I mean i beat phantom today as he resigned early cause he knew he had 0 chance . But that happens to everyone ... Its just a game , dice game . So luck is definetly i would say 50% of the game in 1v1s

I think in the second game, the obvious mistake of the first road direction spiralled into making everything harder for you, ultimately resulting in the loss, of an otherwise a well played game
but...you ARE the best in the world! People get SO mad in this game that it's kinda funny.

Lol at that guy at the beginning saying Catan rigs the games for you. Like i love your content and watch it all but you have 7K subscribers and colonist had an average of 750,000 monthly active users in 2022. They haven't posted up 2023's stats yet but theyve grown considerably year over year so probably over a million. The idea they'd risk that ecosystem showing favoritism for presumably the small amount of free advertising is so laughable.
Also, in order to give the "good seeds" and "good rolls" to a specific player they'd need to be able to accurately guess what that player is going for, which means they'd need a bot that understood gameplay mechanics at an advantanced level. And if they had that they could get a lot more out of just using that bot as the bot player and giving players more of a real challenge then having it just waiting around waiting for youtubers to come on to rig the games.

The 2nd game i think u should have taken the 9 5 10 double wheat Nd brick instead of the 694. U already had sheep and it would have forced him to either without wheat and not be able to build to any bc u u were in the way. Or go without brick. Then u would have been the road and an dev player.

It is a little funny how you said you weren't lucky and the next game you got a 5 6 9 OWS into the wood port w/ a 6 and two 8 wood spots on the board, rolled a 7 right when your opponent got their third point, and got the 50% chance at an ore to city early on. I know not every game goes like that, but it was a bit ironic.
Nobody mentions when he gets bad luck; it happens just as often, and he still wins more games than he loses.
Well, it is a game about rolling dices... Luck is going to decide multiple things every single game, however, it evens out over many games. Yes, you are going to lose around 1/3 games just on pure bad luck and win 1/3 on pure good luck, it is the remaining 1/3 where skill really matters. His very high win rate and rank globally show that he is head and shoulders above almost everyone else.
