Breeze Airways (MX) is definitely not an ULCC. I've flown them about 12 times & their service is a bit closer to a legacy carrier. My experience on their A220s has been in the Ascent Class (Business/First) except for the two times I flew in the E190 & they only had Nice & Nicer class. All 3 sections of MX serve free water, coffee, & hot tea. The Nice section is their basic option and, like most carriers do today, everything is basically ala cart. The Nicer section offers 1 free checked bag, 3" more legroom, & you get to choose your seat assignment when you make the reservation included. The Ascent Class is the Business/First class seat, 2 free checked bags, seat assignment choice when you make res & snacks & drinks, including alcohol, is included. Seats in all 3 sections recline & Ascent has foot rests too. When we flew CMH-SNA last June, the F/A came multiple times to see if we wanted more snacks/drinks. It's been great service on MX every time.

Very nice! I'd say the mac & cheese is better, it's easier to eat and also softer. It also comes with a bread roll and so there's more variety in the taste.

9:23 Sun Country actually has some quite lengthy routes. They fly all over Mexico (about 4 hours), as well as Costa Rica (5 hours), and a number of Caribbean cities (their farthest destinations are Aruba and Saint Maarten, which are about 6 hour flights from Minneapolis, but they also serve San Juan, Punta Cana, Grand Cayman, Providenciales, Saint Kitts, St. Thomas, and Montego Bay in the region). They also have a flight to Anchorage during the summer, which is generally about 5.5 hours.

I have been on the 717 a couple times, as it's the only airplane that delta serves out of my home airport (except for 2 crj-900 flights and an a220 flight)

I do not know if Delta is still flying the 717 from Atlanta to Huntsville.

Ooooh, they got him a 717 trading card; I've actually scored multiple 717 cards and I cherish them.

This guy seems more focused on the SkyClubs than the actual trip; I was hoping for more about the 717; I know about the clubs and his little "boast" about his AmeEx status wasn't really nice.

Wow, was that you sitting in the captains seat? I had flown on the 717 many times with AirTran airways but never with Delta. I need to get on a flight since this would likely be the last chance to fly on a MD designed aircraft! I have flown on every DC-9 variant except the DC9-20. Nice video!

Okay, so it's really not "Premium Class" it is more like an Economy PLUS. Premium-class (or economy) really does look more like a Business-class seat (for domestic flights).

I am happy for ya! Mad Dogs won't be around much longer. Flew 2 trips earlier this year on one. ORD to MSP and back and DTW to ORD. Hate to see 'em go but you know it's coming.

Great report. The seats are the same old seats, just that they were re-upholstered. The cabin looks outdated compared to other newer cabins.
