Outstanding build. Every color and finish look fantastic. Really something to be very proud of. If there were a national museum for people to park such well-done renovations, Yours would certainly be parked front and center.
Maybe I missed it but I didn't see a contact address / e mail or telephone number in the description or in the video? Beautiful restoration, especially the original details are awesome! Great job! I wouldn't be surprised if there would be a bidding war cause Avions in this condition are rare and sought after!
I like the quiet simplicity of the interior with a bit of nostalgia thrown in. Nicely done! May I ask where you purchased the counter top Formica? I’m restoring a 1966 Roadrunner canned ham and have not found one I’m crazy about. I like the gloss and pattern on yours!
We are restoring a 1982 Avion, I am curious as well about the Formica countertops in the kitchen, bathroom and on the extendable table. You have done a fantastic job on your renovation!
Thanks ! That color and pattern is no longer available. Its "Formica Jonathan Adler Collection Green Lacquered Linen Gloss".Its too bad they discontinued it.They also had an off white and grey that I have used. Thanks for watching and commenting : )
Very inspiring! We have an 87 34W. I have a few question if I may. 1. How did you handle the under the bed storage? I assume the bed lifts up and if so which way? 2. the cabinets above the headboard - were those already there? We only have them on the back/right side 3. What size mattress? Is it a standard queen? 4. if you have any pictures of bed frame/storage you could share I would love to see. Fantastic build!
Hi, The bed works just like the original I just made it larger to fit a KING size bed. The overhead cabinets are original,Yours most likely had the walk around Full Size bed since they are missing. I did add silver laminated panels and led lights to the underside of the cabinets.
That must’ve been an expensive and time consuming procedure. Looks awesome! I just bought an ‘85 ,31-foot avion silver edition . It looks like the last residents lived like rats, oh wait they were rats!
Hi Brenda. This Avion was just very shiny. The original anodization was in good condition for its age.A good product for Avions was Par Fe Liquid wax.But this is no longer available.I've yet to find anything better, but some high quality wax should clear up most issues on the exterior of an Avion. Thanks for the comment : )
Beautiful job!! We have a 1987 Avion 34v that we've renovated. They are the best trailers! Do you have a source for the replacement range/oven? It looks like it fits well in the existing space. Thx
Hi Brenda. On this trailer I used a Furrion FS21DB4A-SS.You can buy these direct from Furrion.I really like these units.Hope this helps. Thanks for Watching : )
Hi what did you do with the roof vents replaced/where available? Or did you permanently cover them over w aluminum? Thanks debating on mine. I never use them just seems like the only possible vice for a leak on these babes
Hi Phyllis,I buy new vent covers from Vintage Trailer Supply,I would not cover them,You want the nice light coming in. However VTS is currently out of these. But they will have more. Thanks for watching : )

Can you put a list of issues you dealt with and the cost to rebuild.
Beautiful...well done!!

Nice job

How did you get it so shiny?? I have an ‘83 and can never get it that shiny
good ol fashioned spit shone.
