hey it’s me, the girl she was talking about- this was one of the songs they put in the very first playlist they made for me. I wanted to let everyone know if they see this that her and i are now together,, pretty soon is gonna be our upcoming 1 year anniversary actually! @@Antoinebech I feel like this song would be perfect in halfway of a movie where two lovers starts to lose interest in each other but at the end they'll realise it's okay not to have everything figured out at the moment and that they don't need to know almost everything about each other. Because they know the most important thing that they belong together and that life can never separates them and if it did, they will find their way back again into each other's arms as they always belonged. Deliciously lovely songwriting, Lizzy, camouflaging profound depth. I'm a man in his mid-60s who heard this on my daughter's Spotify playlist and was moved to tears by its seemingly light-hearted pathos. The human condition: we don't reach for what we really desire out of fear of rejection. I'm close to being out of time, but crave the same things the singer does: love, connection, and intimacy. Yet I, like the singer, knowing crashes of many sorts could end any chance at all, don't take the chances I may have for a variety of reasons.
So I listened, related to and loved the song, and wept.
Keep writing deeply beautiful songs, Lizzy.

I'm in love with this song. A friend recommend it to me after a rough breakup, and I'm now obsessed with it, and it's my go to whenever I start thinking about her.
I was planning to confess to my friend today, and was getting ready to call him when this song appeared on my Spotify radio. A number of years ago, I was traveling alone on an airplane to go see family. I've traveled on planes before, but the turbulence on this flight was ESPECIALLY bad, to the point that I thought my life would be ending in a crash.
I still had my phone in airplane mode, but still, I decided to email my parents. I told them I was sorry for all my mistakes and wrongdoings. I said I was sorry that they never got to see me graduate university or walk me down the aisle. I said I forgave my siblings and that I wanted to be cremated, etc.
When the plane landed safely, my parents got the message and apparently, they thought I had been joking, as that message was very out of the blue.
When I explained, they chuckled at my silliness and told me that they were glad I was alive.
This is one of the cutest songs I have ever heard. I love how the entire song, she is overthinking and thinking about how she may die the next day, so she better tell her partner how much she loves him.
