Definitely not saying you *have* to if you really don't want to, but there's massive benefits to weight bearing exercise for anybody and everybody. A strong body is a healthy body, one that's less prone to disease of all sorts, especially most every day aches and pains. Your brain and body, recognizing that, will release more of the hormones that tell your conscious self that everything is okay and fine, so you'll feel happier, less anxious, and more secure in all other aspects of your life. Long story short, there's always a point to gaining muscle, even if the muscular development itself isn't appealing to you. I'd highly encourage you to give it a shot yourself and see if it works for your life and benefits you the way it benefits me. Well, yes going to gym is kind of pointless :). It has became very popular nowadays, but it seems like people forgot that you can train at home or outside. Running on treadmill in sweaty gym seems kind of strange thing to me when you can run outside :D. Same is with cycling and many resistance exercises which you can do at home using simple gear or just body weight. Additionally sometimes just time spend to get to the gym and from the gym will be longer then time you need to make training set at home :D
People have different schedules, it's easy to run on a treadmill in a closed, air conditioned gym, then out on a bright sunny day and have your skin burnt or tanned...also, gym is a more organised place where you can have access to various machines and equipment by paying subscription charges whereas if u setup a home gym with same machines and equipment, it can create a hole in one's pocket and also not a very good investment too...body weight and resistance band exercise have their limits...tried both...
@@mohit92260 But most people do not need these machines :) For many exercises done to be healthy and fit they are not needed at all :D So you can actually save money by training at home. Climate argument can be ok, but that's rarely issue in my country to have such heat that it would be better to run in gym :D
If your only fitness goals are running or callisthenics, then yes, there's no need to take out a gym membership. However, even if those are your goals, not all people can run in their cities. They are polluted (inhaling particulates is a great way to shorten your life) and cold and rainy (I'd love to see you run year-round in mine). You suggest exercising at home. How are you supposed to do that if you live in a flat? There is nothing intrinsically wrong with exercising in a gym. For most people who go regularly, it's a space that is as important as their home and their work. Bringing it home makes as much sense as working from home - no thank you.
The sad part is that I half-agree with the first guy. You don't need a gym membership, all you need to exercise is the will to better yourself. That second guy though, it's too bad there's not a machine that can exercise your brain.
As someone who’s been dealing with depression for almost a decade now, I have to say going to the gym does help boost your mental state. It is very beneficial to you both mentally and physically. It might take a while to strengthen your mind but going to the gym is a very great choice! Discipline.

Theres a thing called gym classes and personal trainers
For cardio, yes, I see your point. But not for isolated muscle group training. You need specific tools for that.
The second guy is a ritualist 😂😂
The determination of people on Tiktok, media, and internet in general to humiliate themselves and flex their negative IQ is impressive

lmao this video brings me back 9-10 years ago when i just found your youtube channel 😂
The sad part is that I half-agree with the first guy. You don't need a gym membership, all you need to exercise is the will to better yourself. That second guy though, it's too bad there's not a machine that can exercise your brain.
You're right. There is no contest. You friggin made it up.
"...Aligning the pharmacy of the body to over dopamine the mind"

As someone who’s been dealing with depression for almost a decade now, I have to say going to the gym does help boost your mental state. It is very beneficial to you both mentally and physically. It might take a while to strengthen your mind but going to the gym is a very great choice! Discipline.
That poke to BMW drivers 😂
