Absolutely love this! Been crocheting for about a year. You demonstrated enhanced versions of some tricks I’ve learned along the way. Absolutely LOVE how you make a single crochet and chain to make the perfect attachment to join rounds and how you do the invisible stitch at the end. Thank you! **edit** I also noticed that when you slip stitch, you insert the hook into the back loop! I’ve never seen that before! Looks so much more neat!
I've never seen this!!! How FANTASTIC!! I've been crocheting m9st 9f my life, but never granny squares. So now that a need some to add to an afghan, I just can't stand those Ch3 and sloppy patterns. This solves it all. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this!!! I'm so excited to try it tomorrow!!! Austin TX USA
After watching countless videos, yours is the best one I have found. I particularly like option 2. I am a novice crocheter, but I can't understand why some people publish a square with a visible seam or one that has chain spaces. Thanks from Australia.
@@crochetcabin6160 You are too kind ! Thank you so much for the response 🥹 I'm honestly not used to people actually responding! ❤️ I look forward to possibly seeing that video in the future !
@crochetcabin6160 I know how to do a two toned granny square, however I struggle with making the split perfectly down the diagonal and the colours tend to encroach just a bit on the other half right at the beginning of each 2nd half (if that makes sense) and I am doing mine gapless specifically
When I do the slip stitch, can I insert the hook underneath the chain (effectively on top of the SC) so that two strands are used? This technique seems to make the work more sturdy.

I have a question ! Do you have a tutorial or possibly could do a tutorial on how to do a two toned (diagonal triangles) granny square?
I do not have that tutorial at the moment, but I will put it on my to-do list. 😊
