just replaced all four o2 sensors in a 2005 350z after getting a bank 2 sensor 1 code after installing all of them I cleared all codes then after driving for about 15 minutes or so the MIL light came on and the same code came up, could this procedure need to be done to permantly fix it?
Only way to find out is try it. It's worked for a lot of other people with different situations if you check the comments.
I have a low idle problems never had a check engine light I have a full exhaust besides test pipes
I have a 2017 Infiniti Q60RS. Installed an oil catch can like you did in the video. No check engine light but hesitation under acceleration. Checked for vacuum leak. Nothing obvious that I could find. Do you think the ECU reset might help even though I have no codes or check engine light? Thanks.
I would try it. Also are you sure the catch can isn't installed backwards?
Hi. I know this is an old video. But I’m trying to do the o2 sensor monitors but they won’t complete no matter what I do and I’ve followed every drive cycle. I’ve seen that maybe they were disabled with a tune in the past. Would this work to remove that if that’s what happened? Thanks
Which set of O2s are you looking at? Pre cat or post catalytic converter? This wouldn't reverse a tune though.
i had ses light due to installing test pipes on my hr, i just put o2 nonfoulers and im wondering if i should clear the codes or reset the ecu first?
yair garcia I'm pretty sure resetting the ECU will clear the code and any saved data. Let me know if the foulers work on your HR.
P2A00 is Bank specific to one side, so I doubt it’s going to be an intake leak unless it’s where the lower Plenum feeds the head anywhere else you’ll get a code for both banks
Thanks for the comment
I don’t have a check engine light but I have a cold air intake and a throttle body spacer installed my fuel economy is trash...would this fix the problem?
Does it have exhaust done? Probably needs a tune. But it doesn't hurt to try the relearn procedure. Also do you drive it harder since you did the mod?
i put a new mafs and i think it needs to be reprogrammed cause it randomly but usual when i first start it up it idles really rough and when i drive with it like that the ses light blinks…do you think doing this would reprogram it ?
It should. You might need a new crank position sensors and cam shift sensors as well.
If those are original, just change them with Hitachi brand.
Reset Steps: 6:57
Thanks for the short cut.
videos are helpful, thanks .
Glad they help!
Would this resolve P0420 and P1283? Lights on because of cat delete. Looking for a steadier/smoother idle as well.
It might if you run defoulers. You really need an UPREV tune done on a dyno to correct the car.
i have a 2007 g35s and it's push start, how would i do the relearn? i also have no CEL but my rpms are surging between 1500-2000
I would follow the same steps in the video, instead of turning the key you're pushing the ignition button. I have not verified the procedure on a push to start vehicle yet.
Will this affect a reflash that is already on my ecu? apparently it's been sent to mines and had something put on it.. (its a japan car) having an issue only in first gear where it bogs when trying to floor it. all other gears are fine
No it shouldn't
ThNks for share this imfo works in my car.
Let us know if it works for you.
I have code p2a00 and I replaced the o2 sensor upstream and code never went away, should I do this?
Did you replace driver side or passenger? You'll probably need to reset the car because it might be saved in the computer.
If i have 03 350z with plenum spacer
Full exhaust, headers ,
cat delete
Pop charger
And I did this ecu reset
Will I ha to do a dyno tune and or reflash ecu ?? Thanks
bombazzwayne cbrwayne You'd be ok. But if you want to take maximum advantage of the mods you want a tune.
Don't get blinking light on my 06 350z. Maybe different on an auto?
Eric Lesher No should be the same. Try counting slower.
AnthonyJ350 I got it. Thanks. I had my dad put on a new cai for me and when the filter was off he said turn your car on to hear how loud it is without a filter and it triggered a engine light. After we put the new cai on the light remained after 30 miles or so. So I just did a reset bout to drive it around
Next time I will disconnect battery when doing mods
Btw just to mention I doubled checked to make sure it's on correctly.
Ya they're somewhat sensitive.
What kind of screen is the one you have on the glovebox, i like it and i need one too
It's a Greddy Infometer touch I custom mounted ua-cam.com/video/l9zGcAY3MQA/v-deo.html
This is an old video but a reply would be much appreciated. I’m having an issue with my idle, and it’s also throwing a U1001, U1000 codes. The thing is this didn’t happen till after I had relentless it to a shop for the SES light which had different codes (those have been resolved. But since they did a ecu reset when they were diagnosing the codes but then it wasn’t driven immediately after, it just sat in the lot till I picked it up. I feel like maybe this could help? Especially if the problem is with the ecu having the wrong perimeters , I just can’t imagine the code being anything physical because it didn’t have it before.
Have you changed out the cam and crankshaft position sensors with Hitachi brand ones?
I keep trying this but the SES light doesn’t start blinking... idk what I’m doing wrong
Could be your timing. Try counting slower.
Any recommendations on what kind of diagnostic tool would help reset those lights ? Either that of i have a broken sensor , but id rather try to reset before i buy a sensor , i think its just because i put new rims on , if you have any ideas id really appreciate it thanks
Look into CReader.
Yep that's Nissan... Installs a radio, check engine light comes on
+W&G Consultants When does that ever happen? That doesn't even make sense. Even new Nissans still don't use a CANBUS network to turn on the head unit. So why would a check engine light turn on consistently?
Well not really installing a radio and a check engine light comes on lol. That never happens, I was meaning more along the lines of watching what you do because if you do it half assed, you will probably end up with light or worse.
lol check engine light will not come on because of rims
will this ecu reset fix my 2003 alarm that constantly goes off randomly with no reason?
Jo ca I'd check the voltage of the battery first. Should rest at 12.6 volts with the motor off.
will this method work for a 350z that has an infiniti engine swap using Up Rev tune? Am I safe to do this? When I start my car, the revs just climb higher and higher and I have to turn off my car within seconds or it will redline. What do you think?
It's worth trying, but don't know for your combination.
I followed everything exactly how you said but it didn't work. Also my SEL doesn't flash at all, even when it showed up. So when I did the reset, it never flashed either. Any ideas what it could be?
Alan Najera Did you try scanning the vehicle to see what the code is?
AnthonyJ350 I haven't scanned it yet to get a code, I was hoping it was something with the ecu since it was not blinking.
can this work on my 2003 GT MY LIGHT CAME ON AFTER NEW BATTERY WAS PUT IN. SKYLINE PLS LET ME KNOW
The Skyline is an Infiniti G35 I don't see why not.
Do you think this could help with my issue? I have no codes stored or on and only on warm starts my Z will stall or RPM will drop low and go to normal. Thanks!
Sounds more like an intake air temperature sensor malfunction.
Thanks, I cleaned my mass air flow sensor and still the rpm drop on a warm startup. Also changed the battery and air filter. I don't see a vacuum leak either.
thanks buddy... that helped
Santo Elliott Great to k ow it worked for someone else!
It worked I hope this will keep my airbag light off at least for a few days. The turn the switch off 4 times turns it off but it comes back after about 20 minutes or driving at least for me it does.
This procedure won't correct an existing problem. If the light comes back you have to fix the vehicle.
@@AnthonyJ350 I fixed it permanently I removed the tac and put black tape behind the airbag light I'll never see it blink again now. Seems it's a flaw in alot Nissan cars and SUV
@@joecable39nc Did you consider scanning the vehicle to see what the problem is?
i have a slip and vdc off light on at the same time that SES light is on, w=could this work for me ?
You can try it. If a sensor is faulty, the light will come back.
My codes did not clear? I followed it down to the second every time? What else could it be?
Does the engine light start flashing the pattern like in the video?
I only turn on the red oil light and start turning it on since the oil changes to my car g35
You reset the ecu after every oil change?
So is this for code p1283 as well ? My car has headers and an exhaust so and it says something about A/F ratio on the forums but I came here cause another person told me to reset the ecu. How do I know which one it is? @anthonyj350
Try the reset and drive the car around, turn it off and turn it back on. If the code comes back you might have a leak at the header throwing the 02 sensors reading off.
Mine is blinking buh everytime I turn it all the way off and turn it back on it’s will pop up still
Something might be actually wrong with the car then. You'll want to bring it to a mechanic to scan the vehicle.
2004 nissan 350... If you install new o2 sensors or camshaft sensors should you do an ecu reset?...
It is recommended.
I bought a 2008 G35 in April 2017 and it dies when idling under 1000 RPM (usually only when stuck in dead stop traffic), would resetting/updating my ECU fix my issue? We originally did diagnostics for it and the first thing to pop up were the CPS', but the dealership i purchased from replaced all four only to find the same issue when idling, it tripped the check engine light within 20 minutes of leaving the dealership.
Car is automatic, about 155k miles but has been serviced appropriately (carfax had a history of every oil change/service this car had, no major repairs done, just upkeep).
Yams It's worth a shot to try it. It's free. If you still have issues a good mechanic will have to live data feed the diagnostics and troubleshoot based on the data.
Yams clean throttle body
If the cars Ecu is flashed with uprev would resetting the ECU mess up anything?
joe Doe Haven't tried it bud. Try it and let us know how it works out.
hey man, i got a check engine light on my 350z HR after installing test pipes. will this method work on my motor? cuz i know that test pipes trigger a check engine light on an HR and not on a DE. According to my mechanic the only way to get rid of the CEL is a tune and i wanna avoid spending $600+ lol....
Mike Ananian Ya the HR is sensitive. You can try O2 sensor spacers. A tune is the best thing for the car.
Thx bud. Ill try your method. If it doesnt work i guess ill tune it...
Thank you, it's working! 🇺🇦
Glad to hear the video helped you!

Z on the right with 5 spoke wheels, what front and side lip kit is that!??!
Str I got it on my gray g35 check it out
It's a Vader from lip.
Will this work if I have an engine code for my Egr removal no other codes?
It should
Check engine light not flashing in my 03’ manual Z I’ve done this before its just not working
Did you try scanning it to see what the code is? There might be a problem with the car.
So i replaced my TPS and tried the reset and my car still went into limp mode i also checked the throttle body and it looks fairly new the car did sit for a year but i even took the pedal from the other Z im getting low voltage codes p2128 and p2138 and p2135 any ideas??
I have a 04 Nissan 350z
Possibly bad ground at the computer or somewhere else?
My 04 g35 service engine light came on. I took it to autozone and they said I needed to replace the ecu. Could resetting it fix it? Or do I have to replace it. Bc as far as I can tell, the car has no issues at all, the lights just on. I had to reconnect my battery a few times, could that be it ?
What is the code it threw?

Have you had any issue with the TPMS light? Actually mine goes like this (.) instead of (!) and I have no turn signal light (the green one inside) or sound and that goes with the sound the car gives you if you leave the lights on or the key in the car and you open the door. Is so confusing
Did you check the owner's manual?
AnthonyJ350 don’t have it in hand
I see a lot of posts on forums that you have to disconnect the battery to reset the ecu.
Is this not needed on the 350z?
glennieb97 That's a different way to reset a vehicle. But the 350Z and G35 also have this built in procedure. It's nice because it gives you confirmation you've reset the vehicle.
AnthonyJ350 ahh okay! Thank you very much
If my car is tuned in the stock ecu and if i follow these steps, will i loose my tune ?
No your tune should not be affected by the reset.
I know this is old video but if I have a piggyback and I reset the ecu will it reset the piggyback tune
What do you have exactly?
Have 03 350z, just change the clutch. Now it keeps going into limp mode. Throwing camshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor & knock sensor. Have change all camshaft position sensor & knock sensor with same result, after resetting all codes. Suggestions?
Did you perform the ECU reset?

i just done this to my 350z and it worked at taking the light off but now every now and again the engine light comes on and flashed for a while then goes out? why is this? cheers
also it idles at around 500 rpm? it drops low after revving and sounds like its going to cut out or die but it doesn't and sits at 500rpm wish, any idea why?
Did you scan the car when the light was on to see what the car is trying to tell you?
The light doesn't come on at all , when ignition is trigger , what can be the fault
Did you go one click or two on the ignition?
good videos bro, one question i have a 2007 350z hr and i have the code p0345 camshaft position sensor bank 2 sensor a, my question is if you know if there are two sensor in each bank or just one, and if i do change one of them do i need to reset tge ecu, thanks in advance. ..
I'm actually not sure. Is the part number the same for both banks? Can you swap each side to verify it's the sensor?
AnthonyJ350
the part number its the same for both bank, at the dealer they told me that they are the same, but didn't tell me if there were two or just one, i replaced one, but nothing happens it get into limp mode a rough start and then died, and keep on towing same code p0345 camshaft position sensor bank 2 sensor A.....
Bank 2 is going to be on the drivers side, that the code for P0345, Code p0340 is for the passengers side. I just got this code today and did some research.
Love this video, helped me get the check engine light off in my car. But now my car isn’t turning on consistently. It will turn on here and there. Anyone have this issue
Did you scan to see why the light was on in the first place?
the check engine light came out again few hour after reset, what can i do? my pity z

Have you ever had the transmission serviced?
Hello Anthony , i've just purcased a used 2007 manual transmission nissan 350z with 130000km and discovered that had a big issue, when i'm between 1300 and 2000 rpm she's bouncing like there is a lack of power just for a moment, over 2000 rpm she works fine and change smooth but every corner is a problem i need to give lot more throttle to stay over 2000rpm (but do that everytime cut in half the life of my clutch) do u think that doing this procedure can help me? ...... thanks
the motor is a dual intake stock HR engine
Julian Brioschi Try it. Does the car idle ok?
AnthonyJ350 i can make a video to show you my problem
Julian Brioschi Please do
Thank you sm bro
Glad it worked!
Just disconnect the negative battery and pump the brake if he times that does it also and alotmore easy
To remove a check engine light and reset the ECU to relearn all it's parameters? I don't think it's that easy.
so I reset the codes with the scan tool but the light won't go out sometimes it flickers also when I turn headlights on the whole dashboard cluster flickers not the radio knobs or nothing else just the cluster could it be bad
Check to make sure your battery clamps are tight. Also could be a factory ground that's loose.
@@AnthonyJ350 I think there might be a bad ground it's a 2006 infinity qx56

I just put on a new throttle body and did the relearn but my idle is still stuck at 1100. I did it all right the light blinked and it's not on
For sure you saw the engine light blink the exact same way? It stays that high after you drive around and get to operating temperature?
I’m having the same problem. Took throttle bodies off to clean and did the relearn but idle is stuck
Hey buddy, i have a 350z.. It wont start.. I replace the ECM, IPDM and the BCM but still wont start.. I have done all the programing for new parts. Any idea? Thanks.
dunstan natsnud Did you check all the fuses related to ignition and fuel? Also do you hear the fuel pump priming when you first turn on ignition?
The fuse all fine.. Fuel pump is working good.. I have a Consult 3 so i can check the fault code. But cant find the solution. All the fault code is Can Comm and the ECM is missing from the diagnose or cant be diagnose.
Make sure the red light alarm is going our when key is starting engine. If it's not going out your key chip/transponder isnt doing its job. You need new key. Go to nissan
My 05 350z just got this problem it’s says p2135 as code but I wanna know if this method will work before I get that changed out
If O2 is actually the culprit this will reset the ECU and will relearn when you drive the vehicle. A vacuum leak could also cause a code like that.
@@AnthonyJ350 vacuum leak? They told me it was throttle bottle I drove 5 hours to visit my moms I gotta drive 5 hrs back will I be good till I’m home?
@@fresnosfuture2619 Do you run 91 octane I'm the car? If you have no choice but to drive it, keep the rpms well under 3K. Also check your oil level just because.
@@AnthonyJ350 yes I do and oil good gonna take it to dealership tomorrow
Update: Infinity 2004 Q56 works in the sixth light on/off then turn the car on..thats it, srs light disappears!
Francisco Castellanos That's cool, good to know it works across other platforms.
Hi there i tried to reset mine and it worked, but my stereo is not turning on thou 😅. What seem to be the problem
Blown fuse?
AnthonyJ350 not really cause i just changed my fuse last month, but yeah I'll give it a try tomorrow. And update here
My 04 z just randomly had a service engine soon light and the slip and TCS light turned on. After a few miles the car just stalled and stopped. Waited a few mins and it runs for a few miles then stalls... :/
Did you scan it to see what is causing the light/ problem? You might have a failed sensor.
+AnthonyJ350 yeah turns out it's camshaft :/ was reading they had recall years back.
BondxDD Is Nissan still picking up the tab?
+AnthonyJ350 have no idea :/
BondxDD You said there was a recall right? Usually safety recalls are always honoured, your case you might have to front the bill.
Please can you confirm if this will work after changing the crank position sensor as well instead of doing the crank relearn?
It's what I did when I switched my crank position sensor.
@@AnthonyJ350 Thank you! Will try today..🙏
Should I do this after I change my camshaft and crankshafts sensors?
Huncho Cris It would be a good idea to.
@@AnthonyJ350 is it necessary? Will it throw a code if i just replace the crankshaft and run the car without draining battery?
@@117obeyy Good idea to reset to the computer can relearn
Thanks man procedure worked !
Awesome, glad to hear!
Help lol did your ecu flash during relearn , my reset and after 5mins of driving game on and cars riding really aggressive
Only check engine while driving not sitting still
Lyndon Johnson make sure you follow every single step the most important thing in the procedure is the accurate seconds and the right pushes on the pedal when you need to press on it 5 times (hard/fast)
@@spiritliving9091 yeah I did all that when its idling there is no check engine light, when I drive it comes on and the car drives rough
It work to me 🙏🏻
Awesome!
