Yes. In fact, Ascended!Astarion will rehush all the same rules to Tav that were imposed on him - be obedient (you'll be so wonderfully obedient), don't leave his side (you won't stray too far), and the whole "be mine" (that one is actually word for word). The only one he omits is drinking the blood of the thinking creatures, and only because your fighting abilities are so important to him.
Astarion does actually try to bite you, and you can point out when you awaken that he was about to do something incredibly stupid. He admits as much and claims it was hunger that drove him to it.
It happened on the first or second long rest for me. I think the pre-requiste is to not let anyone in your party know you're a vampire before this happens.
So when he feeds on Tav/DUrge, he was trying to prove to himself he was free? Oh man, that's so sad... :c
now the scene hits different ;_;
Gale is so hilariously chill about the whole affair. Those two must get along swimmingly.
They are two sides of the same coin after all :D
Omg, Cazador's line at 1:05 is exactly the same as Vamp Lord Astarion when Tav tries to break up with him!

That Karlach to Gale bait and switch is so funny. XD
Not gale baiting Astarion 💀
Gale let him bite you. Imagine Gale curled up with a book in his hands while laying in bed while Astarion nibbles on his neck.
mmmm that tasty cursed netherese blood 😋😋😋
Gale offers Astarion to bite him in Act 3 even when both are companions. Astarion declines.
I wonder, if you play as Karlach, can you never get the Astarion bite scene?
That.. is a very good question. I may have to test haha

How do you trigger this nightmare? I'm in the underdark and still haven't seen it. Yes I'm playing as origin Astarion

@@sharnavanhyatt1728 Ah. Thank you, that makes sense. I thought I'd kept it secret a bit longer but clearly I was too excited to bite stuff.
