The last scene was the most tense and best scene in bcs so far. Absolutely furious that Rhea Sheehorn didn't even get a Emmy nomination.

you can't tell me that the last 10 minutes of this episode are not some of the most nerve-wracking and exciting minutes of tv ever made. if you did, you'd be lying. also, give Rhea Seehorn her Emmy already.
The extra money from the bag was for Jimmy's lawyer fee that he already discussed with Lalo. And even if it was a couple of thousand missing from the whole craziness in the desert, it could easily be replaced from Jimmy's cut.

She's the Walter White of this show. A person who has spent most of their life as a good person, but they are struggling with a dark side that will ultimately consume them.

I think you are right when you said that Mike made Gus more chill, If you guys rewatch the BB box cutter scene, you'll see that Mike points his gun to Gus when he kills Victor, like a wtf moment lol, a little detail that goes a long way in the story of both shows
This episode is the moment I think most people fell in love with Lalo. Tony Dalton really is a craftsman when it comes to delivering so much on screen through small dialogue and detailed facial expressions. I often go back to pick up a subtle blink, smirk or hand gesture he makes because it’s all apart of his performance as Lalo and it’s done flawlessly! And Kim is the most layered character I think Vince has ever written. I think they are about to do something truly tragic to her character because that’s been an usual theme for “Breaking Bad Universe.” For Instance, with Walter his transformation of his friendship with Jessie became irreconcilable initially with Janes OD death. The fabric of Walt and Jessie’s friendship crumbled after and it revealed Walt’s inner depraved psyche and how far he’s willing to get what he wants/needs. Jimmy is about to go through his transformation but before that happens, he will have to lose more of his morality and become the Saul Goodman he’s destined to be. Just like when he lost his best friend Marco in a flashback from Season 1. Jimmy pulled a scam with his friend while entertaining a Job offer from Davis & Main law firm. Marco had a heart attack and before dying, he told Jimmy that running that con with him was the best time he ever had in his life. Soon after Jimmy declines the job offer and decides he no longer feels obligated to “do the right thing.” Jimmy and Kim I feel are headed that way and it’s not gonna end well....😢

@@pitchking5496 No, she was written over the course of these five seasons by a team of writers including Gould. Vince wasn't involved most of the time.
Honestly when Lalo first appeared he seemed like a really cartoony moustache-twirling villain but you quickly realize just how fucking terrifying and good Tony Dalton is in the role.
That was one of the best endings ever. That scene cemented Kim's place as not only one of the best characters on the show, and on Breaking Bad at large, but as just one of the baddest bitches on television. Rhea Seahorn not getting nominated for an Emmy for this episode was a god damn crime. Shoutout to Tony Dalton too for being so damn intimidating and being the villain this show needed.
You know what I find interesting?
Kim said to Lalo "he doesn't lie" but Lalo DOES know that Jimmy lies.
Jimmy lied to the judge about Lalo having a family so I wonder how this piece of information will play a role in the final season.

I think Lalo was content enough with Kim's story. For now, at least.
Bolsa wanted Lalo in prison because hes raising unwanted attention to their operation/ the cartel. And Lalo would never listen to reason so Bolsa goes all the way. No half measures..
This was the episode, and that was the scene, that convinced me that Rhea Seehorn would win the Emmy. The fact that she wasn't even nominated is a travesty.
Lalo and Kim both saw the holes in Jimmys story, literally
Just like how Jimmy talked Tuco down from killing the skateboarding twins Kim talked Lalo out of likely killing both Jimmy and herself.
Giving prompts to the actors of Lalo and Kim respectfully, are totally justifying. They both did an amazing job portraying the situation giving. Lalo being the intimidating with a smile on his face and Kim showing courage in a anxiety feeling situation is just wow. Such a brilliant writing!!!
But we simply can’t let Saul/Jimmys character (Bob Odenkirk) for his tremendous acting skills here. Portraying as a nervous guy and showing the different layers of nervousness, is simply beyond amazing. And think about they/he didn’t do this in one take. This must’ve taken several takes and still be able to show the feeling of anxiety/nervousness and showing layers of it. And the way his voice cracking for every new story he’s telling Lalo. I AM SPEECHLESS
Vince Gilligan & Peter Gould did a phenomenal job.

Honestly the whole finding something and shooting it is fairly common where I live. Out on some company oil property there was one of those giant heavy TVs with the built in cabinet all shot up. It is something fairly common in certain areas.
This was easily my favorite episode of the entire season
There needs to be one smart person there on the couch for these Better Call Saul reaction. Just so everytime one of them says something really dumb they can just look at the camera, Office style, and shake their head.
God now I want that to happen, would be more entertaining.

Like when they say why doesn't Mike shoot Lalo. For real; how can they forget within one episode what lenght Gus and Mike went through, even moving directly against Bolsa, to get him back over the border. Like how much mess can they afford before the cartel takes Gus out.

Lalo is like the Long John Silver of this universe. Terrifying, but disarmingly charming. He puts you edge while simultaneously putting you at ease.

Kim told Lalo that he have trust issues then he trusted Nacho and he rat him out. Never trust anyone trust me.

Finally, a female character in the breaking bad universe that doesnt suck. Not dissing the actresses, Skylar and Marie were annoying as fuck. Jane was ok when she was sober. Andrea was ok too but Kim is the goat.
God these past few episodes are worthy of giving heart attacks

In regards of Kim potentially dying - We've actually come to a point where killing her off would be the most predictable outcome, so I'm not too sure if that's what the writers wanna do anymore. Or maybe they want us to think that, so it's unpredictable when she dies.
Mike wouldn't have taken the shot at all, he wasn't planning on it.
Gus told him their actions had to be impeccable, above reproach. If Lalo is killed on this side of the border, sniped like that most of all, the Cartel would know it was Gus behind it, it is his territory, they expect him to know what is going on.
It was the whole point of getting Lalo arrested for the murder he committed, then doing everything to get him out on bail, so that he'd be forced to go back home, where the assassination attempt could take place without Gus being blamed.
Anywhere rural if you abandon something it will get shot

Had these people really been paying attention (and assuming any of them are actually capable of "doing" nuance, they might have noticed and commented upon the stupid and suspicious behavior of Nacho Varga in the scene where the car is discovered (Of course they were too busy making wisecracks about "the jump" to really pay attention to what was possibly significant.)
For those of you who are actually following the plot, did it occur to you, as it did to me, that Nacho should have gone over to the pit, looked down at Lalo and the overturned car, and said something such as "what the fuck?"? In other words, a normal reaction would have been for him, Nacho, to have expressed (in a very low key, tough guy way of course), at least some degree of surprise, some curiosity about what had gone down.
It seems, at least to me, that Nacho’s "non-reaction," was about the most suspicious way he could have behaved. Lalo is very perceptive and suspicious, in his "job" one would have to be to succeed, or even survive. IMO, Nacho’s behavior would have, in reality, set Lalo’s alarm bells a-ringin’.
The judge did order the bail in cash.

The reason people hate Skyler and love Kim is because Kim is a lot more loving and understanding to Jimmy where Skyler constantly nags Walt and "stands in his way" which she has the right mindset most of the time, but the problem is she's doing all that to the shows main protagonist. Kim disapproves of Jimmy and what he's into but she still loves him unconditionally and would never cheat on him or intentionally try to hurt him like Skyler. Kim is also a lot more of a badass who can better stand on her own as a character
Skylar didn’t cheat on him, they were separated she asked him for a divorce and he wouldn’t give it. This is so dumb, so are you saying that married couples in real life who are separated must remain loyal to each other? Any excuse to hate women,

That’s a great casting.
I feel him or Jason Momoa would’ve been a better pick for Kraven that ATJ. Idk wtf Sony is doing, especially giving him superpowers from lion blood. This anti-hero Sinister Six plan feels so forced. They’d be better off doing projects of multiple Spider-Men in alternate universes, then build to a crossover with that.
Also it’s too bad Tony Dalton already portrayed Swordsman in Hawkeye. He was criminally underutilized. It would’ve been too predictable if he was the main villain, but it would’ve been cool to see Lalo interact with the Kingpin. I hope they do something more with him later on, maybe in the Thunderbolts.

If people hated skylar for no reason then we would all hate kim Weller and Wendy byrde from ozark but we don't or at least all the people I know that have watched the shows don't because they are actually well written wendy is literally just better Skylar who for me went from some asshole who's always donating marty and belittling him to being the stronger half of the power couple dynamic come season 3
Mike is there to ensure that Lalo doesnt find out the truth. He has to be sure that Jimmy doesnt spill out the true story, otherwise the cartel will declare war on Gus. He's not here to protect jimmy.
Also, when Kim tells Lalo that he csnt trust his own man and needs to get his shit together he realizes she's right and he goes away
