I did this in 2021 and there were almost no people who did this. THere were no roads, no indication, just follow army truck tyre marks. In 23, most of the roads were made in dirt and flattened. In 24 (Nov 24), almost 40% is tarmac and by end of 25 this entire route will be tarmac.
When you're in the bike talking to your friend it reminds me of a plane pilot talking to ATC. It has that effect.

Yes we carried 10L of extra fuel in two jerry cans mounted on either side of Himalayan’s front frame.

Yes exactly. Those who want to enjoy off road should go to Ladakh in the next 2 years max. After that there’ll be Tarmac everywhere 😅
