You can still be famous and not be caught, it's hard to do in reality, but it's possible. The simple way is some kind of calling card or some tell. Look at Phantom Thieve stories, they are the most famous not only for what they do, but they always announce their target publicly to both make people aware and make things interesting and adds to their fame when they succeed.

His story is similar to many other infamous criminals, he has grown in a violent environment and was suffering a lack of attention care from his parents. That's a painful experience of almost all villains or ex-cons lived in their childhood.
Bad factories make bad products, a broken foundation cant hold the next generation.
It really seems like this childhood was the excellent recipe for the disaster he grew up into

The Iceman Tapes are very fascinating. He's intelligent, efficient, a little annoyed with the interviewer, and surprisingly charismatic in a serious kind of way. On one hand you'll hate him for how little he cares about what he did, on the other hand he pulls you in and you'll hang on to every word he says.

Wait a minute...I have researched Richard Kuklinski significantly over the past 5 years. He was my chosen case study for my serial killer's course in college (BA in criminal justice and BS in criminal psychology). I wrote a 25 page paper on Mr. Kuklinski's criminal history and life before incarceration. Perhaps my biggest focal point was Kuklinski's methods for body disposal and counter forensics that made him exceptionally difficult to catch.
While it is true that the "Iceman" Richard Kuklinski was without remorse for most of his crimes...he did regret one. During the filming of Iceman Tapes he talked about killing utilizing many differing methods. He expressed remorse for feeding one of his victims to rats while they were still alive. This video further shows a would-be hit list of sorts connected with red string. As a rule, Kuklinski never targeted women making the animation suspect.
I am now working on my masters in criminal psychology. Currently, I am studying two murderers that could potentially be the same person....Zodiac and BTK. They have very striking similarities that a far too numerous to list here. If anyone doubts this or is interested...research it. The Zodiac Killer might be alive and in prison right now (Dennis Rader).

I want to read that also, but I think that he had remorse of the killing of the guy he let pray to god for like 15 minutes to come and stop Mr. Kuklinski. He said he did that to show the soon to be victim that god isnt real and dont change the circumstances how much you pray.

Finally some more killers on this channel! Been waiting for an episode like this for a long while.
I have been studying the Iceman Kuklinski's story for years and inspired some of my writing. There have been others who have interested me but none like him. The movie really goes off the tracks of truth.
Alexander Solonik was a very, very scary hitman and possibly the best ever known. He also inspired Grand Theft Auto 4's main character, Niko Bellick.

My school counselor had a chance to talk to the ice man. She couldn't handle 30 seconds talking to him. She described him as someone who had no remorse in his killings. She said he had dead eyes and said he got into her head under 20 seconds. She was in college at the time during the interview. He said these words to her: "You're too soft to handle talking to serial killers. They'll get into your head in seconds. They'll have you convincing yourself to do things. They'll have you question things." Something along those lines I believe. He had her do just those things. She questioned so many things in seconds, and she said she was terrified. She had the guard walk her out of the room quickly. She said never before had she felt such fear.

I wonder how his kids turned out to be. It´s already a very bad start growing up in a hostile environment, but it gets only worse when there´s no clear frontline and the person that you deeply care about keeps hurting you...
Sure, you might say that if it happens once, that person is dead to you, but for most of us, we give a second chance and hope and for quite some time, our hopes may seem to come true... but then a relapse occurs...
I can´t really say that this applies to me, but I do know people like this and they got serious problems in establishing lasting relationships. I know one that swore to never get kids so that she can´t pass on those bad genes/bad habits!

He BTW never hit me, but he had the personality of an internet troll who's constantly jealous of the happiness and success of others and had the ability of a dementor to drain every bit of happiness and hope out of you... He also did a lot of gas-lighting and other covert hostile acts. One of them indirectly resulted in the death of my cat...

He is shown to not really abuse his kids, altho he might lose his temper but his kids was smart enough to get out of his sight, or he have enough self-control to not lash out on them. The beginning quotes they use are from an awesome doc called the iceman files if anyone is interested. One of the most chilling moments I've ever seen is in it when the interviewer asks him something he doesnt like. Kuklinski just looks the man in the eyes and said "you almost made me angry there" and when asked what he wanted to do he just quietly says "doesnt matter"
Richard - Ryszard was actually part of my family. I never met him personally but what ive heard of him he was a charming and very warm man with dark soul only knew about it. I saw some pictures of him from my uncle before he passed away in 1999. My family lives partly in U.S Greece and Poland. Im Polish.
I love how the only person this guy is comparable to is fictional characters. This is one scary dude. I’m glad he’s gone.
