do you have to walk a mile for every boss like in dark souls 3? i wanna play bloodborne but if i have to walk 3-4 Minutes each time I die to a boss i will not fucking do it.

So i really wanna get into the other games, am I doing something wrong? I killed the Abyss Watcher and then just stopped. I had absolutly no Idea where to go and I did not do any damage to for example the boreal dancer biatch (I leveled up tho a quite a bit).
@@marcus6918 its not too bad at all. The only one that annoys me is Logarius which is an optional boss (although worth beating so you can get the chikage and do the executioner quest)
@@marcus6918 after the Abyss watcher boss fight, there is a door to the crypts in the end of the room. On a first playthrough, you’re not going to kill the boreal dancer at that point in the game. She is supposed to be killed before you make your way to the last lord of cinder, not after the first, so that’s why you struggle with it a lot. She can be summoned earlier, but yeah, wasn’t meant to be killed on early levels with early, probably barely upgraded weapons. The walk backs are only going to be worse after DS3 and Elden Ring though. DS3 already has one of the more forgiving walk backs most of the time, so if that’s a no-no to you, then you probably won’t enjoy other souls games
My best friend showed me dark souls when we were kids. I tried playing it on my own and got stuck for 4 hours on the skeleton graveyard in the beginning. he unfortunately passed away but i try like every couple years to beat a souls game. especially ds1. It inspires me seeing you and other players get so good at the game. Lies of P is the closest ive gotten so far. Wish me luck buds!

I've played Bloodborne once and it was my first fromsoft game ever! I knew nothing and I'm sure my first 100 deaths were just in the first area trying to progress! I kept dying over and over and I thought if it's like this I'll never progress. It was pure anxiety! When I finally managed to get to cleric beast and died to it immediately I was like wtf is this game 😅 idk how I kept going but I bet everyone has had their wtf is this fromsoft story lol! I ended up beating the game all bosses but orphan 😭 he's still haunting my dreams but I'm too afraid to try again lol! Good luck Parky for the deathless, that's so hard! But if someone, you can do it 💪
I think the trick to Bloodborne in particular is to try and let go of that anxiety and try to match the enemies' and bosses' aggressiveness. Orphan is for sure intimidating, but when I stopped worrying and started aggressively closing the gap with him, and dodging and attacking like crazy, that's when I won. My heartrate was crazy by the end, but it was an amazing feeling!
@@GASPERL1 that's 100% the answer in Bloodborne! Be aggressive was the best advice I ever got and it helped me progress. I started the game in 2019 and took few months to get to orphan. I tried him over and over and over. Eventually I gave up for years until Elden Ring came out, I beat it with all bosses beaten and I thought I had learned something and fired up my old 3 year old bloodborne save, nope I hadn't learned anything lol! I was of course even worse, but it had always bothered me that I never finished the game so I swallowed my pride and beat Gehrman and Moon precense without issues. Someday I'll beat him and it'll be glorious
i dont understand why they have not made a remaster of this game or even a remake like they did with demons souls, i think it would hit even the same as elden ring, this game is a masterpiece, love the vids parky i also try to be there on the streams, you are actually authentic and fun to watch, hope you get nominated
Usually helpful, but in a deathless run she'll have the 1 insight gained from entering the fight no matter what because part of the challenge involves not using a Hunter's Mark to leave the fight. Good thought, though.

In a Polygon video analyzing the first gameplay trailer of Elden Ring, they called Malenia "Girl Boss" because I guess that's a genre now. A very difficult female boss with multiple phases, fast attacks, and hard hits. Lady Maria gets to be a part of this club
Replayed this game kn the holidays christmas 2023. After 5 years and despite i already beat games like Sekiro, elden and lies of pi. This game still has his difficulty spikes. Chalice (that werewolf) all the dlc, that village man during moon phase. Game kicked me hard. Still beat the game with good ending but i was surprisde how this game stills hold up the challenge.

From doesn't really own the rights to do that. Sony has such a chokehold on the thing, that they can't do anything with it. No remake, no bloodborne cart allowed, no updates or changes. Until Sony lets go, which they likely won't do since it's too late now, there will never be a BB Remake or even a BB2. Not that a sequel would be necessary, of course.
So, like, Bloodborne is the best deeply flawed game ever but its like you're not allowed to say that because Bloodborne fans are like the Drake fans of FromSoft games. The base game bosses are largely not that good. It's frame capped. The chalice dungeons are bolted on. It doesn't function if there's too many enemies on screen. It's like people take how good the DLC is and they say the whole game is that good.
I agree. It's still a fun game with amazing atmosphere but I prefer games like Sekiro or Lies of P myself. Also not having to worry about farming heals is frankly great.
@@ayaanabdullah937 I never had to farm heals playing BB. Farming heals is super inefficient, all you have to do is after leveling up buy heals for the rest of the echoes and farming bullets is super easy.
I hate people that always relate to stupid Malenia cos without Lady Maria and Sister Friede of Dark Souls 3 there wouldn't be any Malenia at all 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
