Hi, The Trip Reporter! We're glad to have you on our inaugural flight to Seattle. We hope the entire journey was smooth and enjoyable. We look forward to more journeys with you soon! ❤
Bring back LAS.
We were hoping also that PAL would use its 777-300 bound for saudi arabia
@@mahdisulaiman3829Nope they wouldn’t do that , PAL treat’s Middle Eastern Filipino workers as class B. You would think that they will use 777 ER because of it’s high capacity but no , they are racist to our own countrymen and women, they will use instead the old A330-300 with no flight entertainment system even on business class for a 9 hour flight, better fly with Qatar , Emirates, Kuwait,Etihad or even Saudia…
Next time maybe will be Dallas or Houston, Texas
@@markjoseph196 this is the reason why i already inform my manager not to book my flight this November with PAL ! Sadly pal doesn’t even care about middle eastern route and passengers
YAY DIRECT FROM SEA I can’t wait to fly on this plane!
Wow nice..
I miss cebu already, I always have that feeling too when I am flying back to the 🇺🇸
Wow great video! Something that my late parents who are from The Philippines would of been proud of!
Congrats PAL 🇵🇭 🎉🎉🎉
Hoping na sana makabili pa ang PAL ng maraming Boeing 777 at Airbus 350 🙏👌💕
Wala na yan 777. Puro A350 na lang.
A350-1000 😎
Interesting. All the writing I saw was in English. I LOVE the Boeing 777 of any variant. Philippine Airlines made a GREAT choice!!! Lets go for a ride!!!❤👌
I'm happy to see another new route connecting Philippines and the US. A wonderful experience
More nord passport bros 😂😂😂
They still have no flights to Europe 🇪🇺, thankfully Air France 🇫🇷 is returning to the Philippines after more than 20 years and will restart their direct nonstop flights between Manila and Paris Charles de Gaulle on December 08 and it will be 3 weekly flights, a big relief for us Schengen Visa holders and "Au Revoir" to pesky layovers.
So happy to see this route in SEA!! the YVR-MNL is on my to do list one day and we got a huge Filipino diaspora here and hope you come up to Vancouver again sometime, tons of Filipino shops here too
777 cockpit!!!😮 amazing vid🤙🏼
PAL Looking forward flying 777 300 E/R on which i worked on Fuel Cell of the Wing! Salamat sa upload Trip Reporter 🇺🇸❤️🇵🇭✈️
Thanks for this video! Well done and makes me feel convinced I want to try this. Only done it through Japan and Taipei and this is awesome
I've never flown on Philippine Airlines, however my cousin used to fly between Rome and London Gatwick on a Philippine Airlines B747. He used to say that it was an excellent flight with superb inflight attendants.
Wow the USA looks so beautiful, i wish i can visit it one day :(
Great video. I remembered PAL was supposed to launch to SEA long times ago and UA didn’t accept. They have a lot of Filipino in WA and OR. I had flown on PAL B77W before from MNL to BKK on business class Jan 2016.
think that was in 2020, (not for sure) think it was cancel due to covid
I’m so glad they have this now in Seattle and direct flight to Iloilo YAY!! Flying late December😊
Thank you for the coverage.
I flew them last year the 2-3-2 configuration is dated but they more than make up for the warm service and the food was outstanding.
Yes that is true. I flew the MNL -LAX and the YVR-MNL business class seating 2-3-2 last year. They have an -ex Garuda 777 with 1-2-1 seating, hope they keep it that way.
It was my mom’s birthday. Finally SEA-MNL-SEA route
One of my bucket list is to try an inaugural flight. Just chilling around having a good time appreciating a particular airline service.
I thought you were flying business class.😁. Nevertheless, I enjoyed watching this awesome video from start to finish. I've been thinking of visiting the Philippines after my contract ends. Greetings from Cincinnati, OH.
Nothing beats a long flight with an empty seat next to you!
Soo Good To See You All Your Food.Great Video And Info
It's great that they added a direct flight from Manila to the US particulary Seattle. I wish there will also be a straight flight from Sky Harbor in Phoenix which where I am based at. By the way, your trip report was awesome and i just subscribed.
Thank you for the vlog the Manila to seattle pal direct. So excited to try it soon!!
Great report! thank you!!
I was there also on that flight. So happy to experience this..tnx. pAL 😍
Thanks for the vid!!!!!!
I’m flying this route on nov30!!!!
Enjoyed the video. I'm scheduled on this flight Oct 20th.
I’m a regular flyer from Honolulu to MNL. Next month I’m going to try Guam to MNL🇵🇭👌🏾!
Definitely one of the best if not the best flight review❤
why does PAL's tailfin look so good in the dark? idk why but it always hits me with a wave of nostalgia (it was my first ever time flying, and it was in the dark on PAL)
Nice I'm in Tacoma. This is good
Very Awesome video thanks for sharing I am hoping to try out this new direct route one day!
It's about time ❤
One thing about crossing the Pacific is you go back 15-16 hours & repeat the same day all over again lol. Feels like you never left -Cheers!
husband speaking age 81.10 heading to Mactan Island Nov. 19th. Filipino wife of 48 years and I are heading for Vistamar Resort where we have
a large home waiting, a live in maid, two doggies and some warmer weather. Leaving Seattle on Asiana Air, ( poor class ). We go each Nov. for 3 or 4 months
at a time. This old American made his first trip to Manila and Cebu in 1978.
Alaska and Delta will surprise PAL arriving in SeaTac for the first time like yesterday night.
Thanks for sharing! Hope they keep using this B777 300 if not the A350 900.
That was exellent trip report ! Well done 👏👏👏👏
Dreams Big Every day is a million dreams times success thank you so much ❤️
Nice video bro. Thanks for sharing with us. Go PAL!
DUDE! I SAW YOU LANDING!
You went in the seventy-eight through Gate 6? Same one on my flight to the Angels last month, on their newest eighty-three. Can notice because of the Japan Airlines 787 parked beside from your camera-view.
Found out the British A380 on the hangar is G-XLEH at 13:07; and 13:13 onward, it seems that the Emirates A380 with registration A6-EOE and Wimbledon special livery left the same day early morning...
22:44 - Me as well... had never flown back to my old home-province for 13 years until 2023; so much has changed.
Would this route and v.v. last? One of their A330s has returned to serve flight 112/113 after weeks' hiatus. And welcome back to "Emerald City"!
Having flown more than 15 years from the west coast to the philippines on PAL..this is probably another service that will always be late...
Gives me a 3rd one-stop option to Manila! I last flew PAL in early 2017 but didn't get to film it for my channel, maybe next time.
Nice! new flight vlog again.
Nice video. and water canon salute
It's about time. Layovers can be very stressful. But i prefer arriving in Seattle in the day as oppose in the evening. You cannot beat the view when arriving in Seattle especially when the sky is clear.
Nice information
33" seat pitch and 18.5" seat width is up there with the best.
Very nice! thank you for this video. I also subscribed to your channel!
Glad to see Asian carriers recently established direct routes to Seattle again, China Airlines, Starlux, and now Philippines Airline. Also, Delta launched direct flight to Taiwan. Hope to see Cathay Pacific and Singapore airline soon.
Singapore has been back for a while, Cathay Pacific has no plans to return to Seattle anytime soon sadly
@@TheTripReporter Thanks you for correcting. Haven’t seen Singapore girls marching in SeaTac for a few years. SIA runs four direct flights to Seattle a week. Hope it can increase the frequency more.
Covid and Hong Kong government almost killed Cathay Pacific. Hope it can restore its glory but it has a long way to go.
Really good option but if you want to save money on Manila to Seattle try flying either 11:20-11:46 JL via NRT🇯🇵 12:45 BR🇹🇼 via TPE BR278 to BR26. Remember the Taiwanese competition BR25/271 can be cheaper than PR125. LAX-MNL via TPE versions you're looking at BR11/15 to BR271 vs PR103 daytime BR5/261 vs PR113
English?
@Orange-q2h6g it is in English and when I am saying is that it's actually cheaper to go to Seattle Tacoma in Los Angeles Tom Bradley International Terminal using the premium competition from Taiwan and Japan the 5 star rated and top 10 Skytrax Airlines JAL and Eva Air. If you want to do the same from New York City both EWR/JFK to NAIA RPLL same rules apply
What runway was that take off were there two four or six
24
lol, Manila airport only has one runway they can use the B777 on,
@@WRic86 manila has two but main runway used is24 or 6 there is a cross runway
@@brianocean5756 yes, been there many of times, cross runway never uses the 777 or the 350, only the smaller planes (A320?)
How about Seattle- Cebu?
Thanks for the video. How can PAL's 777-300ER Y seats be "slightly larger than other Asian carriers" ? You ought to check SIA's Y seating layout on its 777-300ERs.
I fly Philippine Airlines more than once a year from Honolulu to Manila. Now, I could fly from Honolulu to Seattle with Hawaiian Airlines and then to Manila with Philippine Airlines.
Nice trip. Sanaol unta puhon. Naa pud sa cebu bahalag stop asa mauna cebu or manila then USA na. Same sa qatar. Qatar-Cebu-Davao-Qatar
Hiw many hours of flight ✈️ MNL SEA and how many times u go to CR
I love the water cannon salute
Thanks for the contents. ❤👍 New subs here 🍺I love how you clean the plates 😂✌😍
I fly PAL out of SFO all the time good to see they have another route wonder how the pricing will be...compared to SFO and LAX
Will you fly with United via Tokyo-Narita to Cebu?
great video. Were they strict with the checked baggage weight. How would you rate the flight overall
Hi! I will soon be flying solo there. May I ask what kind of questions the PH and US immigration asked? I will flying soon from Manila to Seattle via PAL.
It depends on your passport, I hold US citizenship and I don’t get questions asked at either country upon arrival
How do you get the gopro footage to look good in low light? I have a hero10 and mine is all jittery inside the terminal
just a suggestion to your vid, put a bg music on it it's up to you what kind but it will helps you! but i like the ambiance for this video!
I wish that there would also be a PAL direct flight from Houston to Manila.
Does PAL has plan to open flights from IAD Dulles International Airport to Manila
they don't have enough airplanes. they had to cut back on their Manila/San Fran, to make the seattle thing work!
dati hanggang Las Vegas yan, sana buksan uli yun papuntang Las Vegas
Pagka nindota ani badi oi
I see a pretty good leg room on your video, would a 6foot tall be ok?
I’m 5’9 I think you’ll be fine for 6ft
Welcome to Seattle!
Wow congrats 🎉
NAIA now has a second destination to the Pacific Northwest after Vancouver and the 6th overall destination to the United States. From NAIA Terminal 1 in Parañaque to Sea-Tac Int'l Airport in SeaTac, WA, PAL did well to do this welcoming Filipinos to the Evergreen State aka Washington State.
See you soon philippine airlines 🛫
Is there a PAL code share with a US carrier for US connecting flights?
I know for a fact they have codeshare with Alaska airlines, not sure about the rest
Nice bro...
Nice report. How about United's inaugural flight from Tokyo to Cebu, are you gonna be on it too?
Their plan was to start that route in July this year but no idea what’s going on with them now
@@TheTripReporterI got moved, but it’s gonna start 2 weeks away, which is this year for United.
The Trip Reporter you should go from Seattle to Tucson AZ.
When did you book the inaugral flight to Seattle, do you remember how much you pay to fly Philippine airlines from Cebu to your 1st inaugural Philippine airlines, Boeing 777-300ER to Seattle and does it include 1 check in luggage and seat selection?
I have heard from some friends who have taken the PAL flight from Seattle to Manila and were not impressed with the plane condition and meals. It is sad that PAL has a bad review about the set conditions, entertainment systems outdated, and then the food quality. My wife and I want to take PAL on our next trip, but when compared to a few other airlines like EVA, KAL, Asiana, PAL cannot compete with their low prices and great service with food and entertainment systems. The only good choice for us using PAL is the direct flight to Manila and then connect to a PAL flight to Cebu. Comes down to $$$$$.
I tracked your flight PR124
That’s Really Awesome 😎
san damakmak na rin ba mga pinoy sa seattle?
When connecting from terminal 2 to terminal 1. Did you have to check in again even though you were checked through?
Nope, just took a bus to T2 then straight to security
For the sake of foreign travelers CR means: comfort room, toilet, lavatory, water closet, or the loo,
the ❤ of every Filipino, cool - PAL now operates the largest network of nonstop flights between the Philippines and the United States, serving Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Honolulu and Guam ❤.
Is PAL the lone direct flights on this route?
Yes
SSCer ka ba?
PAL for Heathrow when?
As your plane approaches to King County, WA, you got a good view of Seattle's city limits. I can see the Lumen Field (Seahawks' NFL home 🏈) and T-Mobile Park (Mariners' MLB home ⚾️) lit up south of downtown. Notice that Seattle is located between the Puget Sound to the west and Lake Washington to the east as it is located by water. If you want to stay in the best suburbs and satellite cities, I like Mercer Island, Bellevue, and most preferably, Redmond.
I was born and raised here in Seattle but good description
@@TheTripReporter, glad to have you born as an American to return to your birth place.
@@TheTripReporterCan wear Seattle Mariners, Seahawks, and SuperSonics Jersey in the flight.
6 U.S. cities? Does PAL fly to Chicago or Las Vegas? I thought only 5, including Honolulu. Thanks for the vlog!
They used to fly Las Vegas but they don’t anymore
New York JFK, LAX, San Francisco, Guam, Honolulu, and now Seattle
@@TheTripReporter Salamat po! Personally I don't count Guam because it's a U.S. Territory
@@jmccapturingmemoriesandjou1060 I don’t blame you for that
Hey, you got videos when you flying to Cambodia?!
Not in the near future but got plans to explore Southeast Asia more
How about returning the flight from LAS VEGAS to Manila
wow mayron ng flight from Philippines to seattle .
Intetesting trip report 👍✈️🇷🇺
7:00 seeing all of this, makes me feel like going to the lounge was a bad idea
Because I saw the inaugural flight land at SeaTac!
Where are the A350s of PAL?
