By spicy, you want heat or flavor or both? The pickles in India are spicy, if your going to Kerala, they have fish pickle and meat pickles...
There's soo many spicy dishes in India...
If your in Rajastan state, try Laal Maas with romali roti
If your in Nagaland try the Pork Curry
If your in the North East , try the Phaal Curry (super spicy)
If your in Goa/Kerala/Maharashtra try the Vindaloo (pork, beef, chicken, lamb) with rice also the Kolhapuri Chicken
If your in the south like Tamil Nadu or Kerala try the Chicken 65
In Kerala the Kozhi Curry, meat pickles, Kerala fish curry
As as Assamese, the hottest dish I've tried is Ghost Chilli Pork curry with Bamboo shoot!

In India, spicy doesnt mean hot, it means theres a big blend of spices. If you want "hot" Spicy food, visit Rajasthan, West Bengal or Assam. Generally Eastern India likes red hot spicy food. In Southern India you wont find too many hot dishes. But South uses spices which are very rare and expensive which enhances the taste and gives out amazing aroma.
Have you tried Andhra Food if not try in Hyderabad or Andhra Pradesh it's extremely spicy 🔥, ofcourse eastern has spicey food because of the Naga chilli, Andhra and Telangana produces some of the hottest chillies because they eat lot of the pickles like mango, lemon, amla, tomato, tamarind, red chilli, mixed veg, garlic etc..even meat pickles like chicken and mutton...,
@@naninani1549 That's why I said not all South Indian food are spicy, but few of them can be. No haven't tried Andhra cuisine yet, but Hyderabad biriyani I had, pretty spicy. But again nothing compared to east. Like Bihar, Orissa, Bengal, Assam can be fatally spicy. 😂😂
@@naninani1549 currently living in hyderabad and its definitely spicy here
..... Yeah if you want hot spicy food visit my colleague's house 😂
Bro South Indian food is spicier than North Indian but all people compare is idli dosa sambar which is like no spicy at all
Spicy (flavorful) vs. Spicy (hot) are two different things. When I get Indian food, I know it'll be flavorful. As for heat, I tell food vendors, "Don't make it फ़िरंगी spicy." There is a balance. Like when you get Chinese food, "麻辣."
You guys need to understand spicy doesn't mean hot 🥵. Here spicy means mixture of many spices...not just black pepper and salt 😂😂
Most of the country's food is mild and less spicy ,but if you really want to try spicy food you have to Try Andhrapradesh & Telangana and Tamil Nadu food, I think they are the most spiciest food I have eaten especially Andhra food it's extremely spicy 🔥
eastern is actully most spicy as they use ghost peppers

I always say to my German friends that spicy and hot are 2 different things. When you say spicy food in India, it might not be hot but flavourful with optimum amount of spices to add to the flavour. If you want hot, ask for more teekha (hot in hindi), but honestly I can't handle teekha myself 😅 Btw, your videos are awesome, wish you a nice time in India. If you are into smoked food, go for different tandoori/kebab dishes on offer. We have different fusion foods as well: Indo-Chinese, our own variations of pizza and pasta, sizzlers, dumplings like momos etc.
After a spicy curry, there's nothing better than some ice cream.
You CAN have your food with your left hand if you're left handed.. there's no problem bcz having food with right hand just means that you only have to use one hand while eating and the other should be clean enough to serve..most of the people are right handed that's why it's said to use that..but you can use any hand as per your convenience😊❤
I was wondering why she said sorry everytime she used her left hand! Thabks for the explanation 😊
@@alicates5596 I'm glad it helped ☺️
@@alicates5596They have most probably seen videos articles & comments regarding that. And also about how Indians use the left hand to clean bum!
Another great video. Eating great food in Mumbai with Tina Turner playing in the background! Never would've thought that could happen.
Jesus loves you ❤️ Please turn to him and repent and receive Salvation before it is too late.
Excellent. Great to see real city life and food in India. Great series.
Food looks amazing, especially the last meal.
Thank you for the wonderful video of trying Indian street food 👍

big / fancy restaurants usually don't sell spicy food.
The fancier the restraunt the lesser the spice
That walk you guys had reminds me of the walks me and my family used to have our walks in Berlin during our Eurooean holiday in November 2015. Walking there is a dream in comparison to Bombay , we loved walking there and preferred walking to taking a can , bus or boarding the Berlin Metro.
There are supermarkets - Dmart, Big bazaar, Star bazaar etc.
you used your right hand more naturally than anyone new to eating with hands could 👏👏
You can absolutely use your dominant hand to eat. Right hand use is suggest because of some reason that I won't type here. But yes eating with LEFT HAND IS NOT DISRESPECTFUL IF IT IS YOUR DOMINANT HAND. Enjoy
Video Quality Is very Impressive.
Love from India❤
The seeds in the falooda are probably not chia seeds, unless it is a bougie place experimenting. They are typically sweet basil seeds (sabja)
I am starting addicted to your videos❤... Welcome to India🇮🇳.... Hope you are enjoying here😊
Agree with the full of spice vs hot chili spice. My family can have a stomach reaction from 'full of spice' dishes. It's like their system is not used to so much spice per ounce. I've never felt that but I have been out with relatives who didn't feel so good after Indian food. I feel elated afterward because it is so flavorful. Yum.
Would be interesting to see where you stayed and a sit down meal ❤
There are multiple supermarkets all across India in both cities and towns. Look for reliance fresh, big bazaar, d mart, among others. These are the national chains and then every state have their own chains as well. What you went to is a pharmacy and not a supermarket. You will find it more near residential colonies.
So I have only eaten Indish food in Germany and England. In Germany - even if you say you want your food tl be hot/spicy , it just never really is spicy. In England, however, this is different. I recommend you to try „Vindaloo“ which is a very spicy and hot curry
The spice is not exaggerated. I had the opportunity to visit an Indian freighter while in port courtesy of the captain and ate what the crew ate. It was fire! But so good. Not done for tourists, but working men.
Bro. Nice time to come india really Good Lucky man
Agree on spice: I could not find anything too spicy for me in India and I tried. I have in-laws in Chennai so I really tried.
Please try next time pure 100% vegetarian Indian foods.
56 Bhog .
CHULI varchi Gulachi Puran poli , aamti , vaataleli daal , kurdai , onion bhaje , aamba rus , basundi , kordi batata bhaji , gavraan tup.
Wheres the Goa Portugesa clip? I had seen yall! ❤
I am Indian and I would like to inform that non-spicy food is also available in India at all places. It's not necessary to eat spicy food, if your stomach is not happy with it. I myself don't like to eat spicy food. Also there is no need to eat street food, if you feel it won't suit your stomach or you feel it won't be hygienic. You can decide what goes in your stomach. All options are available in India. Food for poorest to the richest person is available. Also many cities have western food available. Also India has so many food varieties, which I don't think is possible in many other countries. This is because India has so many different cultures mixed in single country. Also people think India was always poor, but in reality India was a very rich country before British looted India and stolen Indian money and things and destroyed the Indian economy and culture like they did across the world also.
You should try the pepper donuts
5:16 finally any foreigner didn’t say mimosa 😂
Yes most of the time spicy in India means different spices in the food , but if you want really spicy food then you have to vist Goa for Pork or chicken Vindaloo , Laal maas curry in Rajasthan , Phaal curry or any dish with bhoot jolokia chilly in North east of India . And all these places are beautiful aswell , so do visit if you have time
Spiciest dish I've eaten was some sort of Thai soup from a restaurant run by an Thai lady who was not interested in toning anything down for American palates. Indian food spice level varies quite a lot IME. It's a huge country with a diverse cuisine after all. In the US, it often takes some cajoling to get them to make things really hot.
On my list of places to go ..
Indian food is considered spicy because in one dish there could be a combination of 15 different spices. Spicy doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be hot. If you’re looking for hot food, then you have to go to South India. Northern India is milder and you definitely won’t find extremely spicy stuff in Bombay unless you ask for more green / red chillies .
Walking on the highway.Going to the beach...it's a long way to the sea, if you wanna there hang out... (almost AC/DC)...🤣🤣🤣
Love Korma, lots of flavour. Love the desserts. Try Barfi, it's yummy
Great now I want some curry
It's nice to see the seller wearing gloves
Finally the last dish was proper spicy! 😊
WOW looks so 😋 yummy.
Make sure to have yoghurt, the natural probiotic from time to time..gonna help you strengthen your stomach for the tropical food.
I believe there are very few foreigners who are this explorative regarding food in India. Great video and you're welcome to my home in Germany for more authentic Indian food if you ever crave it :D
Real is in south India only because north India dishes have mild sweetness so once eat in south India u will definitely feel the spice
Welcome to India. 🙏🙏
Try Pork Vindaloo in Goa
Before British rool india there is india our culture is millions years
Your UA-cam channel is boom boom
If you want hot spicy food try Priya pickles you can find them in any shop. Just get rotis or curd+rice and consume it with the pickles. 😋
The really spicy food is from the southern states especially from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. North Eastern states like Nagaland also have very spicy food. North India, and even Maharashtra are not known for very spicy(hot) foods, but the restuarants anywhere in India can make the food really spicy if you request them to do so.
Have some sweet curd after dinner or launch to cools down your stomach. Best way to stay away from sick in India. Have a nice journey ❤❤❤❤❤
Try saoji food from Nagpur city the spice level is way to high🔥
Why does the beach looks so clean and good in this video? Is this editing?
Generally what spice item you have in streets of india it is only for running customers. Local people don't eat such type of spicy food in home except some non veg dishes where spice is required. So try some authentic food by staying in some local people's home. There you get the real taste of india
Eat at swati snacks nariman point, go to Matunga for dosa
Deana is never thought of as from the USA first.
She looks a bit indian (American native), but she has Asian blood in her...🤓
How long will you be in Mumbai? Anyway to catch up?
Every state in India has different languages, festivals, cultures, cuisines etc..some state's cuisines sre spicier than others...Beef, pork and a variety of seafood are consumed in certain parts of South India and North-East India
Come to surat gujarat India and try that street food
Spiciness in india is usually the flavour the many spices and not hot but it can be too based on region and dish.
Pani puri ❤❤❤...but you do need to eat it immediately
India has a reputation of using a lot of spices in their food. Nobody ever said that their food was spicy hot😂😂😂
Dont stick to.food.understand the diversified culture each state has. Welcome.to india. True indian
I'm Pure vegetarian person.
Dhanyawad Ji.
Well, if you are looking for spicy (hot) indian food, try Andhra cuisine. Andhra chilly fry chicken is just awesome, it's hot but super flavour. I hope you will visit Bangalore, I recommend Meghna Foods in Bangalore for authenticatic spicy hot Andhra food... It feels really good to see people from west (Europe) come to India, and enjoy our food and culture without any biases and with open mind. Shows how good human being you 2 are. Kudos
If your left handed you eat with left ❤
The food is spicy, as in flavorful. Many times, when you hear things being made less spicy for Westerners, it's because it's "too many flavors for their palate." Yeah, right. Flavor I like. As for heat, depends upon my mood. Sometimes I want a lot, sometimes I want a little. It's about complimenting the flavors, and adding that extra dimension to it. It is not about seeing who can stand "burning" more.
Even left handed people use right hand to eat food in india.
Order Currys in a desi restorent for spicy food
Try butter chicken with naan
Oh god spice water on the street. I am worried for you. I got very bad food poisoning in deepest Rajasthan 20 years ago. It was bad.
It's not spicy in Mumbai it's spicy nalasopara
As a Gujarati i would like to say that, The Sponge cake thing is called "KHAMAN" not the DHOKLA....dhokla is totally different dish
Come to South India, for very spicy food
I am from Assam, North-East India. Here we eat world's hottest chilli called Bhut Jolokia or Ghost pepper. We used in curries or eat raw with rice. While Assamese food is less spicy, it's can very hot(spicey and hot are two diffrent things). You can visit North-East India if you wanna try hot foods, but in terms of spices, rest of India does better.
In India spicy means lots of seasoning.
Unlike the West where spicy means hot.
Moreover food in South India are not that hot, they are mild.
Hot spicy are generally found in the Central-Northern India i.e. Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh etc.
Stereotypical Indian food (popular in the west) are generally the North Indian food, also most of the tourist visit Central-North India (Golden Triangle of tourism) and so the stereotype of Indian food being spicy (hot).
But actually food in India are very Diverse and the food and taste changes once you change the state.
If you want real hot/spicy then come to NorthEast India. Or find a place that offers "Bhut Jolokia/Naga Chilly" dish.
After eating the dish don't complain that I didn't warn you.
If you want real spicy and hot thn visit Assam Rajasthan nd west bangal..in India spice means mixture of different.. kind of spices...so visit Assam Rajasthan nd west bengal thn you'll find out what is real spicyness nd hotness..nd mainly visit nagaland and Assam for spicyness
the last place looks amazing. now I'm craving Indian food. How did you feel safetly wise as a (werstern) tourist there? have there been places where you felt like it'S better not to go there?
Jesus loves you ❤️ Please turn to him and repent and receive Salvation before it is too late. The end times written about in the Bible are already happening in the world. Jesus was born into this world without sin. He then lived a life without sin and then he died on the cross for our sins and God raised him from the dead on the third day. Jesus is waiting for you with open arms but time is running out. Please repent and turn to Jesus now before it is too late.
Jesus is the son of God and he is Lord.
Mumbai is one of the safest cities in the world ✌️ Infact much more safer than any USA or UK City.
Guaranteed.
Precautions is needed all over the world. Don't pretend as if your countries are 100% safe. Infact western countries are 10X more unsafe than ours.
You watch too much western media that create perception in your mind. Visit Udaipur, Rajasthan.
@tulika_9519 good point. They watch too much CNN, BBC.
If you are in India, enjoy the vegetarian food that you don't get anywhere in the world. India food is based on Ayurveda the ancient medicine system of India. It recommends cook and eat, don't store.
Tomorrow forget about it❤❤❤eat like u never eat before❤❤
visit us in the Philippines
Try this spicy food in Maharashtra
kolhapuri chicken curry
Misal pav
Saoji mutton curry

Brüder , Guten Abend , wie geht's?? I'm learning German 😅
If you want spicy, ask for chicken Kolhapuri, chicken chilly in Chinese and misal pav in snacks
Paanipuri waster is good for stomach, and good digestion❤❤❤
Ate a food spice on South of kerala
Did you get Deli belly?
I was confused by all these comments saying that you guys used the wrong word to indicate the meaning of ....food that makes your eyes tear up and perhaps involves burning in the back of the throat. So if spicy is wrong, and hot is obviously wrong (temperature), what word do we use? It turns out German has the same problem. I LEO'd scharf and got "sharp." I LEO'd spicy and got "pikant." (BTW nothing in Germany that says pikant is atcually spicy.) So both English and German have a problem expressing what we all know you want to say. Maybe other languages have a clue.
How many day's you people will stay in Mumbai, I've never taken photo video any other country's people 😢😅
Next: try Japan and wasabi in it's pure form, also Kobe beef cattle is fed on beer if you like some german connection, personally i'd settle for a bier!😂 😅
Bro you Go India IPL cricket Match really You All Forget
Guys if you wanna do a spicy challenge, then do it in Rajasthan. It's the final boss.
It isnt spicy untill it burns 3 times. In your mouth, in your stomach and when it has to leave the body the natural way ;-)
I envy you for trying indian food. Mostly because the food from Indian places in most of Europe isnt spicy at all despite ordering it hot(Flavourfull but not spicy)
LOL "I don't think it's spicy at all but I can see how some people would think it's spicy." This is the story of my life. Even last night when my husband tried dinner, "Spicy." It was a dash of cayenne! Anyway I watch a cooking show on ZDF and my favorite parts are when the contestants burn the mouths of the judges when they aren't expecting something to be spicy. One judge said, "omg I cannot taste anything else now, I think my sense of taste is broken."
Please try south indian food like MASALA DOSA, VADA, POORI, BISI BELLA BATH,IDLI all are vegetarian food..please verify with locals while entering into any hotel.don't eat much Street food few places are not hygiene.. you can order your food by ZOMOTO or SWIGGY also..If you are planning Bengaluru MTR HOTEL IS FAMOUS and all Udupi hotels are good hotels you get only vegitarian food only. Hyderabad ALL TAJ HOTELS,MINERVA are good hotels which serves north and south indian excellent food.biryani bavarchi, paradise are good hotels..
