But when push comes to shove id imagine they would use that bite force to good use....hence why most people dont own them they can't handle the responsibility of it. my aunt has one and ive seen those instincts kick in. if he wasn't trained and didnt listen to you your getting dragged into it. Literally. even me a grown ass man couldnt stop him one time. Thank god he was only curious about this one tiny little dog and it was just a really tolerant old couple. Man i said sorry so many time's. it was a super awkward situation. but for the most part last time i was with him and walked him he would listen. but yea that was pretty funny. @Stephen Carr It's more of the way she was treated by her siblings as a puppy. She was the smallest and most timid of the bunch so she got pushed around a lot, stuff taken from her by stronger and more assertive siblings, etc. She's doing a lot better since she's with my friend's family and lately started showing a lot more confidence, but she's still a sweetheart to other people (she isn't a fan of other animals though, especially ones she doesn't know).
I own a Cane Corso. He is a 9month old puppy that was probably around 85lbs. I weigh 290 lbs and he can pull me across the floor while I am sitting in a regular dining chair.

My gf rescued female kangal. She is very tame and calm. Right now she only has 35 kg (rescued a week ago), but you can see by her head she's meant to have at least 15 more. Right now, she eats 1 kg of "bosch" dog food daily, along side canned food.
Are you an experienced dog handler? As a Turkish person I know our breed can be little headstrong and can show independent personality. Of course your dog is female which makes her more polite but can still be dangerous. I would recommend a professional help if you come up with difficulties

Fun fact: playing tug of war with my neighbors pit. Thought my hand was the toy and chomped. Bled all over their nice wood floor. My sister has had seven Rottweilers and I don't know that any of them were nearly as strong as this Pitbull. I don't know anything about the breed. They said it's a blue steel and it weighs about 85-90 pounds. If you had it on a leash and it was determined to attack, you would have to be a Mr Olympia to hold it back.

I was not expecting to see the Saint Bernard that high. I have a 10 yr old female, and they do wield extreme power. Just didn’t think their bite force was that high up to boot
I was surprised too considering they are often used to rescue people from snow and help those with disabilities, typically you want a dog that has a gentle bite, plus St Bernards are considered the best around children and infants in terms of "gentleness".
I have a Turkish boz Shepard which is close to a kangal, he’s only 8 months old and his play bite is detrimental. I can only imagine what a real bite would feel like from a full grown boz Shepard

I own a lab... now granted he is huge about a hundred pounds and very tall. A pit the is 55 pounds blocky head and an 80 pound male Shepard. The lab always breaks his bones up first. I've also rescued Bordeaux years back and those jaws are something else.

My moms 40kg pitbull got attacked by 2 saint bernard. 1 misses an ear now and the other got lucky my moms dog only managed to bite the hair cuz it bit in the dogs throat. I always keep my Doberman, German Shepard, and Siberian Husky out at night so nothing roams inside. My pomeranian sleeps with me in my room because he's just a baby.
I feel like there is a lot of breeds missing here. We used to have Newfoundlands, they easily split moosebones that other dogs had given up on and ate the bonemarrow. They also carried live chickens and other small animals in their mouth without hurting them. I don't know how you would get them to do a bite test though

I’ve been bitten by a Malinois on accident before. The teeth did not sink into my skin and it still hurt a good amount 😂 I can only imagine the 200+ dogs.
Most dog bites are warning bites, it’s very rare for a highly domesticated creature such as a dog to use full force, unless it’s mad/behavior issues or trained to do so like a police dog. I’m sure most people get warning bites, not the full thing.
Fun fact: Kangal breed is from Sivas/Turkey. They height like almost half a avarage human height. They seem very very dangerous but some of these dogs looks cute as hell.

I don't know if the Kangal has the strongest bite force, but the biggest feature that makes the Kangal different from other shepherd dog breeds is that the focus of all other breeds is on the herd. In other words, they keep the herd together by monitoring it and protect it. However, the Kangal breed shepherd dog focuses on external factors, not the herd.

But when push comes to shove id imagine they would use that bite force to good use....hence why most people dont own them they can't handle the responsibility of it. my aunt has one and ive seen those instincts kick in. if he wasn't trained and didnt listen to you your getting dragged into it. Literally. even me a grown ass man couldnt stop him one time. Thank god he was only curious about this one tiny little dog and it was just a really tolerant old couple. Man i said sorry so many time's. it was a super awkward situation. but for the most part last time i was with him and walked him he would listen. but yea that was pretty funny. @Stephen Carr It's more of the way she was treated by her siblings as a puppy.
She was the smallest and most timid of the bunch so she got pushed around a lot, stuff taken from her by stronger and more assertive siblings, etc.
She's doing a lot better since she's with my friend's family and lately started showing a lot more confidence, but she's still a sweetheart to other people (she isn't a fan of other animals though, especially ones she doesn't know).

Fun fact: playing tug of war with my neighbors pit. Thought my hand was the toy and chomped. Bled all over their nice wood floor. My sister has had seven Rottweilers and I don't know that any of them were nearly as strong as this Pitbull. I don't know anything about the breed. They said it's a blue steel and it weighs about 85-90 pounds. If you had it on a leash and it was determined to attack, you would have to be a Mr Olympia to hold it back.

I own a lab... now granted he is huge about a hundred pounds and very tall. A pit the is 55 pounds blocky head and an 80 pound male Shepard. The lab always breaks his bones up first. I've also rescued Bordeaux years back and those jaws are something else.

@@daedae556 I snagged a fight rescue red 50 pound bitch from Columbus ASPCA in 2016( she is 8 we think). Her face and chest is a mess. She sleeps in bed. Lab will eat moles and what not and keeps us entertained.

Most dog bites are warning bites, it’s very rare for a highly domesticated creature such as a dog to use full force, unless it’s mad/behavior issues or trained to do so like a police dog. I’m sure most people get warning bites, not the full thing.
