- It was a snowy day in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and I figured it was the perfect day to grocery shop. I was planning out some freezer meals and preparing for a batch cooking day. So come along with me to Trader Joe's, Aldi, and briefly Total Wine & More.

I like the long format video. Great idea to walk the freezer aisle to get ideas for freezer meals!
omg! i love total wine and totally agree, the little carts are so nice :) i liked the long form video as well, and i always love seeing what other people buy & have at their aldi
I LOVE the little carts too! there's just something about them that's so satisfying hahaha
Seriously! I was so upset when Meijer changed their tiny carts.
I love this long-format video. It was interesting to see your thought process and how that will shape your menus. I do a lot of cooking for myself, so I use a ton of freezer meals for one - souper cubes are great for that! I noticed you using an app for your shopping list. What app is it?
The app is called Clear. It’s just a basic list app.
I enjoy these "wander the store with me" videos as I watch while working in the background 😀 Panera has/had a yummy spinach artichoke egg souffle that I bet you could do as egg bites for another flavor. I think they had some red peppers in too if you want another pepper use.
I’ll have to look into that, it sounds great! I love spinach artichoke anything.
I love your content! Yes it's cold here in Michigan as you know. I'm on the other "side". Still cold. I need to revisit Aldi's. We also have a Trader Joe's that I haven't been to in years so I should stop in there too. The prices you showed were great and I'm in Michigan too so maybe some variation but probably not gobs. We shall see! Thank you!
This was so inspiring! I loved the long format, watching you walk thru the stores, I got so many great ideas. Like, hello? I can make my own favorite salsa verde enchiladas tv dinner lol. I just started using the souper cubes and I think it's time to get into couponing or at least checking the ads. Cause these food prices are already bad and they're just going to get worse. Anyway, I'm off to watch more of your videos while I work lol.
I am so glad this was helpful with ideas. Yes, making my own tv dinners is my favorite.
Hi from South Bend, Indiana! We love Sprecher! Menards has the best price… like around $3.99 I think. 🙂
I had no idea they sell it at Menards! That is so random. Thank you for letting me know
OH want to hear about the "stick" hashbrowns for the breakfast casserole that you mentioned. Also, wondering why cutting the patty hashbrowns wouldn't work? Too flat? Interested in that too!
@@melissmich23 it’s coming in the next video. And cutting patties would totally work! I just saw the stick ones and wanted to try them out.
