Love you to pieces Jess! I'm an old lady, (41, lol, shwhateves) But when I was "about" your age, I had this terrible ovarian cyst on the left side that ruptured. That unfortunate event was followed by and even bigger, angrier ovarian cyst that just... destroyed lefty altogether. Then another one destroyed righty when I was 24. It wasn't ideal and hurt inside and out. But, such is life. All we can do is reorganize, repurpose, and pick up where we left off. You're bound for great things! Heal up, then pick up where you left off. Hugs from Chicago, you ROCK!

You and your mom have this SMILE that just lights up the screen. College is a BLAST. My son graduated last year and told me a few days ago he kind of missed it. I don’t know how many Snapchats I got of him walking home drunk from a party. I’m just happy he feels he can share that stuff with his mom. I know you have had a difficult time with pain and so glad they figured out what was going on. Hope that part of your life is past you now. HAVE FUN, stay safe, and enjoy the experience ❤️

I and my daughters have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, it manifests in a few ways, and we all have it to a varying degree, I had my children young, thankfully, but my baby, who is now in her 40s had plenty of issues with cysts, large brown one that ruptured, causing her intense pain and suffering almost monthly, she was told at 15 she would never have children, but I knew she would and yes she had 3 daughters herself, not without struggle either, I totally get your mum, and saying we get upset no matter what age our babies are is the truth, there are many reasons why God works in strange ways, I am very happy to hear you are...a tad better, and hope your out of the woods very soon, Merry Christmas to you all, xxx

We had a scare with our youngest son during his sophomore year of college. He hadn’t been feeling well and periodically was having very painful attacks, but he chalked it off to a bug that he was trying to fight off. Eventually he went to the Campus Health Services and they immediately sent him to a specialist. Long story short, he was just hours away from his gall bladder erupting. Emergency surgery went well but I can’t tell you just how worried we were and then so thankful for the wonderful care that he received.

Glad to see you are back at it. Declaring an accelerated healing for you. BTW we are neighbours "kinda/sorta" as my office building is not far from you. Though we are back to working remote full time now. When I look out the window from the office window I see the green houses and the horses over by OVC. My daughter is an U of G grad from about 10+ years ago. Today she is a French teacher at a school over on the East side of Guelph.

Hey Jess hope your beginning to real better and enjoyed your first semester. I sort of understand In my own way what your going through. I started ID nursing just finished my first semester and been sick for the past near three months. So you keep going you seem like a stubborn one and you won’t give in or up. Merry Christmas and a happy healthy new year ❤️
Jess I follow your Mom and always so happy when your in the videos. I hope you don’t mind but I had to follow you too.
I had 2 scary health issues. My first started by feeling full and little pains in my stomach area. One day the pain started like always but kept getting worse. My husband finally drove me to ER. They did every test I didn’t have a fever, my pain was not in area of Appendicitis etc. everything was coming back okay. They could see something on CT but nothing alarming. After hrs and hard they decided to do exploratory surgery in my stomach area. My Appendix was up behind so that is why they didn’t see it and had ruptured.
Years later we were selling our condo and I was lifting boxes etc. I woke up to horrible pains in my stomach area but they would go away. A few days later the pain hit and I was doubled over I ran to use the restroom and it was full of blood. Called my Dr explained off to ER.
They did Ultrasound knew it was not appendix etc. They said I probably lifted something to heavy and the blood could happen when you are in early menopause. I thought ummmmmm It was a few years in to menopause but I’m not a Dr. We move never had a pain again etc. I had lived in my new house 6months and was outside and I had a horrible pain asked my daughter to take me to my Dr. They send me to ER after many test the Dr comes in and says. We see something on your gallbladder and we think it can be a tumor. We are not taking to surgery tonight because we need a team so if it’s a tumor we have everyone we would need. We are admitting you and we will do surgery tomorrow. They found a almost as big as a tennis ball sac of infection in my gallbladder. If it would have ruptured I would have been very very sick and it was the right moment that I went to the hospital.
I have learned to listen to my body! These 2 scared me. I know what your going through take it slow and don’t be shy saying I don’t feel right etc. Get lots of rest don’t worry talk to your school about what you need to do and tell them what your going through. You have probably already have. You look amazing and have that beautiful glow.

Hi Jess. I saw you posted a recent video and watched it. College is tough, made tougher by health problems. I had heavy periods and bad pain between periods from what I learned many years later to be from endometriosis and ovarian cysts. During my second year of college, I was put on the pill to stop it for a while... bad mistake as I sick every day and the only meal I kept down was supper... which was when I had to take another pill again. After six weeks of this, I had to withdraw from school after my last midterm exam and be driven back home two states away. I feel empathy for you and pray you keep healing more each day. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers; I pray for all of you almost every day. Have a healthy and happy holidays, and G-d's blessings be upon all of you during the new year.

Praying you’re feeling much better, Jess. Don’t really know what your health issues are, but we just want you feeling well. Merry Christmas, sweetie! Hope 2022 treats you way better! I put school and jobs before my health, and it was a mistake for me in the long run. Took its tole on my health, and I’m still paying the price. No one’s situation is the same, so we’re just wanting it all to work out for you to be happy. I’m glad you left school in time to get surgery before Christmas. I would have freaked out if I had to miss an exam when I was your age, and now I know that all that meant very little compared to my health. I wish I could go back in time and know that! Saying that, I hope you get to make up the exam when you feel better so the time you put in can get you the credits you earned. Love to you and your family! Rest up, girl! ❤️👍🏻🙏🏼
