    When is someone going to come up with a restaurant that serves low carb dishes like this?

    We just recently made these and loved them. We are on THM (Trim Healthy Mama) so when doing low carb days/ meals the Keto recipes work great and we love them. My daughter doesn't like messy hands so she put the mayo in a zip lock with the rings of onion and mashed them around for a second and it coated them just perfectly. Loved the topping, too.

    Just started Keto and I have to say, your videos have been SO helpful to me! Thank you SO much for investing your time and energy to bring these videos! Felt like a long time between this one and the last one though :-) I started about 4 weeks ago and not only feel so much better but my cravings for sugar has gone! Yeah! Consequently, I lost 10 lbs. My husband is now joining me on this way of eating and I've gotten my sister along for the ride too! I just want you to know how much we appreciate you generously giving your time to bring us these videos! Bless you!

    I love all your videos! I am originally from Raleigh, NC and now live in Melbourne, Australia. I worked for Harris Teeter for 16 years before moving down under and I love seeing you use a lot of their products. Anywho, I am 45 years old and moderately active and started the keto diet 9 days ago. I have dropped 11lbs so far ( or 4.9kg in Australia)so I am down from 313lbs to 302 in 9 days! . I feel so much better with only a small amount of weight loss and as of today haven't need any meds for back pain. I suffer from sciatica and degenerative disk disease and decided that enough was enough! The weight has to come off! Your videos help me so much! Thank you! Thank you!

    I love you ladies! Always look forward to every video! I saw keto onion rings on a website recently which were basically onions wrapped with bacon, and thrown on the grill.... Oh my goodness! I can't wait to try that recipe!

    I just found your channel and you are costing me money as I just ordered the stuff to do the Dorito dust powder, which I might end up eating on just about everything. It might even be good on those onion rings. I tried making low carb onion rings before and it was a disaster but I didn't try mayo as a coating and I was tying to use almond flour and parm cheese and egg. I'm going to try it your way. I'm going to be looking at all of your other recipes now. I'm glad you are doing the math for me. Honestly though I could eat that whole batch of onion rings all by myself. I love onion rings. I also think I could use that same coating to make friend pickles and mozz sticks and stuffed jalepenos.

    You and your daughter are so cute. Really love watching your videos. I really wish that there were more cooking shows on television like this. So many people are adopting the Keto or Paleo or some other form of low carb lifestyle because it helps control their weight where they are not hungry, including myself. It also helps with controlling blood sugar levels. It seems kind of strange to me that with so many people facing diabetes in this country, that this lifestyle is not promoted more. I had recently went to a website called `Lighter`, which is a vegan website. I asked the question of if this diet was good for a person with diabetes, and was told that as of right now they did not have a diet for a person with diabetes, but I could always substitute higher carb ingredients for lower carb ingredients. That really answered my question right there because the vegan community are always saying that a vegan diet could control diabetes, well to make a long story short, They tout that diet as a diet for all including diabetics( The experts) but they could not help me.

    • @awesomeopossoms
      @awesomeopossoms 8 років тому

      Vegans have around 65% less diabetes compared to other diets. Look up intromyocellular lipids and their role in type 2 diabetes.

    Am I so out of the know I wonder because I don't what Spanish Onions are and don't think I have ever seen them in the produce section of any grocery store? Can you reply with a bit of explanation about them? Thanks so much and glad to see you back Kristie! I always enjoy your videos.

    • @CookingKetowithKristie
      @CookingKetowithKristie  8 років тому

      If you pay attention to the different bins in the grocery store, then you should notice onions that are labeled differently. Vidalias tend to be super sweet and everyone's favorite. Spanish onions have an orange-bronze skin and are generally less expensive.

    • @johnsonstringperform
      @johnsonstringperform 6 років тому

      Look for yellow onions and white onions. Vidalias are seasonal and more expensive where I live. They are also known as sweet onions.

    I'll have to make some changes because here in France there are no pork grinds unfortunately and also I never cook any vegetable fat it's pretty unhealthy, it's akin to eating hydrogenated fat.
    So I'll probably coat them in duck fat or lard and see what I can come up with instead of pork ... maybe I can fry chicken skin and grind it ?

      Not sure why you are no grain, but oat fiber is gluten free and is made from the hull, not the actual grain. The fiber benefit is exactly equal to the carbs so net carb is 0.
