A bit of bottle cutting with the ronin katana model #2
For a budget sword, this has to be one of the best. At under $150 it handles and cuts extremely well even in the hands of a novice like myself.

I’m curious how you sharpen the edge? And yes “with great care” is a given 😂
Unfortunately the us isn't big on recycling, you can get maybe 50 cents a pound for aluminum but nothing for plastic in most states. As for the edge I keep it sharp with a leather stropp. If you don't allow an edge to go dull it's very easy to maintain. If there is a dull spot I can usually sort it out with a 600 grit stone.
