Sensible decision to buy same make of loading shovel. You,ll have a lot of spares etc & attachments !!! Good to see Uncle Ian on the go. See Father Phil is fair chuffed with 1200 No 3. Hope all goes well for ye in workshop doing repairs to shovel & MF1200,s. Great video as usual Phil. Really enjoyed it.
Good luck with the loading shovel, it will be no bother to ye to sort the couple of issues on her, good to see uncle Ian out & about best regards to him
We will be watching on later after a busy Sunday so glad to see Uncle Ian best regards to him. Will see what you have bought another machine for Father Phil. You make us relax and help us to unwind we love Farmer Phil and family.Good luck 🍀.
Great video. Very interesting about the 1200 being #3. Interesting new machine on the farm. Good thing that you have lots of spare parts & all the knowledge of Father Phil. It should be good to work really soon.
You were so welcome for the lend of the 1200 manual keep it for as long as you need and the indicator was the brothers doing he's glad to see it finally getting used and is fond of 205 gti's as he prepared a few for racing back in the day 😀
What father thinks is a geer somewhere between 2nd and 3rd most likely is 3rd it's just a little slower than the 3rd he's used to on the old machine because of the smaller wheels so it sounds like second like second is missing and as he says checking the solenoid for 2nd would be the place to start looking,
That's a fine tidy machine Phil, well ware. Hopefully father Phil gets the wee issues resolved 👍🏼 If you have to take the panels off when you change the wheel size, is there a way to put panels back on her by hanging them rather than on hinges? It's be good to prevent grass blowing in around the engine,it's a seriously clean and dry engine. Well ware again 🍀
Lovely video. The interrupting calves made me laugh. Great to see uncle Ian making a cameo appearance and the enthusiasm and know how of Senior and Yourself Phil.
When you put the bigger wheels on would you not be able to trim the side guards to open over them? Would help stopping dry grass off wheels getting dragged in to radiator when on pit.
Have just traded in a case 321b after 25 yrs use. 15500 hr on the clock and no issues. Just a smaller version of your one. Great loader and served us very well
great move buying the shovel best of luck with it . she looks well minded for a machine 21 years old. if I were you I'd get your 1200 under cover and well hidden there's a lot of people would love to have it keep up the good work 👍
The early volvo's 4400 loading shovels were prone to the same thing on the shuttle stalk. Good looking machine for the age I'm sure your dad will sort out the faults👍💯
I drove a brand new L70 and the shuttle stalk would pack in after @ 700 hrs use . It had forward and reverse on a rocker switch also by the bucket levers but by bad design that would not work when the shuttle packed in ?..Are you sticking a little side tip bucket on the new shovel for your corn mill .It would make the job a bit easier me thinks ..
Smart thinking lads stick with where the spare parts are yous are really gathering up the yolks now glad the 1200 serial number came up good as well hope ian is good love to listen to him and your dad at the stories brilliant all the best to the stewart family stay safe
Shovel looking tidy lads great to see uncle out checking to see what you two are upto bet he will have a go at the silage with the new shovel if hes feeling fit.
Great video guys!! Little bit disappointed ye didn’t go for a JCB but ya would have paid through the nose for it….. so well wear on this little beast!! Phil I think you better start writing ✍🏽 down all of what Father Phil/fountain of knowledge knows as it’s soooo much to take in 🤔😉😂
That looks like a COBO fnr lever, more than likely is as its an Italian made machine. There complete rubbish and break the wires as you say, you can fit a swf or a hobbs lever which is of much better quality all you need is perhaps a spark yo configure the plug wiring to make sure it does the correct switch changes.
Thats a fine looking loader for its age and a good purchase for you when yous already have spare parts if ever needed.Sure father Phil could rebuild it with his eyes closed no bother.Best of good luck with it and its great to see uncle Ian out inspecting the new purchase.God bless you all and safe farming.🙏🙏❤
First and foremost Good health to your uncle . Who would dare suggest a JCB,.I replaced a case RTL with a 926 JCB,and it's a pig Thirsty too with a throbbing engine ,we've now decided to give the old case lady a full overhaul and flog the jcb. Father Phil is a fountain of knowledge and so pleasant to listen to ,unlike that other nerd Utuber farmer up around Cavan whom I suspect is all flash and no cash
Well you haven't got to the cost of going out and buying all new attachments as him bucket fork most ever you've got spares from the other machine which is going to save I think you've done well
Well may she wear lads. It'll do the job grand for now and sure wouldn't it be a right yard loader for feeding the cattle when you decide to go to something newer for the silage and dung.
Hard to say what the years may bring Looks a little tough for awhile. Good job save some money. Phil, Does father enjoy fixing all the time ? Or would he rather be playing with old tractors?
Great video Phil it makes total sense as having the other one for spares it’s a grand machine Father Phil you can listen to singalong fm absolutely classic 😂
I am afraid I wondered if it was a similar model from thumbnail 🤔🙂, I remember you saying a bit ago about you thinking the maybe the same as a 6290 so before your dad said I thought you'd ought to be saving the engine and not scraping it grest to hear about the 1200
Well Phil have you seen the video Olly Blogs has up of meeting Massey Dave doing up the 1200s and 1250s well worth a watch he had it up on Day 713 best of luck with the loader
its alan miline tractors its alan millan tractors both mean the same its the way its spelt my brother buys all his small digger here in the north his yard in the north is on the armagh rd out of newry

Great looking machine hope it does you well, great to see uncle Ian.
Best of luck with the new loader, it looks a well minded yoke......you could twin the wheels now for pushing up, take the pull off her
Nice 👍 bit of kit farmer Phil. Bro @ farther Phil was great on the camera 👍👍👍👍
Good video Phil, nice clean shovel great to Uncle Ian outside looking at it arriving
Best of luck with the loader lads... at least it will only have light crops of silage to push up this year!!
Great to see uncle Ian out and about hope he is feeling well
Lovely video. The interrupting calves made me laugh. Great to see uncle Ian making a cameo appearance and the enthusiasm and know how of Senior and Yourself Phil.
Loader on the old machine would be a nice bit of heavy steel plate for something and rams could sell for log splitters sort
When you put the bigger wheels on would you not be able to trim the side guards to open over them? Would help stopping dry grass off wheels getting dragged in to radiator when on pit.
No doubt Father Phil will know where every nut bolt and screw fit, it is a pleasure watching him repair your farm machines, well done lads.
Have just traded in a case 321b after 25 yrs use. 15500 hr on the clock and no issues. Just a smaller version of your one. Great loader and served us very well
Oh Brilliant to see Uncle Ian out. The Main Driver.

She does look good
Fine clean looking machine, health to wear!
That's a nice loader. I am sure you will get it sorted okay. Will look well when you get the bigger wheels on it.
Could you not nick a bit around the doors so that it can open and close when u put the big wheels on.it would look better
