Boy does that Disney music bring back memories. I'll never forget Saturday morning cartoons and Sunday night Disney movies. Those were the good old days.
He's dead But his under studies ( star wars mob ) don't have the heart and warmth of sir walt Disney that's why as they say in Scotland Disney Disney make films like this anymore they're all cold and emotionless detached from reality void of any human feelings and empathy filled with violence sex and vulgar speech ., which appeals to today's dumb girls and boys 😢😢😢
Those were the days. We watched Disneyland show after dinner on Sunday night after our baths. The Golden days. These shows and sweet movie could've been shown again during coved lockdown. To give children of today something better to watch than stupid video games. Like smoking the makers of these games are making rotten little Stinkers out of our children. The makers of these games of addiction should pay for the therapies needed to fix the damage. Bring back Beautiful movies like this one. Who remembers Walt Disney introducing Animal Kingdom. I loved the Big Cats. Still entertaining and you got a some information too.
I was thinking no wonder some of us think the way we do. My brothers may not understand this was the way we may have seen things. The music opening with the colour of life. ' wonderful world of colour' some of us grew up with programs like this.
Butch Patrick really shines in this one. So does Ed Andrews as Bert. Especially toward the end when he realizes that Bumper was better off with the people who could care for him and he gets Bumper to go back.
Eddie Munster, I didn't know he was a Disney baby, maybe he couldn't sing &/or dance yet. But he could act really well for a youth. All of them did a wonderful job acting in this movie. It was great.
*Nothing is much sweeter than lil baby Lambs and Border Collies,* 💕 I so miss my Border Collie 💖 and my Min Pin 💜. *Dogs are pure blessings from God.* 🌅✨💫
An itinerant orphan loses his defensive shell after meeting a warm and understanding family. A hard-shelled, itinerant orphan softens after meeting a warm and understanding family. A rebellious kid with a chip on his shoulder who learns the meaning of life when he's taken in by a shepherd. This movie is an emotional tear-jerker as Bumper tries his best to make it in the world alone. A real 'feel-good' movie. Classic entertainment from Walt Disney.
@cassandra9699 Your comment is the perfect example of satins confusion for he is the master of confusion. Trump is not our leader, Joe Biden is and has proven to be the demise of our country, unless you are an illegal or living off the government when you are able to work. There was once pride in these United States of America but drugs and free rides has stolen much of that away. For 3 years we have watched satin values soar while our Father in Heaven has no place in peoples hearts. But if you do have Jesus in your heart, the riches of this world are just that, this world which is only for a short time. Our eternity with our Father is really the only thing that truly matters. God bless you and keep you in His eternal hand.
Walt turning in his grave after saying he had questionable values He wouldn’t had built Two Disney’s World and had movies on screen and TV Whoever running Disney Now is questionable letting Men dress up as Fairy God Mothers or whatever lol sick
Thanks for uploading ths rare Wonderful World Of Color episode The Young Loner, i just realize that Butch Patrick from the musters is in this as well.As he was also in Way Down Cellar, another disney film.
God is good all the time and I believe God will help me with all the kids are blessed to have you and your family are well ❤️🩹💗💕 Love you guys are doing well.
Is it that movie producers don't give a damn, showing their evil thoughts in movies where children are involved? They should condemn these individuals.
Una película muy emocionante, donde un niño sufre mucho, porque no tie sus padres y vive en casa de outras personas que no lo entienden. El final de la película me ha dejado en dudas...
@41:41 thru @41:48 owl and boy starts walking towards owl, then can see owl in mid-air in background as owl tries to keep boy back from himself. Cool owl.

I had to laugh at the 22 cents per gallon of gas thinking we'd sure take it today. I remember my dad talking about 10 cents per gallon. I'd like to have yesterday's prices with today's wages.
The Young Loner: Directed by Michael O'Herlihy. With Edward Andrews, Kim Hunter, Butch Patrick, Frank Silvera. A shepherd (Frank Silvera) and the woman (Kim Hunter) he works for befriend a homeless orphan crop picker (Butch Patrick).

I like the old beat up truck. But then I’ve always loved the old cars and trucks with those graceful fenders and lines from the 20s and 30s.
Disney doesn't make movies like this any more, what a shame.

Slow moving movie, but perfect for a rainy day or a lazy afternoon. There are NO commercials in this movie, which is a bonus. 🙂

When it was Walt’s spirit of righteousness and human values. Not like today, a nest of perversion that has become.
You don’t think Butch Patrick is a flamer?
Walt had questionable human values

Back when Disney supported morality, instead of perversion, and insanity, as they do today.
That’s for sure! I won’t give them a penny now. They should remove the Disney name - they have ruined it.
